Excellent product. Bought these shoes to replace a pair that were 20yrs. old.

A word to the wise, when ordering any of the Gumshoes or LLBean mocs, pay attention to the size warning. I take a size 13 Wide, so that's what I ordered, to my complete surprise they were too big, in the length, the width was fine. I returned them and received a size 12 which fit fine. The whole process of returning them was seamless. I will get another pair of these or other fine Bean products, I've had nothing but good results with anything I have purchased from Bean.

This is my second pair of Bean Boots, as I also have an 8-inch pair. These boots are perfect for rainy days or other activities that don't require the coverage of the taller Bean Boots. I highly recommend them. As always, pay close attention to the sizing guidelines. I wear a 12.5 in most shoes, but an 11 in Bean Boots.

I'm very impressed with the quality of these shoe over some others I have seen around. Great looking shoes. Shipping time was fantastic!

after making my selection and reading the sizing sugestions and also all the reveiws, called customer service and confirmed sizing not only did the very nice lady tell me i was correct in ordering one size smaller than normal she took time to go ask someone there who has the same type of boot !!! ordered on a Sunday pm and received the product folling Thursday @ 12;30pm nowthats great free shipping great service made in USA and a absoultly beautiful great fitting boot!!! LL BEAN has gained a life long customer !!!

I have worn the 10" version for years and love them. I finally decide to add this boot for lighter weather, etc and it's perfect. I like the fit and it feels great walking around in them. I did have to buy a different size (smaller) than the 10 inch due to the way the boot fits and laces. Follow the sizing guidelines and you should be fine.

These are exactly what I wanted. They are quick and easy to put on when it is raining or snowing in the morning and they keep my feet perfectly dry. I was tired of having wet feet all the time wearing oxfords in the rain. They work well with jeans or khakis, and have been great so far. They run large, but I've been wearing thicker socks with them and haven't minded at all. I like that they are a little roomier.

I bought these shoes for my 26 yr old son for Christmas. He loved them and commented on how comfortable they were right out of the box (no break-in needed). Some reviews said they run a little big (half size), so I ordered him a 10 instead of his usual 10 1/2, and that was perfect. These shoes have been around for a long time for a reason!

Followed the guidelines for shoe size, I normally wear a size 10 and as per recommendations, I ordered a size 9 and it fit perfect. This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever worn. In addition, the shoe doesn't mark the floor of the boat:)

I bought this gumshoe b/c I had a pair as a kid and loved them. They are great looking but a bit on the large side. I wear 10 1/2 in most shoe so I got the 10 and it is a little big. I have not worn them with rag wool socks as suggested YET, but will when the weather hits.

I wanted to wear these with thick socks, so I followed the size guidelines and purchased a half size smaller than my usual size. I wear them with Bean's ragg wool socks - They fit perfectly. If you want to keep your feet dry, these do it. The gumshoe style is a little faster to put on and take off than the boot version. Looks better with dressier clothes, too.

I was looking for comfortable winter shoes for myself, ended buying these for my husband. He really likes them. Very comfortable and well made boots. Followed the instructions for sizing, husband is an 11.5 and went for a size 10-wide, perfect with medium/regular thick socks.

My father bought me my first pair of LLBean gumshoes 50 years ago. A great pair of shoes is timeless. These shoes are comfortable and still a great value. I normally wear a size 12 and a size 10 in the gumshoes fits perfectly.

They fit true to size, have better than expected arch support, and are more comfortable than expected. I haven't had a chance to test them in extreme conditions yet, but so far so good.

My husband LOVES these boots! Definitely buy the smaller size as recommended. My husband thought I was crazy to do so and then when we received them and he put them on...they were perfect. I've now ordered a pair for myself.

The last pair lasted about 20 years. Finally wore through the sole. Forgot they ran long, so had to exchange them for a size down, but worth the wait. Same quality as the last pair.

These all weather boots are just great for slush & snow. They keep my feet warm and dry and "grip the road". LL Bean is the best customer focused firm with whom I have dealt!

This is my husband's second pair. His first pair seemed to last 100 years and is still going strong. He just wanted a nice, new, dressier looking pair. They are great!

They are what I expected them to be - sturdy footgear in wet circumstances.

We were in New England area in August (25th Anniversary trip to Vemont) and visited the West Lebanon, NH store where I bought a pair of these. As indicated in their information they run large as I normally wear 11/12 depending on the manufacturer and after trying them on a 10 was just fine. Normally you have the rubber boot syndrome and they never fit well. (I am a firefighter and have been through several variations and wear them for long periods but these feel like shoes and are great and I can wear them all day. I am also a competition shooter and the correct shoes/boots are critical for shooting from the standing position. Too soft and you are constantly rocking back and forth. If heel is too high same thing. I have used my Bean Boots for shooting from the standing position and they are the best I have found in a long time to use in that position. As well one generally has wet feet after walking through the wet grass to the firing line. These will eliminate that problem as well. The attached pic was just taken at National Rifle Championships from 1000 yard line and we have to walk down to the 200 yard line in wet grass every morning to shoot and then on to the target line and these will really perform well for this application. I have always wanted a pair of these but was skeptical because of the rubber boot syndrome I have experienced for years. LL Bean has completely redefined excellence in rubber boots. The workmanship is flawless . Will be ordering a second pair of these with thinsulate today as they are performing far better than expected.

Ordered the Gumshoe for my husband in both the insulated and uninsulated. They fit perfect, keep his feet dry and clean up nicely.

These are very large, and we are thankful for the warning to choose a smaller size. 1 or 2 socks needed for fit, BUT that is good, 'cause these are IMpermeable to water from outside (good), and inside (sweat). PERFECT for muddy conditions gardening and landscaping.

Hard to improve upon perfection. This is the second pair of these shoes that I've purchased - and I still have the left one. I would have both were it not for a pair of rambunctious Brittany pups who found a way into my closet one night while I was at work. I also have a pair of higher topped Bean's Maine hunting boots that I have been using for everything from deer hunting to ice fishing for well over twenty years. I returned them to have them re-soled a few years ago (an absolute bargain) and expect to have them for at least another twenty.
