These boots are perfect. I saw a man in the waiting room of my doctor's office who was wearing your boots and I asked him where he got them. He said, LL Bean. I immediately ordered them. I like the fact that they are excellent "boot-quality" but are not "high" boots...more like a shoe but good for walking in the city after the snow storm, of which there have been many! Thanks, LL Bean!

A great product. This is my second New England winter wearing these and they are a terrific concept. I have the taller boots for deep snow, but for "normal" snow situations they do fine. Waterproof, warm, durable, with good traction. I have begun wearing these in other seasons. They are terrific on rainy days or when walking on unpaved roads. Practically a hiking boot. Highly recommend.

Very Comfortable. Ne to select a better pair of socks for thei extremely cold weather.

I still have the pair I had in college,40 years ago. these are just as good. If I live to 120 I will wear nothing but these in winter. I order down to full size from half (I wear 101/2, I order 10, and in wide (I wear an E shoe). and they are perfect. wear with thick sock. Keep away from puppies, they love to chew them. The collars keep snow out. I have 3 pairs of 10 inch boots too. Wonderful.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I own. I wish they could make them in different styles such as Dress Shoes and Casual Shoes. I feel confident running around in the rain with the gumshoe soles. Great workmanship!

I've owned a pair of 10" Bean boots for over 20 years and decided to buy these as an option to have something quicker to slip on and off. They do not disappoint. They are of high quality and comfortable too. I look forward to many years of use. Remember to follow the sizing guidelines. I normally wear a 10-10.5 in dress shoes and 11 in tennis shoes. I ordered a size 9 and they fit nicely... not tight at all. Perfect fit.

Does the job year after year. Good fit for wide feet.

I like color and design.But inside seam is exposed that is not good looking.Acutual when put on no problem.My foot size is 25.5Cm so I prefer US size 7.5 but US size 8 is fit me. I am looking forward snow and rainy day.

A very good USA made product

I bought these for my son who is working as a counselor at a camp in northern Minnesota. He loves them. They are perfect because they keep his feet dry and because he can run in them-a requirement for all counselors. They do run large. He is a size 15, but the 14's fit him well. I predict he will have these for many years.

The first pair of LLBean footwear I've purchased, and they are great. I wear a size 11 in most running shoes, and 10.5 in boots. I ordered a size 10 based on the suggestions and they fit great. I use them for work where my feet used to get wet. Not anymore. Happy to buy a product made in the USA! I plan on buying a 12" pair of boots in the same style for hunting and riding atvs.

I have wanted to try these boots / shoes for a LONG time. I finally broke down and ordered them and they are FANTASTIC. Recommendations concerning what size to order are accurate - follow their instructions. I got mine for yard work and to use as Boat Shoes ... couldn't be better. I leave mine laced loose so I can just slip them on and off ... but if I'm going to do some heavy work, they can be laced tight. WELL Worth the price! Free shipping is great! I'm VERY satisfied on all accounts ... thanks for a GREAT USA MADE PRODUCT!!! I also have a pair of L.L. Bean Boots that I inherited from my father ... I finally retired them after (probably) over 50 years and bought a new pair in addition to these shoes.

As with all of my L.L.Bean purchases, these boots reflect excellent quality. I expect them to be around for a long time. Have an insulated version of the this Gumshoe which I have worn for years during winters in VT. If possible, best to try them on before purchase as they run a bit large. Am a 79 year old widower who buys almost all of his clothes and many other items from L.L.Bean - never been disappointed. FYI: don't own stock in the company, have never worked for them; had a long career in procurement and recognize an excellent source.

The shoe is very comfortable and dry (on the inside) on wet grounds. I wear a size 10, medium to wide length. The size for this LLBean shoe that I now wear is 9 wide. Fits like a glove (shoe). Suggest using Bean's shoe size guide to help make your selection. Initially, I ordered a 10, but was far too big and returned it for a replacement.

My original pair finally wore through the sole. Considering I used them for more than twenty years, I'd say that they were very durable and well made.

Originally tried these on at the Bean store in South Windsor, CT; salesperson clued me in that sizes ran big, which was helpful. I initially balked because of price, spent the next two weeks scouring other stores in Connecticut, but cheaper knockoffs elsewhere just couldn't match the fit or comfort. Dashed back to South Windsor to find they were now out of my size, and salesperson said they wouldn't be getting any more for the foreseeable future (?) Went online, ordered them and was given a ship date of April 22nd. Pleasantly surprised when they arrived 3 weeks early! Couldn't be happier - I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of these boots, just as I have from my very comfortable L.L.Bean Rangeley mocs.

Based on previous purchase of the same shoe,I couldn't ask for a better shoe for the purpose I intend to use the for.

I needed a set of all-season rain shoes. I have weatherproof boots, but they are winter season shoes. These L.L Bean Gumshoe boots were perfect for any wet weather. They are dry and look good enough to wear with almost any clothing. I have been very pleased with the quality and handling of the entire online order experience.

After slogging through the first part of an incredibly god awful winter, I tired of dragging my usual heavy snow boots around everywhere. I was looking for something less heavy and bulky but equally protective and waterproof. I got these just in time for our last couple of snowfalls and couldn't be more pleased. I sized down as recommended and the fit and comfort are terrific. I can wear them all day in the office with no problem and they kept my feet dry in the elements. Definitely going to try another pair with a little more protection for next winter!

The gumshoe is a great product! My last pair lasted nearly 20 years, until I finally broke my long-term relationship with them and decided to buy a new pair. Breaking up is hard to do, but loving my new pair and hoping they last another 20 years!

Finally shoes that are truly waterproof. I would have liked the tread to be a little deeper for traction in the snow and ice but for wet weather, they are just fine. A quality product.

I am very happy with the purchase. Keeps my feet dry and looks good doing it. The availability of wide width makes the shoe very comfortable.

Of course they are perfect now, they are new. I will let you know after a few years.
