I purchased the Clifton 9's for my dad for Father's Day. He is a a fan of Nike / Skechers sneakers but to my surprise he really liked the Hoka Clifton 9. He finds them to be very comfortable and great for walking.

Clifton8 wasn't a true wide shoe, the insoles were too narrow and gave me blisters. The Clifton9 has fixed this issue and also made the shoe a true "Wide Toe Box" shoe Clifton9 is an awesome shoe. Every other shoe I wear a 10.0 to 10.5 US, in the Clifton I wear a 9.0

I bought these shoes for running since my Son had bought some a year ago and he really liked them. I am very impressed with the comfort and my improved performance running in these shoes.

So, I've been a Nike AirMax 360, Vapormax, and Vapormax Plus, and AirMax 720 shoe person, pretty much since they came out! I have multiple yearsstylesetc. I had a friend recommend trying Hoka. I REALLY made fun of him! I tried a pair with the 30 day guaranteefiguring I had nothing to lose! WOW! I haven't purchased a pair of Nike shoes since! I've pretty much worn the soles of the first pair I bought! Now, I have multiple pairs of Hokasmy wifemy MomALL have multiple pairs! I work out in them, referee multiple sports in them, work in them Cliftons are my favorite, but I own 3 or 4 different styles also! People ask me what they feel like? My response."Like walking on a cloud!" Enough said!

So start by saying I'm an avid runner. I've ran in many different kind of shoes, and it always gravitated towards new balance. I thought I would try something new and different as everyone says how wonderful and amazing the shoes are. They are great, they are light and fairly comfortable. However, I don't feel that they give any more cushioning or support then New balances that I've run in the past or Nike or ASICS.

Feels good for running

I use these shoes for work. I'm on concrete at a warehouse for10 hours a day. I average around 10k steps in a day, most of the time more. I'm a believer in Hoka now. I wish they made a waterproof hiking boot. The hype is real with Hoka! This may be the best pair of shoes that I've ever owned. Time will tell if the durability of the shoe will hold up and last.

I have OA of my big to joint and this is the only shoe I've found (aside from a pair of golf shoes) that doesn't aggravate it. My other tennis/running shoes feel really hard now and immediately cause me pain.

I've always struggled to find shoes that fit comfortably because i have wide flat feet. Thankfully Hoka offers "wide" sizes and the fit is perfection. It took a little getting used to because the soles are so thick but it's life changing! Originally bought for work because i walk a lot but now i plan on getting another Hoka shoe for my everyday walking/workouts.

I use these shoes for everyday casual running. Very comfortable and well fitting.

Walk all day in them

I walk 2-10 miles a day at 70 years old. These shows are great. Several pairs.

I work in a NYC airport. I see thousands of travelers wearing these shoes. I read a few reviews, and decided to try them. Glad I did! This is truly the best trainer (sneaker for Americans). The fit was perfect, and the style and colour spot on. I bought the model "Clifton 9". It has a slight "rocking" feel to the sole. In any other trainer, I need to wear othodics, due to heel spurs. Not these. I am amazed and a new Hoka fan!

The cushioning on these shoes are very comfortable. However, they're wide is a little narrower than what I am accustomed to. I am still trying to break them in after two weeks. If I wear a thinner sock, it is a little easier to wear. But I prefer a slightly thicker sock.

I ordered these shoes for my new job because I walk 26,000 steps a night and I am so glad I did. I absolutely love them. I feel like I am walking on marshmallows. They are so cushy and soft but yet I feel supported. I wore them the first day for 28 hours straight due to my schedule. It wasn't until the 26th hour that my feet started to bother me and at that point, whose feet wouldn't be bothering them. I never would have made it with my old shoes. Thank you Hoka for making such an incredible shoe.

I am a woman who usually wears a woman's size 11wide, which is always hard to find with decent selections. While browsing the men's Hoka shoes, I tried on a pair that I liked in a men's 9.5D. They were perfect! I have neuropathy in both feet and usually I can't wait to get my sneakers off at the end of the day. I am a teaching assistant, so I am on my feet all day. It is now 9:30pm and I still have them on! I also had a total left knee replacement 6 months ago and really needed a shoe that helps with my heel-toe stride. This shoe exceeds all of my expectations.

These are the 5th pair of Cliftons I've purchased. As always, the shoes are very comfortable. Fits just right.

I purchased thinking I would fall in love with this pair (Clifton 9). But I went for a 3 mile walk and I am not sure. Definitely a cushy ride, but something seems amiss. Seems to pinch (near heel) in a couple of spots but roomy in others (toes). Now that I wore once can I send back for a refund (if even possible) or shoe I just keep wearing and hope for the best??? Perhaps a different model would achieve the high level of comfort that I heard people rave about.

I'm a senior walking. These shoes are easy on the knees and ankles.

I recently purchased my first pair of HOKA's (Clifton 9) via in-store purchase at a local store (Run Fit Sports) They did an excellent job in fitting me into a proper shoe. I'm 55, running is no longer in my repertoire of physical activities. But I do walk 3-miles 5 days a week. And these shoes feel great. So much so I sought out the HOKA website just so I can buy a 2nd pair. I personally like having at least two pairs of activity shoes for rotation purposes. Makes them last a bit longer, at least I think it does.

I have foot problems! So, my podiatrist recommended I try Hoka. So, I bought my first pair in 2019 from a brick and mortar store. If wear them a lot - and finally, after 4 years they show signs of wear and tear. So, I went directly to the Hoka site, bought a pair closest to the pair I already have. I got the color I wanted, the size I needed, and they arrive ahead of schedule too. Since buying this pair, I decided I wanted more! So, I bought anther pair - a different style, and went with one of those multicolor pairs. I love these shoes.
