Other than the squishing niose with every step, I love them so far. I spent a lot of time before choosing the Clifton 9 , I went with the plain colors, avoiding all the flash. Love thecushion, hope it helps with the plantar fibroma knots.

I use them for daily walking around, as well as any running that I do. I'm trying to get back into shape to complete a half marathon and lose some weight. Having shoes that balance and support my low arches really helps.

I have always been a Nike guy (bought my first pair in 1978), but after suffering a stress fracture last fall my podiatrist recommended Hoka. I walk 4 miles 5 days a week, and I am amazed at the amount of support these give my feet. They are tremendous!!

Learning how to walk again. Heel seems much higher than I'm usesd to. They are comfortable though.

Been running in the Clifton's since the 6 and these are the BEST yet. I normally wear an 11.5 in running shoes, I had to go to an 11 in Clifton 9. Still my favorite shoe.

Bought the shoes for my husband who is a large man and has wide feet - The shoes hurt his feet and he has tried both pairs that I bought and worn them each for 1 week and nothing has changed = he hates them.

My husband has foot issues, Morton's Neuroma, and finding anything that is comfortable for very long is nearly impossible. He likes these shoes a lot, and can go longer by far without having to remove a shoe and rub his foot. So, he is very pleased with them!

I like the shoes although they feel wider than the last pair of Clinton 8s I had. Beefier. But maybe it's just the colors.

I use this pair when I Am umpiring baseball and softball I leve how comfortable they are. They make long days easier on my feet.

The Clifton 9 is a plush shoe that fits well.

Second pair for me. A different style. First pair for walk outside. Second pair for training

Been running only for a few years. First pair of Hoka and now I'm hooked. These are the best running shoe I've had yet. Fit perfect, great support, springy and comfortable miles. I might buy a second pair to have another one on deck

Soft & very comfortable with stability. I can walk forever in these. Love the bright colors too!!! My first pair & I"ll be getting more.

My first pair and they are great. I can really feel the cushioning in the heal area as my foot strikes the ground. I find them very comfortable.

I thought the Clifton 8 were amazing, soft cushioned recovery sneakers. Boy, was I wrong. I was going to buy another Clifton 8 but wanted all black. I hesitated but bought the 9s. Now I want to buy Clifton 9s in every color!

I like the stability of the shoe and it seems to help me with my leg problems. I have a wide foot and EE usually works. Next pair will be EEE if they make them.

Have run in several versions of the Clifton including the 8, and this is my favorite. More stack but lighter weight. The foam is perfect. I've found previous Clifton's to be too squishy but these are just right imo. Have about 40 miles in them and haven't experienced any issues. The toe box feels slightly more accommodating than the 8 to me. No hots spots in the upper. It's definitely not a speed day shoe, but then the Clifton never has been that shoe for mejust a great all-arounder.

I normally wear a size 7.5. This 7.5 wide feels a hair long but doable. Next time will try a 7. A different feel compared to what I was used to but so far I like.

Super comfortable with just the right amount of support. I've put about 50 miles in with this pair and so far it's holding up well. I would liked a better selection of colors to choose from, but their okay looking. The only negative is the bottom of the show does not grip very well. When I run on the treadmill the shoes can be quite slick if they get wet from sweat. The rubber seems to be the wrong rubber for grip. There also seems to be too much foam exposed on the bottom. I occasionally clean the bottoms with soap & water which helps. Otherwise I have really enjoyed the Clifton 9.
