Love how light they are. Arch support was good but i need the best or better. Lots of other support but I was expecting more cushioning, particularly in the heel.

The padding is comfortable. However the shoe is meant to be neutral but is for pronators s it pushes the foot inwards. My Achilles tendons were aching too.

Great shoe especially if you have metatarsal issues.

I usually wear a women's10 in sport shoes. Lately I feel they run too narrow in the toes for me, especially if I have them on most of the day for some serious walking. My podiatrist recommended HOKA but not a specific style so I am starting from ground 0. I called and asked for some help and was told one way to try a little wider is to order a men's shoe and that 9 should be my men's size. I ordered the Clifton and it was a bit long and too narrow. I have returned/exchanged for a men's Arahi 8.5 in wide EE so we shall see. I have to say that when I put the Cliftons on, the first thing I noticed was the soft footbed. second, my left heel was sliding off to the left, third, they became too tight in the toes after10-15 minutes in the house. PS: my favorite look of all the HOKA shoes is the Cotopaxi Breeze but it does not come in wide sizes. That is very frustrating to me. Please make more of them in men's Wide.

Great running shoe for high volume training and running. Very well cushioned, great fit and comfort. This is my second pair of Cliftons, and I also use the Rincon. Cliftons for training, and Rincons for racing. I highly recommend both/either shoe, particularly for longer runs.

Clifton 9 is mighty fine

These shoes are just what the doctor ordered! Extremely comfortable, light weight and perfect for my imperfect feet!

Shoes were comfortable. Having a bunion on one foot makes buying shoes that fit without pain difficult. The Hoka wide was a perfect fit for both my feet!

I really wanted to like these shoes. When I first put them on I could tell they could be very good, comfortable shoes. I usually buy Skechers so I used the TruFit app on their website to make sure I got the right size. I get a regular size 13 in skechers based in that I was told I would need a regular size 13 for these shoes. It is not even close. The shoes are narrow and short compared to the Skechers I wear. The first few days I wore then they seemed fine, but as I did more walking in them the poor fit started manifesting and these quickly became very uncomfortable shoes across the top of my foot and at my toes. Hoping I can get my money back, Mayne exchange for a different pair.

My husband has very bad feet. A lot of pain. Hoka allows him to work all day. Its a game changer for him.

Bought these for my husband and he really likes them. He's been bothered by plantar fasciitis and needed better support.

The fit was perfect and there was no break-in period required. The Clifton 9 is indeed my favorite shoe.

I really love how comfortable these shoes are. I wear a wide size and have troudle buying shoes that fit well and I am very pleased with the fit of these Hoka's.

I have a history of flat, wide feet, and because of that I have lots of trouble finding comfortable shoes, these shoes blew me away! Now that they are broken in, they are some of the most comfotable shoes I have ever purchased, my only mistake was not getting a slightly larger size, as they were slightly uncomfotable/too narrow when I first got them.

I recently purchased the Bondi 8 and had to return them because the fit was not comfortable. Too much space in the toe area and felt oversized. I then ordered the Clifton 9 and was extremely pleased with the way this sneaker fit right out of the box So much more comfortable than the Bondi 8 and easy to break in.

These are the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. The outside souls of the shoes look cheap. Definitely don't see what the hype is over these shoes. They make your feet look huge.

It's been only a few weeks since I purchased these but I can safely say I have found the best shoes so far. I wore it for Grand canyon and Disneyland where I had to walk the entire day and I didn't feel a lot of pain or discomfort. The fit is amazing and the cushioning is imperial. I have a wide flat feet and 10.5 extra wide fits me perfect. Loving it so far. 4 stars because I'm yet to experience the longevity.

Tried two different models and both gave me discomfort in the arch of my right foot. Kept feeling a digging, sharp pain on my right arch and realized it's the just the way the models were designed. Both models were wide width and still experienced that discomfort.

I'm a custodian at a school, I walk 18000 tp 20000 steps a day, only she I can wear for my Feet

This is my first pair of Hoka shoes, and I'm glad I tried them! They are incredibly comfortable - I had no issues with them straight out of the box. Plenty of cushion, but they're plenty responsive in my opinion. Definitely a comfortable pair of shoes for all my workout needs.

I've owned the Clifton 8 shoes and absolutely loved them. I loved them so much that I ordered the Arahi 6 and the Gaviotas. I love all of them for different reason and for different activities. Once my Clifton 8's wore down I went to order another pair and saw there was a new edition - the Clifton 9, that made improvements to the Clifton 8. I ordered them and upon Receiving them was already not happy with the stiffer feel of the exterior material. After wearing them for about a week and realized they are not as supportive in my opinion and feel much cheaper overall to their predecessor. After having them a little while now the sole is already wearing out and a piece of the tread peeled off. I love Hokas but am extremely dissatisfied in the quality, comfort, and integrity of this new arrival of the Clifton 9
