I purchased my Clifton 9 shoes as everyday walking/work shoes. Very light weight. Great cushioning. As expected, Hoka quality lives up to their reputation. Very comfortable to wear. So good I ordered a second pair!

Usually way the Biondi thought I'd try the Clifton Initial results appear to be good after the first week will see what longer use brings

First pair I received were not made correctly. Left shoe tilted to inside extremely noticeable when walking. Return without any questions and replaced immediately. The replacement pair are extremely comfortable and have redeemed themselves.

I usually run about 3-4 times a week and 3-4 miles each time around the neighborhood and paved bike paths and this shoe has been pretty comfortable so far. It has good cushioning and support and a nice spring when I run. The only thing I don't like is I feel it runs about a half size too small. Other than that they are great.

I don't have any complaints with the shoes. They are great.

Yeah, not much to say.. I think this is likely one of the best running shoes out there for anyone who wants a safe and solid experience. Perhaps more advanced runners may want something different / lighter, but I think that will be very few. Even then, for base runs this is great!

I use Clifton 8s for walking and started using them for golf. I bought the 9 so I'll have a dedicated pair of golf shoes. Regarding my pricey Adidas (real) golf shoes, using the Hoka's answers the question: "If my golf shoes are comfortable, why does it feel so good to take them off at the end of a round?"

For work and walking

This was intended as an everyday walking shoe. The toe box is narrower than on my Hoka leather Bondi shoes. I get a slight rub on the insides of my big toes, which, fortunately, are already calloused. I have compared the new shoes to the Bondi model, and they are visibly narrower.

Fit is great, very comfortable. These are daily wearers for me. Heel is softer than I'm used to, but adapted quickly.

My husband and family love HOKA! If you want to walk on clouds all day long buy them!

Bought these for my husband. I love Hoka trainers and have worn them for years. Surprised my husband with these and he promptly donated all his other trainers. They are fabulous.

They just felt a bit tight compared to others. But I wear a bid shoe, size 15 wide. I think I may have to go a bit wider. But I do like the shore and would buy again.

I really like the Clifton 9s. Word of warning - There was a site advertised on MSN for Hoka shoes on sale. It looked very much like a site to sell last years models. Since i liked shoe i ordered a Clifton 8 for my wife, they did not have my size. This was 2 months ago - no shoes. So be careful where you purchase these. -

I like my first pair of HOKA's. They are awesome.

I wear a 10 in every shoe I've ever owned, but this one was narrow and also tight in the toe. Sent them back to try a size 10.5.

It took me a little while to get used to the extra height and cushioning provided by the shoe. But it is very comfortable to wear and walk in all day. I purchased the all black model and so I use it when I go to semi-formal events and no one notices them at all. I can see these shows being of use for hospitality workers who have to stand long hours on their feet. I normally purchase Extra Wide (4E) athletic shoes but the toe box of this Hoka Clifton Wide (2E) shoe is wide enough for my requirements. Despite the bulkiness of the shoe it is extremely light. Only time will tell how durable the shoe is, but it seems to be very well constructed.

Good but not as "cushiony" as Bindi which I prefer.

I have been wearing my Clifton's for a couple of months and they fit great for someone like myself who has wide feet. Of course I purchased the wide version. The upper is very comfortable and breaths decent enough. There is lots of cushion in the midsole and feels very nice under foot. I am starting to see some wear on the outsole already but nothing too serious...and I don't really understand why the tongue is only gusseted on one side. I causes the tongue to move to the gusseted side of the shoe. But overall they are a good purchase, maybe on version 10 they will gusset both sides? We will have to wait and see I guess.

I took a chance and ordered these sneakers. Normally I am a 15EEE but Hoka only has 14EEE or 15EE but my friend send they run wider than the average shoe. They are a great pair of shoes and I am really enjoying them. I do notice the EE and it a little more snug than I am used to, but that is not effecting my wearing of these shoes.

Left Brooks Ghost and Glycerin's for these and absolutely love them so far. Have only 15 miles or so on them and expect to have many more by the end of the summer!
