Left Brooks Ghost and Glycerin's for these and absolutely love them so far. Have only 15 miles or so on them and expect to have many more by the end of the summer!

needs larger /wider toe box

I need shoes that absorb shock and are comfortable and the Clifton 9does the job very nicely.

I have some ARAHI 6 that I love, thought these would be even better. I can't move my toes in them which is super annoying.

Great everyday shoes, that are comfortable. Also, great to wear, during long walks with my dog.

Shoes started to squeak after about a week. Not sure what the issue is.

Walking support

I use the shoes for walking daily after work on a blacktop walking trail. Roughly 3 miles per day. The soles started shredding after only about give or take 110 miles of walking. I generally wear out the outside treads on most shoes/boots. These wore badly on the inside heel and made my foot start pitching in as I walk. Which has never been the case. I'm currently trying to figure out how to return them. They were awesome for about a 1 1/2 months. Loved my 8's and they didn't wear like this.

Bought the Clifton 9, so comfortable and light weight! Took off for 5.5 mile run once got and felt awesome with no issues like blisters etc.

Back of the shoe seems pretty big and sizing seems big

I really like these shoes. They are well-made, lightweight, comfortable, and fun to wear.

Left shoe on outside sole was missing blue paint. Right shoe outside sole has large crease.

Purchased for walking and treadmill running. A great shoe.

For a number of years I used new balance 847 V3 as my preferred walking shoe. However, subsequent design of the V4 left me very disappointed. I continued to rotate my three pairs of V3s but eventually they needed to be replaced. In my walks around Santa Monica, I noticed that a lot of people were wearing Hokas for walking. I actually stopped people and asked them how they like the shoe and response was overwhelmingly positive. I then found out that my older daughter has been using Hokas for both running and walking and she like them a lot. At my daughters advice, I visited a dedicated running store. They put me through some gate analysis, and then recommended free shoes, one of which was Hokas. It took a little while to get used to them, because I felt that I was a few millimeters higher above the ground than I was with my new balance, but after a very short period of time, I was able to adapt. I've really enjoy using them on my 5 mile walks around Santa Monica, which I take twice a week. The shoes are so well designed, that I also use them as an every day shoe. I purchased another two pair.

Had some Nike shoes with a toe box that was way too narrow for my foot. Always in pain after about twenty minutes. My Cliftons are super comfortable. Got them in wide "EE" size. Just perfect for walking anytime. Not too pretty to look at, but the grey pair is nice enough.

Clifton 9 is a good shoe it is my everyday wear for work been wearing Hoka for 4 years work on concrete floors in a grocery store hope these last and hold up

4th pair I have owned, and I have loved all of them. I had to return the first pair and change styles due to fit but the process was easy and now that I have locked in on the style and fit that I like. I am extremely satisfied. Great customer service on my first return and a wonderful experience with on-line ordering the next three pairs. If you haven't tried these shoes I strongly recommend doing so.

These shoes have definitely stabilized my gate and walking ability. My knees feel better at age 81. The cushioning is extremely comfortable. The arch support actually supports my arches. Thank you HOKA

I'm always hesitant to buy shoes online but these fit great right out of the box. Looking forward to see how many miles I can put on them.

Need to make more wide extra wide shoes for a better choice of product

Loved the Clifton 8. Made significant changes to the 9. Doesn't look like the Clifton's I've had before and a little bulkier.

Very comfortable and perfect for my needs. I was looking for a pair of shoes to wear for long periods of standing/walking and they have been great so far. My only complaint is the lack of a size 13.5 option. Would give 4.5 if I could. However, I love the wide option.

These shoes are everything as advertised. They are incredibly comfortable & supportive.
