This is the 3rd pair I've bought. Since the other two were the same size and width I felt comfortable ordering online. This pair seems narrower and hurts my feet to wear for more than a couple of hours.

They squeeze the "knuckle" part of my foot making them uncomfortable for long wear. Foot and toe length are good.

Love how light they are, for a run they feel fluffy, super comfortable for walking, I have few runs on these and still not 100% convinced, but also not disappointed.

Loved this shoe color scheme, just had some trouble with sizing since im a woman trying to get it in men's sizes. I'm currently waiting on a shipment of the next size up. I wish HOKA would make the same colors available in both gender categories, but it looks like 8.5 in women's translates to 7.5 in men's at least! All in all, the Clifton line is stupendous. I'm a diehard Mach 5 fan, but a close second is the Clifton. Bit stiffer than plush, but very responsive. I mainly walk roght now, but I'm trying to build up to a jogging state, and then start to run. HOKA is giving me exactly what I need to do so.

Ordered a 12 and 12.5 and kept the 12.5; have always worn a 12 in the past but had a feeling these may run on the small side which is why I ordered both sizes.

I stand 1/2 if my work day and walk about 2.5 miles during the shift. These are very comfortable, but they definitely feel like platform sneakers. Even with the breathable fabric up top the shoes get very warm on the bottom of the feet. I spend all day in a cool building with great AC. About 3/4 through the shift I want to take them off for a minute to cool my feet, but not due to discomfort. I wear wide shoes, but their wife is still a little tight on the sides; this is something I don't experience in other wise running shoes. Overall the size seems true. I tried these on in-person. I used to run a lot, and I think I'd still prefer a lower profile shoe for stability whilst running. The elastic strip holding the tongue in place helps a bit. I've had mine about a week or so now. If this isn't a big expense for you, I'd try them. If it's on the expensive side for you, I'd probably find comparable comfort in another brand.

I really liked the look of this shoe & it was comfortable. But, I need more depth in the toe box. I have the hoka bondi and that one is perfect for standing at work for 9 hrs and still being able to walk without pain.
I'd also recommend:
Birkenstock

I am a nurse in a hospital setting our department is on our feet 8 out of the 10 hours we typically work. This style, with the low profile treads, is ideal for traction, comfort, and while the foam is so choice those first 5-7 months, I wish I didn't have to replace them at less than 1 year of use. I have to order 1/2 size bigger and in Wide. So glad we have an old fashioned show store in town that helped me get the proper size.

The shoes are amazing! I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis and haven't been able to find any relief until now. They were recommended by my podiatrist, and I've seen a lot of nurses wearing them. I shopped online and was disappointed by the styles. They look clunky. I was hesitant to get them for vanity reasons, but I needed help! I ordered them a half size larger because the other brand I've been wearing felt a little small. I thought more room would be better, just to be safe. Well they came and I still think they look clunky but they feel incredible!!! I work 10 and 12 hour shifts on my feet all night long, and my pain level is getting lower every night that I wear them! They run really big, though. They're huge on my feet. I'm just afraid to go without them for a couple of weeks while I return them for an exchange. I definitely recommend them to anyone who works on their feet for long periods and/or has foot pain, but order them a little smaller. And ignore the clunky style. Get your favorite color and rock them like diamonds. They're so worth it!

Shoes are beautiful and seem like they would be very comfortable if you have normal to narrow feet. I have wide feet with high arches and ordered 2E in width, these just did not fit my feet. This model, as with many other Hoka’s, is just too narrow fitting for me. I’ll stick to New Balance.

Great comfort but can do without the orange color. Would have been a beautiful shoe if the tongue and Hoka name were blue. But bought them anyway because I love my other pair of Clifton 8.

For me this shoe is responsive, comfortable and durable. I am already looking for a 2nd pair. The sole makes it easy to put in a lot of miles. It makes you want to run.

Replaced my Clifton 8's and enjoying them more each day. I'm very satisfied, but I enjoyed the Clifton 8 equally as well and they felt as if they had a bit more cushion which I enjoy due to knee pain.

I thought the New Balance 993 was the pinnacle of comfort...I was wrong. Hoka shoes (I have several different models now) are more comfortable AND look amazing (not like grandpa shoes).

Although these are the most comfortable shoe I've worn, they didn't last but a few months before the soles started peeling. I walk in a dealership all day for work. I will be ordering another pair to see if this is common.
