It was bought as a gift-but not worth the money-so purchased something else

I own 15 Triple Zips, this isn't up to Vera quality. Metal zipper is hard to use. The bottom width is like a sleeve, no side gusset for added space. I buy this style so I can change my purse without changing the location of my contents. I am disappointed with this purchase. I think I need a break from your products. I order on line, no Vera store within a reasonable distance. It is a hassle for me to return. I have seen the quality of your bags decline, while the price went up.

I bought the Triple Zip Hipster in July of 2019. At first, it was a great everyday bag, but after a little while, it started to wear down. Within a month it had big spots of dirt on it. I put it through the wash because it was cover in dirt, but it only came out of the wash the same way it went in. With dirt! I also want to say that this bag is very narrow. It may look big but don't let that deceive you! It does not hold a lot. If you are somebody that needs to carry a bit more than what this bag is made for, may I recommend that you get a medium-sized tote bag instead? I have now officially moved on from Vera Bradley and have bought myself a medium-sized leather tote that holds everything I need. It's a month since I bought it and I can say that's still in really good condition. Nonthing like how my triple zip hipster was a month after I purchased it. Don't waste your money on Vera Bradley. Go out and buy yourself a nice leather purse that will last you for many years to come.

Bought this thinking it was the same as the triple zip hipster but with metal zippers. Instead they totally redesigned it making it smaller than the original. The bottom doesn't expand. Doesn't come close to holding all the stuff in my current triple zip. Very displeased and will return it.

I have several triple zips. I can change my bag and still find everything without looking through all the compartments. I have a special place for every thing, and it stays the same with every pattern. I do not like the metal zipper, it is difficult to slide. I will return the latest one because of the zipper. Please bring back the plastic zipper, or at least give us a choice.

I like the pattern. The organization of triple zipper is good the bag is too small. I have the older one it was bigger. The outer material has no body. The older bag was thicker and more sturdy. I don't think I will buy Vera Bradley again. Very disappointed.

Vera Bradley has replaced the nice color coordinated zipper with metal zippers that stick on the first try. Luckily I have a few VB bags that have great quality before the decision to change to the annoying metal zippers. Hopefully they will realize the error & go back to the quality they were known for!

I love the tropical pattern but was disappointed that the one I received had no turtles on it (which is the main reason I chose this purse). Also the dimensions advertised were incorrect. The purse I received was 10 X 10.75 which is smaller than advertised. Zippers do not work consistently either.

I don't like metal zippers, they never seem to work smoothly. The upper pocket is larger and appears that it works take up space of the main cavity. I returned it, sure hope the zippers nylon again. Overall, the purse is longer and slimmer so it would stay close to your body.

Design is good. Quality is not at all what my previous bags are - same design. Zippers on this one are cheap - hard to open and close- keep getting stuck, not at all smooth action. Fabric is not as soft and pliable as previously. Just a bit less room - which makes a huge difference, on the negative side. Will not purchase another triple zip cross body again and doubt if I will purchase another Vera Bradley product.

I have several Vera Bradley items, all of them making me happy. This item was very disappointing, however. I could not even wear it once. I tried,and after a few minutes, I had to take it off as it was really cutting into my neck. I cannot figure out how to keep it on the shoulder and not slide into the neck. Yes, I tried using the adjusting belt on the handle. The worst thing is that I bought one for my daughter-in-law as well. This can't be going well.

`The hipster is a stylish and useful bag. However, the metal zippers look ugly and the shoulder straps do not stay adjusted. I tried to adjust it from a shoulder strap to a hand held bag and the straps keep sliding. I'm very disappointed in the Vera hipster. I'm trying to say something positive about this bag and I'll say I like the owl print.

I thought when I saw the printed lining in the pictures that Vera had gone back to the cotton linings. No. This is probably my last purchase until the quality goes back to what it used to be, also the bulky zippers are not nice. Used to be a big Vera fan.

Metal zippers look cheap! I was very eager to get the holiday owls since it has been a long time since vera did a holiday pattern. Very disappointed.

I have a previous version of this bag. Unfortunately, this one was returned. I do not like the exposed zippers on the front of the bag. They take away from the beautiful pattern. Please stop making changes to the iconic items that were so beautiful in the past.

I have about 5 of the older version of the Triple Zip Hipster. I wanted the butterfly print and I got it at a store closeby. When I went to change from my original Triple Zip Hipster to the Iconic Triple Zip Hipster I knew immediately it was changed. Yes, the front two zipper compartments are changed, but the real change is this purse is smaller!! It is now too tight to use. I liked it because it is a lighter purse to carry in the summer and it is roughly the same size as the Triple Zip Mailbag that I carry in the winter, but this is now not a good fit. They have ruined a good handbag with these changes. Why mess with something that has always been a bestseller? Very disappointed.

I have eight triple zip hipsters. It is all I carried. I am so upset that you changed it. It is nowhere near the bag it was. Please go back to original size. Cannot figure out why you took the perfect bag and made it smaller. It was perfect before but not now!

I was so disappointed that Vera went back to using the cheap zippers on the outside of this bag. The pockets and crossbody style is great. The outside zippers make the entire bag look cheap. Not worth the price now.

This is my favorite purse style and this is a great pattern. However this particular purse is not quite the quality of the many other bags that I have purchased. There were many loose threads in various places on the bag. The top part of the purse (by the zipper) is flimsy, where it should be sturdy.

I bought this bag as a birthday present to myself. So excited cause I loved the pattern so much. It took me back to the 60s and 70s. So I got it. I get that people were not happy with the black nylon lining they were putting in everything. All they needed to do is brighten up that material. Crossbody bags with black lining is hard to see in it.I had no problem with that material as lining it just needed to be a bright color not black. So they up the price 10$ give a pattern lining. Do away with the nice construction. Make the bag smaller. My bag did not have a 56 inch strap. It had only a 53 or 52.. What I got I feel it was a defected one that should have shipped to a outlet store. Needless to say not a nice birthday. . And I am semding it back.
