Much lighter weight than I expected. There was no way to know this from the website

I thought it would be a more substantial flannel but it is not. I will keep it but look for a heavier robe elsewhere. I replaced an only one from several years back and it was considerably heavier.

Not as warm as expected. Fabric is a lightweight flannel. Not heavy enough for my husband. This is to replace one he bought in the past which was much more substantial. Also, there should be a solid color fabric available.

I just purchased a flannel robe for my husband. I'm disappointed. The fabric is thin, price was too high, and it took forever to get here. I could have driven to Maine in less time than the shipping took. There was no communication about arrival so that made it a bit stressful.

I ordered the robe based on the color shown on line. I knew the quality would be good. It does not have near the yellow as i expected. I know bolts of fabric can be a bit different but not the same as shown on the internet.

Seemed like the Flannel was thinner than should be for the price, therefore summer only for us. Looks and fit were good.

The robe is much thinner than expected. The colors are great, and the size is fine, but it is not a winter-weight robe. :(

I returned it. Not happy with the quality of the material. It is thin and the flannel feel is very poor. I don't buy from LL Bean anymore, because that is usually my experience now. The pattern was attractive and the design, but without a good quality material, it's not something I want.

Purchased this robe, although its the LLBean quality it was definitely a different collection of colors then whats on the internet. I went online several time to look at this robe to check the color choices and decided on this one. When it was delivered, I thought the wrong robe was sent since the colors were nothing like what was on the internet. I intended to return it but thought about it and decided to keep it since there were no other color/patterns that I liked.

Soft enough but just seems like a slab of cloth. No particular fitting. Seems like there is no effort to make something fun to get into. As I said, just a slab of cloth.

I used the size chart as always, but the sleeves needed to be tripled up and the length way too long. Normally I've used the size chart and it worked, but not with robe. Fits shoulders and upper body fine, but shoulder to waist much too long. Kept it but not worth sending back. Will have it altered.

Robe is nice but much too lightweight. Previous versions of the robe are much more substantial.

Not like the old ones, made of thin fabric. Doubt it will last much longer than a year

This is nothing against this robe. In fact it's still in the package. I haven't decided if I want it or not. the reason: I've had the same rob, but lined, for many years. I live in Alaska and the summers are never too hot for my robe, which I dearly love. I was pretty disappointed when this one came unlined. I'm probably going to accept it, as my other is completely wearing out. It's seen a lot of wear. I may have to have a funeral service for it! I also have one of your robes that is fleece lined. I wear it in the dark days of December and January. But because the lining is whitish It shows the dirt and coffeefood stains more, thus I have to wash it more.

My second of this style. Comfortable and warm, but this one is lesser quality that my old LLB robe. First one lasted 8 years, but the flannel on the new robe is pilling after a few months.

The robe fit well.........However the flannel was flimsy and not as warm as I had expected..........The one that I had ordered several years ago was a thicker flannel. I would not recommend the robe to anyone...........

This robe is the second one I have purchased from LL Bean. I am a little disappointed in that the fabric is not nearly as thick as my previous purchase. when I ordered the second robe I thought I would be getting the same item. The grey Stewart plaid is not even the same pattern.

This is not a winter robe. It's very thin- more like a flannel shirt so beware that warm clothes will need to be worn under it in cold weather. Otherwise a nice item with nicely done personalized lettering. Fits my 6' 6" slender husband well. Disappointed in how thin it is.

This is the second time I have had to return this exact robe. Cuff came off sleeve on both robes. Only worn during winter months. The rest of the robe is perfect.

Nice robe, but material is not as thick as my last LL Bean robe. I would prefer that LL Bean retains the quality that has kept me a loyal customer for more than 20 years, even if that means raising the prices.

I had wanted a heavier material. You can see through this. If you want a summer robe, I guess this is it.

I sent the robe back. It was far lighter than I expected. It is basically shirt-weight flannel and felt like a flannel shirt with a super long tail. I gave it a 3 because it was well made. When I spoke with someone from LLBean, he game me the dope on material weight compared with other robes. That information should be part of the item description for all the robes.
