The fabric is soft and warm, though a little thin compared to previous Bean robes. My husband loves it.

This is a nice robe. The flannel is very soft and the robe overall fits well and is nice and warm.

Bought the XXLT as a very tall and slightly large person. The material is thinner than expected, but that's not necessarily bad. It's great for even slightly chilly weather.I initially thought it was pretty giant, but it has had a week or two to conform to my body and doesn't have that boxy straight out of the packaging look anymore. The breast pocket is a great feature for pipes or vapes, but mine seems to be a little low. Still functional, the only true caveat is the price. Yeah it's 70$ or so, but to get anything quickly from ll bean requires about an extra 20$. I had heard rave reviews about this robe from a lot of sources and think that it holds up for the most part, and hopefully ages well.

Nice all the way around!! I'm 6'2" and 180, I got an extra large to have more room. Wish the Tall length was about 6-8" longer, as it hits right below my knee. Material is not too heavy or too lightweight for the Oklahoma spring, summer and fall

Fit is good. Fabric weight is right for a warm natured guy like myself.

It was okay. I have nothing previous to compare it to, but some reviews have said it is flimsy...I don't know. I didn't feel like it would rip or anything, but it is not necessarily premium thick flannel material either. I'd say 3.5 stars. The picture makes it look more grey/light, but I found the color to be more red and green than I expected, vs gray. I ended up returning, and bought a different robe elsewhere -- different company, a lot better quality, but higher price. For me personally, the difference between the two was obvious immediately, and totally worth it. I'm really glad I opted for the one I have now. Still, I think this could be a good cheaper option for some folks. Even though I think it could maybe be about 20-30 bucks cheaper, given what it seems to be.

Fit fine ,,,BUT...tiny black "pills" got all over the clothes the robe covered. It and the effected clothes needed to be washed to rid the "pilling,"

I like this robe, the color, the fact that it's flannel the only reason I didn't give it five stars was for the price I wish the material was a little bit heavier. I ordered the tall size and the sleeve length was perfect for me. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

It is a very nice looking robe. But it is very thin flannel so you don't have the softness that a thicker flannel has. When you hold up to the light it does not block. You can see how thin the flannel is. If it wasn't so close to Christmas, I would have returned it. L L Bean has always had such quality but this is more like a $30 tone. I am very disappointed.

Great quality, a bit shorter than expected for the price. Bought the lined robe for my husband a few years ago & it was longer I thought. Turns out the lined robe was too warm for Alabama, but he kept it in case we move again as we have lived several places. This robe is the correct weight for him, but he's used to a bit more length. Truly likes the plaid! I was concerned it might be too bright but seems toned down just enough; not quite as bright as internet picture.

Warm and comfortable, medium fit 5'8" but a tad oversized. Probably better fit than a small.

It is great, except shedding lint the first time we washed it. However, will mention, that the two sweat pants that we purchased from you in October, shed terribly! We had to wash and dry them multiple times and use a sticky roller to get the lint off each time. And, they still shed some when washed. Is there something inferior about this cotton you are purchasing? Thanks for asking and wanting feedback.

Very elegant plaid, warm, and comfy. Great for cool winter mornings and lounging days.

I was hoping it would be a longer robe, otherwise I like the flannel, and keeps my upper body warm.

The flannel robe is well made and fit my husband well. However, he wanted a more substantial material. I returned it and bought the plush robe instead.

My old LL Bean robe--so awesome for twenty years--was alas falling apart. The solid navy was not available so I happily settled for the black watch. To my surprise the flannel was way thinner. (OK, finer.) I am very disappointed. It seems well made and warm enough for my current situation. It's in full use but remains another example of disheartment that things are not what they used to be.

It's awfully big with the liner removed. I still like it though.

This robe is soft, comfortable and lightweight. If you are not looking for the heft of a terrycloth robe, this one is for you.

I read all the reviews about it being thinner, & I agree it's not a super thick robe, but I like that personally. I just replaced one that I had for 10 years! It washed well, is soft & didn't pill in the wash yet. I do think the price is a little steep for what your getting, but if it last just as long I will consider it money well spent!

Roomy, soft and fits well. The fabric is a little lighter than a previous flannel robe so time will tell if it is going to hold up.

Love the robe, so soft. Bought the Men's small instead of a women's size because the flannel is thicker. Love the plaid colors. The flannel could have been thicker yet.
