Heavy, warm, and very comfortable. My husband loves it. Very stylish

I returned the 1/4 zip version after only wearing it 3 times. I bumped into a friend yesterday that had this sweater on. I asked him how he liked it. He said after only wearing it for a year the elbows are already wearing out and the sweater has stretched noticeably. Guess I wont be buying this one either. What happened to the quality L.L. Bean?

The lack of half sizes hurt my comfort with these slippers. I am a 8 1/2 with one foot bigger than the other. I ordered the 9 wide. It's just too long. I'll be OK when I learn to walk differently when I have them on. I'll have to more or less shuffle. When not walking the slippers are extremely comfortable and warm.

Bought this in navy for my picky, hates to shop hubby last season in navy and he liked it so much and wore it so often then and again this year once the weather cooled in October here, that I bought him another one this season in the Wine color. He loves that one too. For context, I think it always helps to know something about the happy customer, he is 5'7 / 32-33 waist / 143#. Retired, likes to dress casually and continue to look 'spiffy' in his 70's. Funny, he had surgery last year and the surgeon even mentioned how well dressed he thought my hubby was when he came in each time. Often it was an LLBean sweater, including this one, and shirt in the mix for that. :-)

Very nice, my husband really liked it. The colors are beautiful and manly, although the sweater is a bit heavy. I just wish it gave a bit more on the size, it seems to be more of a fitted size than classic.

Love the sweater, but I shouldn't have followed Guidelines for proper size. I should have ordered a medium. I'm 5' 10" 175 pounds.

I am 5foot 9inches tall and the sweater was too long , I wear large in my other sweaters. It cost me 22.00 dollars to try on your sweater, I will not be buying your product too expensive to return .

Great, but a little too pricey for a cotton sweater. Cozy and warm though

Love the sweater BUT it leaves little lint "pilling" balls everywhere stuck to chairs and couches; almost impossible to get off.

Fits and looks great. Heavy material and a bit stretchy. Loose knit, so not the best windbreaker outdoors but very cozy indoors or if you're already warm outside. My only complaint is if you wear this sitting and leaning on your elbows at a table or desk the large texture of the knit is a bit rough on the ol elbow skin before long.

I ordered this in large tall, and found it to run a little large. The pockets/waist area flared out a little more than what I was hoping for, and ended up returning it. It was otherwise great quality. I'm 6'4", 230 lbs, 34 waist, 46/48 chest, 36/37 sleeve length. Everything else on this sweater was great.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. The color is super, the fit is good, the sweater material (cotton) is great and the sweater is warm and comfortable. He also wanted a full zip style and is quite happy with it. He wears it very well and I am glad I chose this item as a gift.

Nice comfy sweater, my husband says it's very warm. He normally wears a tall but in this sweater the tall was way too long. We exchanged the tall for a regular XL and the fit is good.

I got the burgundy color and it matches the product photos exactly. Since I have 5 of the similar quarter-zip sweaters in size medium I ordered the size medium for this full zip style. However, this fits almost like a small- the sleeves are skin tight, the body is form-fitting and the seam for the sleeve arm holes is up on top of my shoulders. I checked that it's really a medium and the tag says REG M so I assume it is. There was a medium sticker on the front of the sweater as well. So I don't get the slim fit when the 1/4 zip models are perfect and just a little loose to look like a sweater. You may want to size up if my experience is any indicator of how LL Bean is now making these. For a medium, this is uncomfortable.

Nice looking & cozy sweater to take the chill off around the house. The fabric is good but with line dry instructions (& 100% cotton) I am concerned it will stretch out without taking some care to not hang dry - to shape itnot a problem per se, just somewhat fiddley care that the Laundry Fairy has to keep in mind. But as a gift it was a hit and I'm pretty pleased with the response and to see it worn. But is it possible to create sweaters and other clothing out of mostly natural fibers - minimum 60-75% - that can be machine washed AND dried? Is that too much to ask?

Men's medium tall is my size and most LLBean shirts fit well. This sweater has the right sleeve length but the body is quite long - going well below my waist. I am 6'1" and 155lbs.

I really like this sweater. It will be good outer wear item for the change of seasons period. I just wish it wasn't so big. I used a Beans chamois shirt size to order this and the sweater is sized larger than my shirt.

This sweater is dense. Great for outdoor wear, very warm. Goes with everything.

Very nice sweater but too long and baggy. I own many LLB sweaters and, as a short person, I'm used to them being a bit long, but they fit in the body. This one was too long and too baggy for me. Disappointed because the fabric is very good looking and nice and heavy.

Very pleased with full zipper front and 2 pockets. The weight was heavier than I expected. And I'm uncomfortable the times the collar unexpectedly touches my neck.

Material a bit too heavy in the shoulders...will wear selectively on cold days over other layers...alone causes uncomfortable feeling in the shoulders.

It really is a 4.5 star because its just a touch big. Otherwise 5 stars because of overall quality and looks.

Fit as expected, nice color, interesting knit pattern. Fabric tends to snag on things, though.
