I loved this sweater until I tried to zip it up. The zipper really just doesn't work. I tried treating it with graphite, which worked for a few zips, and then a silicone zipper lubricant, which lasted overnight. Now it's back to balking and inch by inching, if it works at all. The zipper is beautiful, as is the sweater, but it is totally dysfunctional.

I love the sweater. I hate the zipper. I ordered it a month ago and it had a defective zipper. Bean's customer service was great, and shipped me a replacement. The replacement also had a defective zipper. Bean's customer service made it easy to return the second one. I suggest L.L. Bean do a quality check of their inventory, since it is likely a defective batch.

Llbean has gone down the toilet in my opinion. You can't get the same fit when you buy anything. No quality controll. This is my fourth time I have gotten clothes that don't fit the way they are supposed to. Buy the same shirt in the same size just a different color. One fits the other isn't even close. Returns are a hassle. It's ridiculous. This sweater was supposed to be a 3x tall. I'm 6 1/2" and it doesn't even reach my waist. This is also supposed to be a baggey comfortable sweater but it's skin tight.

Returned first purchase because it couldn't be zipped up. Received replacement and had same problem. Upon inspection, I realized the problem. The inside zipper seam overlaps on to the zipper track and gets caught in the zipper pull. I own this sweater in blue, and the inside seam is positioned away from the track.

It was to heavy and to big so I sent it back. 3 weeks later I got a credit card bill that show that I bought it but there was no credit for it. I called LLBean and was told they didn't know if it was received.

Does not hold it shape. Looks very tired within minutes. Bought a different color last year, quality was twice as good. Fabric was nicer
