Jacket was extremely light weight and the sleeves were too short.

Fragile fabric. Notice that a similar, but more costly jacket, from a different manufacturer uses fabric with some sort of underlying webbing that probably provides better strength. Would not purchase this again. Also, didn't really like color selection.

Jacket runs a bit tight. If in doubt, order next larger size.

No zippers on the pockets, coat is fair at best. Doesn't feel great but isn't very expensive either.

Disappointed in quality and thickness of jacket, or should I say lack of.

This jacket is not really a "Puffer" jacket. It is nice and light and functional for medium cold weather (40s-50s), but not a winter, cold weather coat. And it is just a some kind of insulating material sewn into a jacket with horizontal stithces. I like itk but not for true warmth in a winter setting. Also, I find it odd that is has zero internal pockets.

For the price the overall quality and fit was poor. Ended up buying another brand for $50 more that is much better.

This product was made well but it doesn't provide the warmth I was expecting.

Jacket is fitted and leaves no room for layering. Confining when driving. Collar design is also confining when jacket is fully zipped. Love the color. Not happy with the design.

Nice design and fit, but thin nylon made it look cheap.

Let me start by saying. The quality of this jacket and the fit is good. The warmth of the jacket is not. Even in 30 degree weather, I was freezing in this jacket. And I'm from Ohio, and can usually withstand the cold pretty well. It is a very lightweight jacket, and can see this being perfect for the Spring or Fall, but not the winter.

I like the traditional fit of LLBean jackets .Seems like they are trying to please more people when in reality they are disappointing there long time customers .

Overall, I still like the jacket but wish the color was actually gunmetal. I also wish the jacket had a slightly more tapered fit. I'm 6'2" and weigh around 175lbs and have a much of medium jackets that fit really well. This LL Bean jacket does too, however, it is loose around stomach area and sort of makes me look like I have a bit of a gut (which I don't).

Wish it was a bit thicker to be warmer and the collar wasn't so high. Other than that it is great.

I love the jacket but feel that a couple improvements would make it exceptional. 1) Add a breast phone pocket (inside or outside). 2) Replace hand pocket snaps with zippers. 3) Offer in a few more colors.

Sharp looking jacket. XXL Tall fits great. Colder than other jackets in comparable weight. I can feel the cold wind blowing on my back. No breast pocket, inside or out, which I really miss. Look at Carhartt before purchasing.

Lighter jacket but looks good. I don't think LL Bean has the same quality as they used have years ago and it has gone down.

I get that some features are not included to get to the price. I'm ok with no chest pocket and I think I'll be ok with snap hand pocket closures if the quality is good enough. But no draw cord in the hem to block the wind makes it difficult for this jacket to do its job. If it cant block the wind and keep you warm, why would you wear it? Not sure this is a keeper.

very nice looking and well made, but more of a shell than a jacket, cannot wear alone in my opinion. needs to be a layer.

Be aware that the Mountain Classic Puffer is a fitted racket rather than a roomy jacket. I bought it for my husband, who is wheelchair bound, as a gift. I had to return it, as it fit too tight in the shoulders, and probably the waist area too! He is about 6'4" and 270#, and ordered a 2XL Tall. He has a fleece lined flannel shirt from LLBean in the same size, and wears it over a tee all the time! It looked like a really mice jacketmaybe I'll buy one for me!

Albeit, a slimmer style for me, I like the fit. It's just that I can't wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. My only complaint is that the jacket does not keep (you) warm much at all. I'm a bit disappointed in this product for that. My best guess is that this jacket is a good choice for fall and the transition from winter to spring. Winter is out in my opinion.
