I ordered with expedited shipping because of the reputation of LL Bean. I thought I could trust that this would be a quality product. This "puffer" jacket has no puff or insulation at all. It is absolutely flat and simply a polyester shell. This would barely qualify as a windbreaker despite it being rated as a mid level coat.
I will never be buying another product from LL Bean. I deeply regret paying for premium shipping as well. I only did out because I trusted this company to provide a high quality item. I should have just bought something locally.

Disappointed. I purchased this thinking it would have a classic look, but it looks like a trucker jacket from the 1970s. The collar neatly folds in the image, but it's not like that. In reality, it falls flat and wide like a vintage Hawaiian shirt. There's nothing inside to support it and it's not cut in a way that naturally supports it. That forces the jacket to hang in kind of a goofy way that's unflattering and adds about 20 lbs. It just looks ridiculous compared to my other puffer jackets.

Bought it because Website says "Warmer." Its way too thin to be of any warmth, when checked the magazine it says "Warm." Customer service not very helpful, option to return by mail, hassle for sure. Probably other items are just as bad.

The jacket was far too slim and extremely tight; could not get zipper closed. I'm 6'2", 81 years old and 260 pounds. It might have been nice if it fit me. I returned it for credit.

The only thing this jacket has going for it is the color, Gunmetal Grey is very nice. But I am shocked that they call this a puffer jacket. It is paper thin, VERY flat and has almost NO insulation. and all this at nearly $100 !!!!!!! I actually laughed when I took it out of the ENVELOPE they ship it in, not even a box ! .So disappointed in LL Bean clothes the last 2 years or so and this just takes the cake.

I almost fell over when I pulled this jacket out of the box. It is so thin, almost hard to believe it is a jacket. It also does not fit me like my other large LL Bean jackets, just too tight in the shoulders. I am going to return this item. LL Bean products, at least what I have purchased, are not of the same quality as 15 - 20 years ago.

Dear LL Bean, if you're sending me your ads advertising sakes, can you make them all inclusive. I find that EVERY TIME I take my time to look into buying something from your ad, I don't find anything that is for my size XXLT. Oh yea you did have one that was "sold" ( baby blue- how many men buy a rain cosa, jacket that's baby blue!)

Although I knew the color , it was too way bright and it was very thin. Not sure if I misunderstood that this was a layering type of jacket.

It was my normal size I order, but it did not come close to fitting in my chest and shoulders.

Wore jacket over 3 layers on a 35-40 degree windy day and was freezing. Maybe I'm just a wimp. Definitely not what I was expecting though.

Whoever designed this jacket ought to be terminated. The proportions are altogether awkward. There is no way to tighten the waist, to prevent wind from blowing up the jacket, and two pockets that do not zip are absurd.

This was a very disappointing puchase. A tall didn't fit my 6'5" grandson and had to be returned.
Thankful Bean's returns are easy. But my purchases over the last year have a let down. Will not make more purchases in the future

Jacket lacks drawstring. Or elastic at bottom . Wind blows up your back

I've worn this jacket 5 times and the seams are already pulling out. This is extremely disappointing.

This jacket was more like a windbreaker rather than a puffer jacket. Very thin. Not the usual quality I expect from LL Bean.

XL sizes usually give me ample room. This XL should be L at best.
