It is not a classic royal blue color. The fabric drapes strangely . it is very boxy.

Super light. Not a winter jacket at all. Fit real well, but pricey for what you get

purchased this jacket for winter weather. Need to wear a vest over flannel shirt and then the jacket. Not what I was expecting.

This jacket is not great for winter. It's a bit on the thinner side. Would be great as a fall jacket here in New England but definitely not as a winter jacket.

Boxy and short waisted even in large. Love the color.

Love the exterior color and look but will return the jacket. The quality of the jacket is sub-par. Feels very flimsy, and the snap pockets are not deep or feel sturdy. Lastly, the cut was very tight on the shoulders and arms. If you work out, your arms will be very tight in this.

This is just a vaguely puffy spring jacket. It's not at all warm, it has no truly functional pockets to redeem the lack of warmth, and it's not stylish. I didn't care about the "stylish" part, but I thought I'd throw that in there for those who do. The plus is that the orange color is quite visible (for bike riding and road walking), but I have other options for that. (I returned this item.)

Extremely, extremely LIGHT WEIGHT. Might be OK as inner liner. Useless otherwise.

No zipper pockets on the outside. Not as thick and warm as I thought it would be. Overall construction of the jacket was fine. It just wasn't what I expected. Fit was good. Returned to credit my account.

I like the style and color of the jacket, but the fit is weird. Tight in the armpits and shoulders but wide at the bottom. And the weird thing is I ordered a L, it was huge, and returned it to the store for another L which fit totally different. Also needs an interior pocket.

The collar was too high ( a problem with other items from llbean.) The sleeves were a it long, and the color was not what I expected based on the website picture.

It boggles my mind that LL Bean would not put a chest pocket on the inside of the jacket. That is a total deal breaker and makes this jacket just impractical for day to day use. Nobody is going to risk putting their valuables in those hand pockets.

I LOVED the lightweight style and warmth of this jacket. But the fabric is more fragile than I expected. My jacket tore near the pocket.. I only use this jacket to stay warm at my desk job so its not like my work environment is rough on clothes. I don't ever get damage on the other clothing I wear at work. If you can be careful.. its a great jacket.. otherwise find a jacket with stronger fabric.

Very thin. Practically a windbreaker. Don't be fooled by the "warmer" rating.

My older version from several years back was so much warmer. Another one bites the dust.

This jacket is so thin that I don't think it should be considered a puffer. Disappointed because this wasn't clear at all in the photos or in the description. It's one thing for a puffer to be lightweight that's a common word used in puffer advertisements but this is completely flat. Super sad bc this was a gift sent to a different state, so the person who got the gift is gonna have to go through the trouble of exchanging.

Bought a year ago. Lining in sleeves 2" longer, lining through to bid, bad fit. After 4 times, struggling with this, ( my husband needs help putting on) but even so, I could have repaid the entire singing, but guess what threw it away. Clothes are poor," just for jack pine savages" DAHHBH

Doesn't move the needle. Returned it. Extremely unfashionable for an LL Bean product.

Buyer beware. If you layer with anything like fleece, it's tough to get the jacket on (fleece on fleece). Why didn't they line it with slippery nylon? Secondarily, snap pockets are a poor cost savings. Bought it online, had to return.

Jacket is probably fine, website changed size and color when I ordered, I didn't see it, returned it and went elsewhere.

If this "coat" were only to be worn for photographs, it would get 4 stars..Good looking coat~although truth be told, the gunmetal grey is more like a slate blue in person. How it qualifies as a "warmer" coat must have something to do with physics as it feels way too thin to be warm. You know how bubble wrap is just a film once the bubbles are popped and the air is all out? this coat feels like a down jacket with the down removed. Sorry LL Bean, this was a miss for us.
