This is a replacement for one I purchased about 15 years ago. It's easy on and off. The front zipper pocket is useful and easily accessible. It is good at blocking wind and rain during disagreeable weather. My Anorak is used solely for twice daily trips to my barn to care for my farm pets. It is so right for this task that it is the only one I used and will continue to use with my new one.

Love this pull over. Wish there were more colors to choose from. I want one of every color. Would love to see a yellow.

Just like the picture. The fit is good. Order a medium and still have a little wiggle room.

I am loving this muted purple. A little girly girl is a good thing. I bought large. Medium would have worked fine but not sure about layering. I also like my clothes a little looser over tighter. Well made, quality product. The fabric feels nice and soft. The insulation is the perfect weight. With a vest under the anorak, it will take me into winter for a while and delay breaking out the coat. Also, this garment comes below my behind! Always another good thing.
Smart purchase for me.

This is probably one of my favorite items of clothing ever purchased. Exceeds expectations. Sizing is spot on, no need to size up or down.

I got it as a gift for my mom. She walks every day and has always liked a pullover wind breaker. I got this because she's never had an insulated one. She said that everyone she sees on her walk compliments her and wants one too!

I really love this jacket. I have a hard time getting it off though! The fit and warmth are great for fall and early Spring. Sometimes I forget I have it on and wear it all day long, it is that cozy. I have worn this in the rain and while I do not think that it claims to be weather proof it is. So far I have stayed dry all fall, and the large hood is a plus for staying warm and dry. I purchased this coat because my kids have them and they live in it all year long, now I understand why. I highly recommend. Oh and I have had this for a few months and have not experienced any thread problems or insulation problems. The coat is perfect.

Bought an identical green jacket like this in 1997 at the LLBean store in Maine and I still have that jacket. It looks brand new after a wash. I am tough on this jacket. The new jacket seems so far, as awesome as the original. My daughter took my old green one away to college with her last week (I am not sure which made me more sad the departure of the child or the jacket, just kidding). Just got the new navy jacket in the mail today! It fits just the same! Same great styling, terrific kangaroo pocket with a zipper! I am so thrilled. Let's see if it can last 24 years like the green one.

I hesitated because of the reviews about insulation seeping through the outer fabric, but I decided to give it a try because this is exactly what I wanted in a fall jacket. I'm so glad I did. I've worn it several times and haven't had any issues. The outer fabric is thick and high quality. It's very well made, warm enough for 40-degree fall days and keeps me dry in light rain. Fits true to size while allowing room for a thick sweater. Really comfortable and cute. And a great value. I highly recommend it.

I had bought the no -insulated version and loved it. I bought this for winter hikes and it is exactly what I needed. I wanted it loose so bought a Large. I'm 5'1", 150 lbs.

I have two of these. I loved the first one so much I got a second one as back up for when the first one is dirty I still have one to wear! Perfect layer for when it's raining, windy, cooler night by a fire. Is my go to jacket for all of my hikes

I first ordered a large after talking to an associated by chat online when the measurements seem to point me to a large. The large was very loose, arm length too long. I'm 5'7" , 160 pounds. I normally wear a large, but the large was HUGE on me. I returned it for a medium and it was a great fit, still had room to move. The jacket color is spruce pine and its beautiful!

Love it!
It's very warm. Love the fact that it is insulated. Runs big , I usually wear a small and ordered a small, but it's ok because I can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath comfortably for colder days. Definitely keeps wind and rain out. Love the hoodie and the large front pocket for storing keys, phone, money, etc. Overall, great jacket.

I've been eyeing this item for several years, hoping it would be available in something other than black (like dark red, or medium grey). I finally ordered the black because I wanted to try the item. It is perfect for my needs. I wear it as a layer (like a hoodie) in the house, for long brisk walks in the morning, doing errands, and as pajamas before bed! It goes hiking, cycling, on a plane, and for long car trips. It rarely makes it to a hangar since I am wearing it most of the time! It looks fantastic with skinny jeans and leggings. The outer fabric is wind and water resistant. I've worn it walking during drizzly rain showers and for a quick trip into a store during pouring rain. It successfully handles both. It isn't a raincoat; I wouldn't choose it for a whole day outside in the rain, but it does just fine for light showers (for an hour) or a quick run from the car into a store (for pouring rain). The outer fabric is soft and pliable. The insulated lining works well at a range of low 40's (brisk walking) to high 60's (sitting on porch for visiting during COVID). I was concerned about the pilling that many reviewers noted. I saw a little bit, but gently separated the lining from the outer fabric with my hands, and the bits of insulation were drawn back inside the outer fabric. I ordered both an XS and a S, and while both fit, I preferred the looser fit and shoulder mobility in the S. The hood is generous, and it covers a ponytail or a jaw clip and glasses well. It is fantastic to have a very functional hood! The pockets hold everyday items, and my cell phone stays accessible in the kangaroo pocket w/o falling out. The zippered pocket is essential for keys and cash. I like this anorak so much that I ordered the uninsulated version for slightly warmer weather! Two thumbs up LLBean!!!

This jacket is perfect for Wisconsin's early springs and late falls when I need to layer up but dread pulling out my winter coat. Loose fitting enough to wear a thick sweatshirt underneath for extra warmth. Great jacket all around: love the pockets, hood, and drawstrings around the waist. Will be buying another with a full zipper too!

I typically wear a small in LL Bean stuff as I have noticed its made slightly oversized (I'm often a classic medium in all other clothing lines). I was wary of buying an XS since I am NEVER XS, but it was the last one available in black so I took a chance. Being made oversized went in my favor because this fit perfectly. I have just enough room for one thin sweater and this anorak protected and kept me warm on a snowy day in Joshua Tree. Shoulders, arm length, over all length, was tailored made for me. I love the cut and style, and I wear this all the time now. If it comes in other colors, I will for sure be ordering more.
