We bought this jacket for my daughter to wear while studying abroad in Ireland. It is well insulated and beautifully made. The color is lovely. It is high quality and reminds me of the L.L. Bean parka I lived in back in the 1990s (what I'd give to have it back!).

I really like this Anorak. It is jus the right size to fit over a double layer of clothing that I usually wear when hiking. It is perfect for most of our Tennessee fall and winter hikes. If you don't like yours a little big, get a smaller size. This one is roomy.

At first glance I thought there is no way that this jacket is warm enough. The boy was I wrong. It actually is very warm and comfortable and I love the deep pockets for my keys and phone.

Absolutely love this Anorak. The color is lovely and the nice weight lining makes it a go to for those New England days when it's cold, but not cold enough to wear the heavy duty coat. It also protects from the wind. After reading some reviews I decided to purchase the next larger size up in case I wanted to wear a heavier sweater underneath, but I probably didn't have to do that since it fits true to size. I'd highly recommend. I've already gotten compliments when I've worn it.

Bought this jacket for a good fall layering option. It is warm and cozy while still being thin enough to layer comfortably. It's quilted but thin. It does a great job insulating against cold wind and it's stylish. The purple color goes with everything and is a fun addition to my closet.

I had to fly, with a carry on only, so packing was limited. I needed something that would accommodate wind, rain, with a little warmth (if needed) and this covered my needs. I don't think it would keep you dry in a heavy downpour, and they do state that in the description. I first ordered the L
(which I have in their unlined version, I love the fit)
But the L in this version was too big! Returned for a M, which is just OK, wish it fit like the other unlined one. I'm 5'3 140 Thank you

Light coat, but does a great job keeping you warm!! Comfy, never bulky feeling. Looks nice as its a half-zip so the zipper doesnt poke out ever - nice smooth front. Only downside to that is pulling it off over your head can be a little awkward...but totally worth it!

Wonderful jacket. A little big but comfy. I like that it's lined so it's warm but, not heavy.

Sleeves are long if you are vertically challenged as I am . 4'10.

Warm, keeps wind out; I like the long zipper because I can easily take it on and off without messing up my hair.

This is a pullover coat for winter, so I haven't yet worn it. I bought it for the color, Spruce Pine. I am encouraged by the models in your catalogs to wear clothing that is form fitting. But if you really want to know, right now I'm in your Spring shorts/pajamas which are cool in this summer heat, and beautiful.

I needed a jacket that's compactable, weather-proof, and perfect for hiking in Yellowstone. Based on one helpful review, this jacket was the perfect option. With a tee/tank and/or a long-sleeve shirt underneath, I have plenty of room to move. When I put on a "thin" sweatshirt (P.gonia half-zip), it still fits, but it's much tighter and you can tell. When I hug myself, it's a bit tight, but still enough room so I wouldn't tear the material. Either size, when I take this jacket off, it's a little tight under the armpit, so it takes a second to get off. With the L, it's definitely easier to pull the jacket up-and-over from the bottom. The jacket itself has a narrow fit to it, so be mindful in your size. If you're one of those people that gets anxious, like you're "stuck" in a garment and can't get it off, get one size up, but know you'll see it's bigger.
For reference: I am typically a M/L, 36B. My hips are 45" (waist 33"). The jacket hits me at my hips. It can cover my butt, but it's tight (and not comfortable).

Great spring jacket! Just enough warmth for cool spring days and blocks the wind. Roomy enough for a sweater underneath. Happy with this purchase. 5'3" 120lbs purchased petite small.

Very impressed with this jacket. Very comfortable and fits really well. I bought this for traveling. I'm an avid photographer and having a pull over, light weight, insulated jacket is a huge plus. Nothing gets in the way or twisted and the pocket is quite handy.

Loved the non-insulated anorak so much that I ordered this insulated version, too. Roomy enough to comfortably wear extra layers underneath. Quality fabric and details. Highly recommend!

Warm and functional. I probably could have gone small but I'm able to layer if needed on colder days!

I'm very picky about jackets. I spend a lot of time outside in a lot of different conditions -- rain, snow, wind. Weather does not keep me indoors. This jacket is a WINNER. The best way to stay warm during a cold, New England winter is to layer. I hate bulky parkas because they are often too warm when you're active and just stupid uncomfortable. I wore this jacket with two light layers (wool) underneath for the ENTIRE winter in Massachusetts, with the exception of 2 days when I had to put a down layer under it due to single digit temps. It's comfortable, water resistant, and takes a beating. The front pocket is big. The material is tough but comfortable. I am on the verge of buying a second one just to keep for years from now when this one wears out and LLBean no longer makes this jacket. It's THAT GOOD. I never write reviews that are this positive, btw. I just stinking love this jacket. I know I sound like a weirdo. I probably am. My husband is sick of hearing about how much I love this jacket. I think he may be jealous. Lol.
