This jacket is well made and warm; however, as a middle aged woman with thinning hair I noticed when pulling this jacket over my head it sometimes pulls strands out which is not good because I have to put on and pull off this jacket multiple times in a day, AND I am trying to keep as many strands as possible. I tried a larger size to see if I had the same issue, but it just look silly on me. I guess that's $99.00 down the drain. Or maybe I could learn to love being bald.nah. I'll buy another jacket from LL Bean and donate this to Goodwill.

I have several in a light weight material and I love them. This is not sized the same, I find it difficult to get off. I was very disappointed.

I wore it for only ONE week and the insulation is falling out of the jacket. Like other people here have said, small white piling appears on the exterior of the jacket. I thought for a bit that I just sat against something linty until I realized it was literally the insulation coming through. Was very surprised.

Simply put, I expect more from LLBean. This jacket is over a hundred dollars with tax, and I noticed white pilling happening after getting it only two weeks ago and wearing it a handful of times. Pilling makes you look sloppy and unkempt. I am very disappointed and returned it. It also was slightly too tight in the hip. I wish more products would have a stretchy vertical hip panel for a little flexibility. It was too big in other places but just barely fit over the hip. Fit issue aside, this jacket is too expensive to show pilling within the first two weeks.

I got this jacket for the PNW's fall/spring where we experience cool temps and lots of rain/drizzle. This jacket does an ok job of keeping you warm but it doesn't keep the water out at all. The biggest problems are along the seams, especially the shoulders. Even with a drizzle, when I take the jacket off, my shoulders are SOAKED, making it embarrassing to take off when I get to my destination. If the rain is heavier, the jacket will stay soggy even when hung overnight so it typically needs to go in the dryer after being out in the rain. I wanted to love this jacket so much but in the end feel like I just wasted a bunch of money...it's comfortable though, so there's that.

I really loved this jacket but unfortunately, like other reviewers have mentioned, this jacket lost the insulation. Little white spots appeared especially around the armpits and arms, and ended up being the insulation coming out! I brought this back and exchanged it for a new one, but unfortunately the same thing happened to the second jacket. Super bummed, as this jacket was super cute and comfy and the perfect weight for lots of months in Minnesota.
