Good quality. Fit is baggy. The belt loops are helpful.

These are a nice lightweight pair of shorts. They dry quickly and are very soft and comfortable. I like pockets but none on this pair are large enough to zip with an iPhone 12. The zipped back pockets fit an iPhone 6 though.

Super comfortable shorts with great stretch and great fit. The material is lightweight, cool, dries quickly. The only complaint I have is that the zipper tore away on one of the pockets shortly after I started wearing them. I'd send them back but I like them so much, I just want to keep wearing them. Maybe I'll just repair the tear myself...

I ordered two pairs of these shorts last year and really liked them so I ordered another color this year. However, this year's version doesn't include the internal size adjusters. So I had to return these and ordered the next smaller size. I don't know if they'll fit. I hope they do.

These are true to size and lightweight for Florida heat. Thrilled to have a green color choice. Just wish there were more inseam options! A little long at 9" inseam for this 5 foot tall girl.

These are now my go-to shorts. I have had one pair for a few years already. Now have two more. Pros: light, comfortable fabric is cool in hot weather. Long length is good for hiking, gardening, wear in public. Zip pockets. Machine washes and dries (warm cycle) well. Cons: Fabric is prone to snagging and pilling. Front pockets could be deeper to accommodate a cell phone. They do run a bit large. Love the gray color.

LINE DRY. These had a cute fit until I let a pair sneak into the dryer. They are no longer a flattering fit. So sad! The fabric is thin but modest, not like swimming trunks, more crepey and thick. They line dry quickly. I just ruined my new shorts.

Ordered the spruce in 8 and too big so ordered the 6. Loved them so much ordered the khaki in 6 but this color did not fit like the spruce color! Too tight in the tush. Will have to size up to 8 for khaki. Light weight. Cool. Lots of pockets. Super comfortable. Would give them a 5 if I hadn't had to go through all the ordering/returning. They are my go to shorts.

Love the look, fit and comfort of these shorts. I own them in several colors. However, they do pill fairly quickly. I like them well enough that I have replaced them a season or two later.

I love these shorts. They're lightweight and have lots of pockets. Perfect for any outdoor activity. My only complaint is that they're a bit too long and even though I tried them on in the store they fit a little too loose when I got them home.

Comfortable, lightweight shorts that are great for hiking or casual wear. Great for travel. Knocked off a star due to material wrinkling so much. Need more colors!

These shorts are very light and comfortable. The zippered pockets keep my small items secure and are easy to access. I did find that they run quite large. I had to exchange them for a smaller size.

These shorts are great except for one important thing. The waist is not adjustable and there are no belt loops. I can feel them slipping down after they have been on for awhile. Bring the adjustable tabs to the party and they will be five star worthy.

I got the soft spruce color and I love them. The fabric is light and stretchy. I love the zippered pockets. But they are baggy, even in a size 2! Why is there no size 0? Why is there no petite option? I weigh 135 and the 2 is loose on me. Smaller women will not be able to wear these shorts, due to the generous cut. Come on Bean, everybody knows baggy is not a good look on women! Even those of us with narrow hips appear wide in baggy clothes. I will keep these to cycle in, due to the nice fabric, but I will not feel good in them because of the baggy cut.

Very comfortable shorts. I didn't realize the material was not more cotton. It is more like rain jacket material.

I love these shorts! They are light weight and fit great. The length is perfect. I'm 68 and so t like short shorts! One negative is they snag quite easily and an older pair I ordered has started to get little balls by the pockets.

I really like these shorts and wanted to like them on. These shorts are nicely styled for outdoor activity, light weight and comfortable to wear. My body type tends to carry weight around my stomach. I was THRILLED to put these shorts on and have them fit my waist. For example I have a 37" waist with 41" hips. It's so hard to find good fitting clothes. Unfortunately, I feel a bit sad and baggy wearing these overall. I think with a smaller leg opening they might fit well. As it is they fit very wide legged on me.

Looking to replace an older pair of hiking shorts; tried both these and the Trail Model version. While I prefer the fabric and pocket placement of the Trail Model, the Vista actually fit me a little better - though neither style is ideal for those of us who carry more weight in our tummy than our hips. The very lightweight fabric takes some getting used to (no hiding anything in your pockets!), but it has been quite comfortable for our hot summers down South.

my iphone 12 mini will only fit in the back pockets, not in the front or small side pockets. The fabric is super light and comfortable in hot weather - wish they used this fabric for other styles of shorts and crops. This short has belt loops which I never use. I am 5"4" 120 pounds and the 6 is a bit roomy (but not enough to size down). Very nicely made excellent quality.

These would definitely be considered tropic weight shorts and great for summer. When I first received them, the waist was just a bit large but after washing and drying them, they were fine. Got them for golf on hot days, and they will be great for that, with ample pockets. Good for older gals like myself who prefer their shorts to mid thigh.

I like the breathable, quick-drying material. Wore them as I walked a couple miles on the beach today. They got a little bit wet from the waves, but dried quickly. Pockets are zippered and just the right size. I took off one star because the waist doesn't fit quite right (a bit too big in the waist). It has belt loops, so I guess I could buy a belt. I have wide hips. I bought the black pair first, then bought the khaki color. Nice shorts that go with everything active outdoors.
