These shorts are great! I have the tan and the grey ones. They are comfortable, breathe well on hot summer days, and wash and dry with no ironing necessary. I love the variety of pockets, and the front slash pockets are nice and deep. I did, however, size up for the best fit.

This is my 2nd pair of shorts I've ordered and if it were up to me all of my shorts would be made from this fabric. Light weight and cool. I just love them. Glad I gave them a try. I also ordered two pairs of mens shorts for my husband. He finally agreed to give them a try and he is just as thrilled as I am since we live in a hot climate.

I LOVE these shorts-lightweight, comfy, & roomy. I don't have skinny legs, so that may be why, but I think they're perfect & move well. Will probably buy another color!

Love these shorts and slacks. I have 3 pairs of slacks and with this order I now have 7 pairs of shorts. Live in Florida and these are light weight. If get caught in rain storm they dry quickly. I live in the shorts. Wish they had capris in this style and material. I did have to order up one size but small price to pay for this comfort. You will not be sorry if you order these shorts. Love the fact they pack small because of the material. Nothing negative to say about these. If they ever do capris I will be ordering them also.

This is the most comfortable and light weight fabric in a pair of shorts that I have ever owned. I live in the desert southwest and it will work perfectly for our hot summers. Very happy with the quality and fit.

Nice fabric for travel. Love them for walking and even for golf. Lightweight fabric with stretch. I have a stocky more muscular build and need stretch in the waist and these fit the bill. I'm 5'1" and 140# and got a size 6 which fit great. Got all of the colors (although the sandstone is not as shown, which is too bad; I may send them back).

You can do anything in these shorts, run, hike, yoga, work out in gym and still look great so then you can go out to eat. had to order 2 sizes down from my regular size which is a 10 sometimes I can wear an 8. I have small hips. THe size really depends on how you are shaped. Mine is more of an smaller lower and wider upper. I had the help of a customer specialist when I returned the one and he helped me decide on the size that fits. He was correct and these shorts are great.

These are great shorts especially if you live in a hot climate and/or like softer, more light weight fabrics. I have two pairs of these, one since mid-2015, the other since mid-2014. Both have held up well. The legs of the newer ones are slightly more tapered but still space to move which I prefer. The fabric is thin and cool which is perfect for the hot climate in which I live. If I were hiking in the Rockies, I would want a sturdier fabric like the Comfort Trail (that are just too hot for me in Southern Africa). I have worn these Vista shorts camping and around town. The pockets are great. If you are traveling, they pack up very small and dry fast. I'm hoping they come up with a pair in a walnut color too.

I love these shorts, I have 6 pairs. There are true to size, and are durable. So lightweight and cool in hot temps. They are super comfortable too. They are my go to shorts.

I bought this item to wear for golfing and hiking. I wore it recently for golf and it was very comfortable. The size I bought was true to my normal size. The legs are long enough. I do not like shorts that do not cover a lot of my legs. It laundered very nicely.

I had the long pants and decided I wanted to try the shorts. Bought 1 color and really liked them and then purchased the other two. Am planning on taking all 3 pair on an upcoming trip to a warm place! I do fear snagging them like I did the pants, but since I am aware of how easily they do snag, I'll be extra careful. The fit is so comfortable and they are very light weight.

They are light and comfortable and have zipper pockets! Perfect for trekking! Just ordered the skorts and long pants of the same type!!

These shorts are very comfortable and true to size. I plan to get another pair. They are very lightweight and I like the zippered pockets. Would love a pocket on each leg versus just the right one.

I had the Vista long slacks and enjoyed them so decided I wanted the shorts, too. The fit is good and they are very comfortable.

I ordered a pair of these shorts after reading other reviews and am so glad I did. Although some may think the material flimsy, I find it perfect for warm days and long walks or hikes. The extra zippered leg pockets are great for carrying cell phones and a small change purse for the occasion when you might need some money but don't want to carry a regular purse. I love the shorts so much that I bought 2 more pairs in the other available colors. The length is also perfect for women who prefer a bit of thigh coverage. Perfect!

Loved the shorts. They were so light and comfortable. Wish one of the side pockets on hip would have had a zipper. That's the only change I would make!

These are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I will buy several pairs. Lightweight, great zip pockets everywhere I want them. Just love these shorts.

According to the size chart for the Vista, I needed an 8. Since reviewers said it runs large, I ordered the 6 which was huge. Ultimately, I exchanged for size 4 which fits comfortably. The fabric is soft and light. I also ordered the Comfort Trail Short but like the style of the Vista Trekking short better for the cut. I am 5'0", 114 lbs. BTW, I ended up with size 8 in the Comfort Trail short.

True to size, perfect length and comfortable fit. I wear them for hiking and at the office. Well worth the price. Would buy them again.

These shorts are comfortable, durable and quick drying, just like the LLBean pants of the same material. Perfect for hiking, walking the dogs, etc. I wish they offered a longer length option.

These shorts are my go-to's in the summer now not just when I'm trekking, but at home too. The best features? Super lightweight which is so nice on hot, sticky days. And they they really do dry fast. I was caught in pouring rain while shopping one day. By the time I got home (20 minutes later) these shorts were almost dry already! So comfortable too.

Lightweight, roomy . . . great for trekking or "just because"!

I bought one pair at a store looking for lightweight shorts I could walk/run in. I loved the fit of these shorts. I know other reviewers have said he waist is too big. I am pear shaped and the waist is comfortably loose. Don't change that!!!! I have bought more pairs in different colors. They are the most comfortable shorts I have owned. They dry quickly, I love the pockets - I can keep keys or hotel key cards zipped in so I can't lose them. I like the length, as well. The only minor complaints are: some colors do show significantly when wet (granite is the best for hiding wetness), and the pair of olive I just purchased had a waist a good two inches smaller than all other pairs. Quality control??
