I love these shorts. I have all three colors. I have had them for 3 or 4 years. Wish they would make them in the color stone. They are so lightweight & have lots of pockets!!

I absolutely love these shorts. They are comfortable and lightweight! I just wish there were more colors availabile. I have a pair of teal/aqua ones that I bought last year, don't see that color available any more.

I love these shorts. I also have the trek pants that have a zipper and you can make them into these shorts. I wish they would come in different colors. I would buy more of them.

I love these shorts. They are light weight and dry fast which is perfect for FL summers. The pockets are also great. They are plenty deep enough for larger size smart phones, money, lipstick etc. I wear these shorts to go to the theme parks. They are very comfortable and allow me not to have to carry a purse or get a locker. The pockets are zippered so I never had to worry about things falling out of them. I purchased the grey shorts and the color is great very versatile.

I love the fit of these shorts, no gapping at the waist, nice length, comfortable fabric. I do a lot of walking in humid conditions and these shorts are airy and don't cling. There's lots of pockets to carry things. They are true to size. I have already bought them in another color!

These are just a great pair of shorts for hiking. Extremely comfortable with stretchy material but also a close fit. Nice amount of pockets, some with zippers for safety. Recently got caught in a huge downpour, and they dried very quickly. You'll love them.

I bought two pair of the Vista Trekking pants for a recent trip to Europe, and liked them so much I bought the shorts when I came back. They are very comfortable and, very important, have pockets big enough for my phone. Two diagonal pockets in front, two zippered side pockets big enough for a phone or wallet, and two zippered back pockets. I searched very hard for pants/shorts with adequate pockets. Most women's pants these days, even "cargo pants" have tiny pockets that I can barely get two fingers in, or if open my phone falls out when I sit down. Not secure and ridiculous. Again -- love these pants, fit well, are comfortable and have secure storage.

Wonderful material. Lightweight with a little stretch. The sizes run a bit large (I wear a size 2 and the waist measures 30, not 29), but can sit low enough to make up for it. I wish there were more colors to choose from.

These shorts are exactly what I was looking for. They are true to size, very light weight fabric, have just the right amount of pockets, and fit well. I needed shorts that can be worn while traveling, and can also be used when kayaking. They dry quickly. They have some stretch in the fabric, which makes them even more comfortable. If you need to pack light, these take up no room. I highly recommend them.

These shorts are just the right length and weight for exercising adn working out. I love the styling and fit. The length is slightly longer for us older ladies and they are so comfortable. The stretchy material gives but keeps its shape and makes the fit very flattering.

After purchasing the Vista Trekking pants and loving the way they fit, I decided to try the shorts. They fit just as well so I bought 3 pairs in different colors! I usually wear a size 2 petite in pants and I found the size 2 regular fit perfectly with just enough stretch in the waistline. (I did not try the petite so I can't compare.) These shorts/pants tend to have a rise high enough so that I don't feel they are falling off like mid or low rise pants tend to do on me since I have no hips to keep them up. I also find the drape and cut flattering because it does not add extra bulk to the stomach area.

These shorts are so great! I bought 2 pairs, and then went and ordered 3 more because they are so comfortable! The material is very lightweight, so they do not feel heavy. The resist or release moisture, so they do not get "sticky" in the heat, and they have lots of nice zipper pockets, but the profile is so low that you don't get that bulky or utilitarian cargo look that I do not desire. These shorts are neat looking, dry quickly if caught in a shower or if you wear them canoeing, and the colors will not fade because of the type of material. Also-- most importantly, the waistband is very comfortable. It has 2 snaps instead of one, and a smooth zipper, and the waistband itself is wide, with breathable, soft fabric lining, so they don't pinch, roll, or bunch up. --Can you tell that I really like them? :)

This is my second pair of shorts, first one still holding up, just wanted another color. They fit me well, and wash and dry fast. if i were making them, the only thing i would do is make them and inch longer. they are not too short, i just like the coverage.

Last year's shorts were too small for me. This year's shorts are PERFECT (I didn't lose weight ... unfortunately). The front pockets are nice and deep, so I can shove my huge phone into them. And the small zippered pockets on the sides are perfect for keys, driver's license, etc. Very pleased with these shorts!

I LOVE these shorts-lightweight, wicking, quick-drying, and comfortable...love all the extra pockets. I ordered a 16-my usual size; they fit beautifully, but I like things a little roomy so if you want really snug, I'd probably order a size down. Otherwise try your usual size. I'm going to order another pair, & will be living in these all summer!

Love the material and fit of these shorts. Super light and super comfortable. Perfect for outdoor play, walking, hiking, beach, and going out and about. For me, they ran big in the waist (size 18). I reordered a size 16 and could have possibly went another size smaller but stayed with the 16. Would like to see them with a length 1" longer.

Love these shorts. I haven't bought shorts this comfortable in years. I don't get the negative reviews about them being lightweight. To me if it's warm enough to wear shorts, lightweight is good. They are cool on a hot day for sports, hiking, gardening or just to hang out. I love the zip pockets as well as the deep side pockets and the length is just right as I am short. I'm going to get another pair. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Great pair of hiking shorts for summer. Lightweight and breathable and they stretch! I was kind of in between a 2 and a 4, but went with the larger size. This type of fabric will shrink a tiny bit if you toss it in the dryer. I like the design on the back booty area..makes the tush look nice! Thank you LLBean!

Bought a couple pair of these Vista Trekking Shorts last year. They are super. Especially like the zipper pocket for my cell phone. This season, I purchased the remaining colors. They are comfortable, wash and wear well. Fantactic!
