I was happy with the look of the LL Bean brand and decided to try them. Shoes fit fine when first purchased but as I began to wear them the heel end quickly stretched way too much where they were uncomfortable to wear and flopped around when I was walking. In checking other reviews, I saw other people too had the same problem with the uncomfortable fit. I returned them to the store and went back to purchasing my usual brand instead.

swt decided to wear a heavy sock. I would have rather been able to have a shoe that fit wearing them bare foot being it is a boat shoe. Won't buy shoes from you anymore. Can't be sure of size

I have worn these moccasins for about 25 years. I have always ordered the same size (8.5 W). This time I ordered the same size, but I ordered the Cactus color rather than the Dark Brown.
When they arrived they slipped off my heal and just generally were a little too large. I exchanged them for a pair of Dark Brown in the same size and they fit like they always have before.
It's a shame because I like the Cactus color, and the leather is much softer and feel broken-in from the first time you put them on.
The Dark Brown ones are a much darker brown than shows in the picture online. The picture online looks more like the color of the last pair I bought about 6 years ago.
The leather is VERY stiff and they will require a good of time to break in so that they don't cause blister on my feet.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed.

I have worn LL Bean moccasins for over 20 years. This pair was an ugly brown and uncomfortable. After a number of wearings they are still not comfortable. Save your feet and your money and choose a different moccasin.

The mocs started squeeking after a couple of days. Took out the foam liner and they continue to squeek. The squeeking occurs between the leather and hard rubber sole. Cannot be worn in public. It is embarassing.

This is the only item I've bought from Bean that wasn't comfortable. Try as I might, I just could not get these shoes to adapt to my feet. They were too stiff and too wide and never "broke in" to being comfortable.

sizing is all wrong-have worn them for years and same size but now that they are constructed in San Salvador they are too small-plus the grade of leather seems inferior to the ones I wear now-worn out I might add

L.L. Bean imports these "hand sewn" Mocs from El Salvador and the quality was noticeably inferior to my previous pair that I've had for 25 years. Made in America is why!! Eastman are made in China and they are made better than these new ones, less expensive and carry them for women.

First Bean stopped doing shoe repairs. When the sole or stitching wore out on our extremely comfortable leather uppers, we had no choice but to buy a new pair of Camp Mocs and go through the break-in process again. There are no cobblers near us or I would have taken my shoes for repair locally. After 10 years of near-daily wear, the left sole cracked on my Camp Mocs, and I wanted to replace them. Imagine my surprise to discover that women's Camp Mocs are no longer sold, probably discontinued long ago, while I was blissfully, ignorantly wearing mine (purchased 2014). I decided to buy my husband a new pair to have on standby, as he wears through them more quickly. But based on how few sizes are available, it seems clear that Camp Mocs are being discontinued. This is extremely disappointing, as your footwear category now seems to be boots and an overabundance of sneakers with platform soles. No bluchers, no mocs. Just a smattering of chunky casual shoes with lug soles. I ended up buying Camp Mocs at your footwear competitor in Freeport. My 1-star rating is not for the Camp Moc shoes, which I love and would continue to buy from you if I could. It's for Bean's unfortunate direction away from natural materials straight into the land of synthetic only. It's become tiresome.

I love these but they are not made in women's sizes. I am a women's 8.5 so I ordered a men's 7. They were too big. LLBean I would love if you made these in women's sizes.

I was wanting Moccasins that laced up. These are slip on. I already have slip on slipper Moccasins from LLBEAN. That's what the photos made it look like they were (lace up). Now I have to return them, or go to a Store. No really too happy.

Within a few weeks the soles started to squeak loudly with every step. I'm embarrassed to wear them in public.

The sole was not stitched all the way around the shoe. I noticed this manufacturing defect 9 months after purchase when the glue failed. Thank goodness it was within a year because the customer service rep insisted that the product was only covered for a year even though the return form clearly states that manufacturing defects are not limited to a year. I will have to walk back to camp barefoot until exchange arrives but at it is LL Bean that has lost its way. Btw, mocs scuff easily because dark brown leather dye doesn't seem as good (penetration) as in the good ol days.

Quality was great, but the fit is nothing like that of the early 90's. The mocs run large and the heel is very wide. I have returned both the 7.5 (my normal size) and the 7.0. I'm disappointed that I can't find a pair that fits AND that I am out shipping on 2 pairs of shoes.

I am a Bean customer for over 50 years but no longer a satisfied customer. After being told that my favorite moccasins for over 30 years (bought 3 pair over the years) were no longer made I bought similar Mocs. The first pair (Men's Allagash Handsewn Mocs, 3-eye TA523568) had such thick soles that they were a trip hazard when walking, especially on stairs. The soles did not bend. The next pair (Men's Handsewn Moccasins, Camp Moc PF130448) looked like my first moccasins but have regular flat sole. Ordered the same size as the original pair 11 1/2 but they were too large. Exchanged for size 11 and still too large. They keep riding up in the back. I tried tightening the leather laces as much as possible and used mole skin pads to make them fit. Still ride up in the back. Bottom line, I've bought two pair of Bean Mocs (over $200 investment) and they are no good to me. The best Mocs Bean ever made, Bison Double-Sole Slippers with rubber no skid soles, no longer come with rubber soles. Why did Bean stop making the rubber sole version suitable for street walking? Bean has let me down. Waisted time and money because the best Bean Mocs are no longer made and I bought shoes I cannot wear.

Fits well but trips me on stairs. Will only use them for walking. Also laces do not keep tied.

Great slipper but order a wide unless you have very narrow foot. Wide also makes them run a little larger so don't order 1/2 size up on a wide order

I love the shoe
Words can not express
It was honestly to narrow. I wear a size 12
My feet are not what you would consider to be wide. If it came in a wide option i would purchase again. color was amazing it seem like it was good quality. I took a few steps in them and i felt it would break in over time. Too tight

Extremely frustrated with LLB. Have purchased several pairs of Camp Mocs during my lifetime. This pair I returned, they're no resemblance to what used to be the Camp Moc. Cheap material, different shape, very uncomfortable. I returned them immediately, yet LLB keeps asking me to review so I did. Do NOT recommend. Also, the return and reimbursement took much longer than any other online retailer I have experienced. Seems LLB has lost its direction as compared with years past.

product looked good, though it didn't fit. I was very surprised that I had to pay return shipping. In this culture of online shopping, returns are part of shopping, most companies provide for free returns especially for sizing issues. I will check other options before I chose to shop at LLBean again.

The sole is falling off the shoe already. Very disappointed. The pair I had prior to ordering these lasted me so much longer. I have always ordered my boat shoes through LLBean. I plan on returning.

I bought this moc to replace a Size 11 pair I have had from Bean for years. Ordered an 11, and I literally stepped out of them. Returned for a 10.5 and they are STILL too big. Returning for a credit. At a sale price and with expensive return costs, through playing the game. Really disappointed with Bean.

I ordered 9 Medium Cactus (colored) slip-on camp moccasins. You shipped Dark Brown 9 medium. I pointed out error in color, and returned for exchange to Cactus, 8 and 1/2 med. You sent Dark Brown 8 and 1/2 med., claiming that color was Cactus. I am returning these for 8 and 1/2 Cactus, enclosing a copy of your catalog display proving that Dark Brown is not the same as Cactus, and asking for a refund if you can't supply Cactus as in your catalog. Very frustrating, and costing me extra shipping cost to pay for your error. By the way, I have a pair of your lace-up Camp Mocs (in Cactus color), which I like very much.
