The soles of the EE width in cactus is 1/2inch NARROWER than my husband's old medium width Bean Camp Mocs. Have received 2 pair & both are way too narrow. Perhaps I should try ordering a medium width or the dark brown.

I've been wearing size 14 for decades ... these 14's essentially dropped off the foot after first step (checked to see that they were, in fact, marked as 14 and not in wrong box); exchanged for size 13 ... still too long and on the wide side (marked 13 in the shoes) ... apparently quality control is lacking, at least in the larger sizes, as both were larger than any of the 14's I own ... both pairs returned, at my cost (additional details expurgated)

Although they seem well made, the Camp Moc I received in 8 1/2 EE is extremely narrow. Please see the attached picture with a boat shoe, the Bean Camp Moc, and a loafer, all in 8 1/2 EE and you will noticed the Bean Camp Moc sole is at least 1/2 inch narrower than the other shoes. This comparison photo says it all--Camp Moc way too narrow.

I know my sizes, and have ordered LL Bean moccasins several times before. This pair was way too large, primarily in width. The box and the moccasins were marked with the size I ordered, which was the same size I ordered last time. But these were way too large, so I returned them. Very disappointed. I have loved the LL Bean moccasins for many years, but I no longer know what size to order..

Right out of the box these shoes looked very narrow. My foot wouldn't even start in the shoe. Maybe miss labeled? I think my wife's shoe wider

I would not buy these shoes. After about 4 weeks of limited wearing they developed a very annoying squeak.

I really hoped these would be better than they were. The leather quaility was substandard and the shoe looked nothing like the photo. I have been searching for a replacement for the very high quality Heavy Duty Boat shoes that LLBean used to carry since the current line of boat shoes is of terrible quality. These do have a better sole than the boat shoe, but otherwise are very similar to them. I would not recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high quality product.

Nice leather and great styling but workmanship and attention to detail is very poor...left shoe was over 1/2 inch taller in the heel...bring back the older version that was made in Maine...

I bought a pair of these after buying the Signature Camp Mocs in a 9.5D, which were really too narrow. I went for the same size in length at 9.5 (UK9) but the wide fit. Width is great but the length is huge. Ten minutes wearing around the house and they are like buckets. Very annoying that on a key product like this that Bean has been selling for decades that the sizing can be so far out. Really I'd need a US 9, which is a UK8.5. I have over 60 pairs of shoes and not one of them is a UK 8.5. That tells me the sizing of these is way off.
The other issue is that the handsewing on the right shoe is very crooked causing an odd kink in the vamp. This pair should have been pulled off the production line as seconds. I know Bean is not what it was but this may be the last thing I ever buy. Too many weird sizing issues across so many products. What makes it worse is that after international shipping, customs charges etc, the cost of shipping to return is not worth the hassle. Disappointed.

The Moccasins were very long and a very bad fit. I thought that the construction was of poor quality. I have returned them for a refund. I have bought a pair og shoe at a local store, and the shoes were a very good fit, good quality and a much cheaper price.

Camp Mocs used to be available in narrow widths. Now they only come in wide and extra wide which are far too wide!! They feel like flip flops!!

I've had several pairs of camp mocs over the past 20 years and I've always loved them. Until recently. Earlier this year, I ordered the now discontinued rugged version with the heavier lug sole, and more recently I purchased the regular camp moc. Both fit well and are comfortable. However, whenever I wear them with socks (as I must at work), both pairs squeak loudly with every step I take. Without socks, they're fine. I've even tried removing the insoles but they still squeak. So unfortunately, these shoes have been relegated to strictly casual weekend wear. I can't wear them to work anymore, even on casual Fridays, which was the main reason I bought them. Not sure what the problem is. My camp mocs were never squeaky before.

The front fit fine but the heel was much too wide and couldn't be tightened to fit. The shoe kept falling off.

I wore these moccasins trying to break them in. Thee Leather is too stiff, not supple and pliable as mocs I wore in the past. They remained stiff as a board.
I would not recommend this product.

Had to return this shoe. The shoe I received, while similar, is not the shoe pictured. The leather is a stiff, rough, pebble grain; not smooth as pictured. Also, the color is much darker than either color pictured.

The leather was very stiff and will not mold to your foot. The right foot hurt.

I purchased this same item about 8 years ago in Freeport and was hoping to receive the same quality and sizing as befdore. However, the leather seems inferior and the sizing is considerably off. My first pair was 9D so I ordered the same size. Unfortunately, they are at least a full size too large. Happily, I'm certain that you'll give me a credit when I return them.

My husband ordered the handsewn moccasins because he needs a wide shoe and they are very hard to find. The handsewn moccasins said they were double EE, they did not fit his foot at all. The toe was too pointed and he really had to work his foot into the shoe. Unfortunately we had to retun them. We would recommend the shoe for quality but the fit was not as stated!!

Do not order these if you are seeking the orginal LLBean camp moc. I just did and was dis-appointed by the girlie pointed toe on this one. (think 80's topsider) I may try the other one "bison?" something moc and see if it resembles the more solid and traditional Bean Moc.

I was disappointed with these mocs literally right out of the box: they arrived badly scratched, my first quality complaint ever concerning a Bean product.
