Great shoe. Very comfortable right out of the box! A little wider than I prefer but I have a narrow foot and narrow sizes are hard to find these days. Recommend for any looking for a comfortable knock around shoe that could also be used on a casual day at the office.

I orded this moccasin as a replacement for the exact shoe that was purchased 2 years ago. I have sent the original pair back to LLBean so they can see how the shoe fell apart. I figured the shoe would last longer than 2 years. Hubby liked the shoe so much that he wanted a new pair.

Good quality. Nice looking. Sole allows moc to keep shape after repeated wearing and is more conducive to being worn outside too.

I've had three pairs of Camp Mocs in the past 20 years. Each pair only gets better with age as the leather softens and molds to your feet. They're perfect with or without socks in a variety of situations/uses. They are rugged and can withstand stress. These would be a good value at a significantly higher price. The only negative I have is that I prefer the exterior soles and the leather insoles of my first two pair (purchased in 1990 and 1992).

Please bring back the smoother leather version, with wider sizes. These current ones don't fit and are uncorfortable compared to the old style.

Have purchased this model shoe before and they fit well. This time the right shoe is too narrow and hurts when wearing even eith laces lossened. Will keep taking short walks and hope they soften and/or stretch some.

Perhaps it's just the risk one takes with "hand-sewn" shoes, but the two shoes were significantly different sizes, to the point of being unwearable. As far as quaility goes otherwise, they seem to be very nicely made and were attractive. It was my impression that the shoes also ran at least one full size bigger than stated.

I originally ordered my normal size, 11 1/2 medium, which was also recommended on the website. They were too big (long) so I tried some heel pads but they did not correct the slippage problem. I sent them back and exchanged for a size 11. The heels also slipped with this pair so I ended up putting two heel pads on each shoe. They don't slip much now but my toes feel too close to the end of the shoe. I am going to wear them for a while to see if they break in. If not I will probably give them to some body. I have long narrow feet and I thought this style of shoe would work. Maybe not. I like the shoes overall not counting the fit. They look quality made and smell good (leather). If you can work out the fit they should be a good shoe for you. I am glad I paid half price for them. Would not be so happy if I had paid the full $100. Good luck.

Fit very large, had to order 3 pairs to figure out I need a full size smaller than i normally wear. I am wearing a 10.5 when I'm normally an 11.5. Comfortable now that I found my size.

Nothing like the original camp moc I purchased years ago, and wore while camping over many years, then when I couldn't camp anymore, they became my around the house, running errands in the car mocs. I still wear them for the latter use. The insoles are still supportive, the sole still has flexibility and enough grip when wet that I don't worry about slipping. These mocs are more of a shoe with a hard sole, still uppers and not much of a house or camp moc. I returned them.

Too narrow. I wear a women's size 8 and these would have been perfect (size 7 men's), if they had been wider. I was told these men's camp Mocs are not available in a wider width.

I love the look of this shoe. A classic style I remember well from college in the 1970s. But the leather is so hard; I'm really struggling to break them in. Wish the leather was a bit softer.

The Camp Moc leather design is one of the most perfectly looking moccasins ever, but L.L.Bean has ruined it with the old man looking soles. Why doesn't L.L.Bean use soles like Casco Bay Boat Mocs on the Camp Moc...if they did these would 5-star moccasins all day.

I was pleased that these mocs came in a wide width, but apparently not wide enough for my husband. I hate to send them back, but I know they will sit in the closet unworn if they are uncomfortable for him so back they go. I am not recommending it to others if you actual need a wide width shoe. Otherwise the moc is very good quality.
