The guy keeps buying them or having me buy them. This must be at least his third pair, so I guess he loves them.

I purchased these because I needed a nice medium-brown shoe with some extra width. The styling is perfect and classic, and the shoes look great with jeans or the business casual look for the office.

These are very comfortable, but the picture is decieving. The top of the shoes appear to be longer across the arch, but in reality they just cover the my toes.

Nice quality shoe, seems comfortable. However I must return them as they're very very wide in the heel for me. That's a shame as they seem quite nice.

Same shoe as previously bought but sizing runs smaller now.....bought the shoe 9 months ago assuming it needed breaking in...but now determined that sizing has changed to a least half size smaller fit than previous generations of the shoe

I loved these shoes when I was younger and wanted another pair. I really wanted the old 80's style boat shoes that Bean sold that were really super dark on top with white soles but they no longer make those.
Anyway, these are still nice shoes but they ran too big. I normally wear a 10 in dress shoes and a 10.5 in sneakers, so I ordered a 10. I recommend going down a half size. Had to return them and chose the Bison mocs instead.

The mocs fit well from the first try, feel comfy, and most important of all, get my wife's thumbs up! The cactus color is a little too muted, but the shoe looks good.

For the first two months they were a very comfortable fit. At the end of the second month, my German Shepherd Dog considered them delicious.

The sole of these mocs are a full centimeter shorter than the previous pair I bought from Bean almost ten years ago. Yes, I am older, but my feet have not shrunk a half-inch.

I would like to see 2 potential improvements: 1) the lace should be more effective in snugging up the shoe once it is worn in, and 2) the sole and/or liner could be a bet thicker to insulate one's feet from rough surfaces, such as my gravel driveway.

Good fit, excellent quality - could stand a little better tread ands would be better if made in USA

These would be 5+ stars if they would just go back to the old "wedge" soles and leave the narrow toe paradigm behind (also on their classic blucher). When you get it right the first time there's no need to make changes. If you were wearing these in the '70s and '80s then you know what I'm talking about.

Previously I bought two pair of the heavy duty version (thicker sole and heel) of these camp mocs and loved them. Unfortunately they were discontinued so I opted for this pair. They seem very well made and look good. Upon arrival they felt somewhat tight, but LL Bean thoughtfully included a card reminding the customer that since these were handsewn, it will take a bit for the leather to stretch. My only critique is that the sole and heel are very thin. Thus one wouldn't want to walk far in these. Also because of the thinness, especially at the heel, my pair of jeans will hit the floor, which is not a problem with other shoes that have a normal heel height. If a little thickness could be added these shoes would rate 5 stars. LL Bean, please bring back the heavy duty camp mocs!

This are great for camping and around the house. Great fit, takes a little breaking in.
The laces always come untied, I forgot about that, because I've had these before.
I'm a size 11 and I like to wear them with out socks. I ordered 11's and they are a little big with no socks.

These shoes look a lot better in the flesh than they do in the pictures provided here on the website. The brown pebble grain leather has a nice color and texture. I wish they'd go back to the old traditional moccasin sole, and I'd prefer a leather insole, but these are hard to beat for the money. Extremely comfortable.

My husband has been wearing the LL Bean Camp Moc as his everday shoe for over 25 years. I order, on average, 2 pair a year since, unfortunately, the soles wear out..they tend to separate from the uppers. The stitching is also not as good as it it used to be. However, in comparison to other items being produced now, the quality is still fairly good. I am also really pleased that Bean has not raised the price on these shoes in a number of years..Thank you very much!! My only real complaint is that they are not made in the USA.

I received my first pair of these as a gift several years ago. Since they're dressy enough that I can get away with them at work and comfortable enough for a fair bit of city walking, I wear them most every day. I seem to wear through the soles in about two years. Good solid shoes at a reasonable price.

I love this shoe...I had some trouble sizing it as I needed a wide. I usually take a 9 in just about any shoe so I was surprised that I needed a wide in this one. I ended up sending this shoe back a few times before I got the right size, but once I did it was worth it. Like I said I take a 9 reg but I had to get an 8 1/2 wide to make it fit. So I would say they run a bit long and a bit narrow. Other than that...great buy.

I purchased a pair of Camp Mocs several years ago in the cactus color. At that time LL Bean sold them in narrow sizes. Those Camp Mocs fit perfectly and I still wear them today. I recently purchased a pair of the Camp Mocs in brown. Nice looking shoe. LL Bean does not offer the narrow size any longer so I had to purchase the medium width which is a size D. This makes the shoe a little to wide for me. It slides up and down on my heel. The length is ok. I am trying to decide whether to keep them or not. I really do like the shoe.
