Having a wide feet, the toe box in size wide is wonderful. I can feel my toes having space in the shoe. Wonderful.

I was running in Riveras and Rivera 2's. Glad I made the transition to these. They are perfect for all the long distance road running I am currently doing

The Altra Torin 6 is an extremely comfortable running shoe. It is lightweight, very breathable to help prevent sweaty feet, and has a wide toe box to prevent your toes from being smushed together. I've used these for jogging on concrete and on the treadmill at the gym and think they're great.
The Torin 6 has a good amount of cushion and bounce so my feet and knees don't get tired as I'm jogging. The gray upper is a very thin mesh that lets your feet breath keeping foot sweat and odor to a minimum. The tongue of the shoe is thin so it easily wraps around your foot without adding pressure to the top of your foot. The raised heel collar helps keep your foot snuggly inside the shoe so you don't have to worry about it slipping out during a run.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Very Breathable
- Lots of cushion to absorb shock
- Soft Raised heel collar keeps foot snuggly in place
- Wide toe Box
- Good tread provides a nice grip of the ground when jogging or running
Cons:
- The insole it comes with is paper thin (most shoes come with similar thin insoles) and needs to be replaced with your own better insole.

This is my first pair of running shoes from Altra and I have very good impression of it. Wide toebox is a nice feature. Sole is squishy. Nice arch support. I think outsole can be sturdier, but current is ok too. Gonna buy another pair.

Love the Torin 6. Love the laces, love the heel, love the cushioning - it's just right - not too soft, not too hard. I've only done a short run so far but I can tell these shoes will have a prime spot in the rotation!

Overall I like/recommend the Altra Torin 6. I have run just over 30 miles in these across 6 runs. One speed workout and the others between 3 and 6 miles. I like the cushioning under the toes and how there is a lot of space in the toe box. Another bonus to me is the fit in the heel area. No foot pain or blisters from running in these so far.
These have earned a spot in my shoe rotation - I typically rotate between a pair of Saucony and Under Armour shoes.
I don't normally focus much on the appearance of running shoes but I do like the way these look.

I just got back from a trip to New Orleans, and packed these shoes for my morning runs and walking around the city. They did not disappoint. When I first put them on I was slightly concerned that I should have broken them in first, but after the first mile, I wouldn't have known they were new at all. They fit like a glove and we're incredibly comfortable. Even after my morning run, they stayed comfortable while walking over 10 miles a day. Absolutely worth it.

this sneaker is a great advancement for the industry-- wide toe boxes are very comfortable and this shoe provides extra support and cushioning-- I returned by Brooks adrenaline for this shoe- a plus!

It's like being hugged by a pillow while walking on clouds. These shoes are amazing comfortable and soft while still light weight. Hitting the gym, speed walking through and airport or running a 10k, it doesn't matter these shoes are perfect for it.

I love the amount of cushion and yet how light weight these shoes are. Perfect for anything from a tempo to long slow distance. Not to mention, I got the Wides, which fit well on my 4E feet, which is a hard thing to find. The pair perfectly with the lone peaks (also in wide) for me depending on which terrain I decide to run. Will definitely be purchasing another pair.

Honestly is the most comfortable shoe I have walked on. The size and the support is unconditional. However, I'm a person that runs mostly on a treadmill and I think is the shoes is too heavy for it. On the hand, I run outdoor as well and and this is the best shoe for it. It feels you walking on clouds. I highly recommend this for outdoor runners.

When I first opened the package, the first thing in noticed was how wide the front of the show is in relation to other running shoes. I also noticed the sole in it's entirety is wider than your average shoe. Overall, the shoe is very lightweight. Once I put the shoe on, I realized the wider, more rounded tip of the shoe allows your toes to rest naturally rather than compressed as they are in other shoes. The wider sole also provides a greater level of comfort and stability. Also, the sole affords tremendous cushioning and shock absorption. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! The one minor thing that I would share, and this is just a personal preference; I wish the laces were a bit wider. Other than that thumbs up across the board.

This is my first time running in a wider box shoe, and am very impressed. I have enjoyed the comfort and cushion provided. I think this is a great shoe for long to intermediate runs. I haven't tried it yet, but not sure about the performance during speed work. Overall would recommend the Altra shoes.

These shoes are so light that it feels like you are walking on the cloud. I love the mix of colors and that they have so many sizing options and variety of colors for men and women. Even my wife wanted to try my pair as it is hard for her to find good fitting shoes.

These shoes are a bit narrow at the tip but other than that, they are true to size. The shoes were pretty comfortable while running but the soles I wouldn't say give much support. Overall I would say these shoes are a decent running shoe.

The size met my expectations and you can really feel the cushion. I used this to run errands and felt like I was able to zip around faster and had a bit more bounce. I am a fast walker and could feel how this would support you on a run. For a running shoe it didnt have any hard parts that would get annoying or hurt after a while. I am unable to upload my picture or video due to the size limits

I had never heard Altra until I tried these and Oh My Gosh! I've never felt a shoe that feels so comfortable straight out of the box!! They are light, form fitting for my slightly wider foot. The toe box is perfect! I've paid a lot of money for foot comfort in the past and not felt a product that feels this comfortable!

The Torin 6 is more comfortable and has more support than Torin 5. In fact, the outsole wears down much slower than the prior model. Have had some minor issues with tears in the outer sides of the shoes as early as 2 months into usage, but still usable.
Caution: For those living in cities, don't walk on grates along narrow sidewalks (New York City) in Altra branded shoes. The bottom rubber is not a singular piece and will detach in pieces.

I was initially just looking for a new running shoe. After realizing how light and comfortable these shoes actually are, I decided to use them for work at the hospital as well. I stand and am mobile for 12+ hours on shift and these Altra's have made a positive difference in how I feel during and after work. I recommend this shoe if you're in the market for either new runners or for the practicality of work use.

I have not had a good running shoe like this in a long time. The shape of the shoe fits more aligned than any I have ever run in, and the shoes are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I've always been in Altras for the trail, but unsatisfied with past non-trail altras. These are the shoe for me though and replacing my hokas and NBs that I have for everyday walking and running. S

Great fit and cushion- hits the right spot in terms of soft vs responsive. More heel/cuff padding than prior model- seems to much to me but not causing me any problems. Overall excellent shoe.
