These really felt bad. I love the Bondi 7's. I ordered wide width, and the bottom cut into my arch. Not good.

Well constructed and put together well, however the new heel made it feel and look a bit clunky to me. I felt like they were a half size too large but they were just that way because of the new design. Not quite what I was expecting otherwise well-made for its purpose.

I had heard so much about Hoka and really wanted to like them. I thought they would be the solution to my knee problem from ACL surgery. However, everytime I wore them I felt pain in my feet and legs and it was such an unpleasant experience to take a walk and it never got better. I'm going back to my Brooks sneakers.

Not a fan of the Bondi 8 iteration. I'm not alone in this. // The Bondi 7 was MUCH more comfortable. This one is hard underfoot. The tongue is too thick. The difference between the heel stack and forefoot stack is too much (I don't like the forefoot being so much lower than the heel), the sole of the foot splays out too much. Looks like clown shoes.

I really liked the Hoka Bondi 7. These are narrower in the middle of the foot/quite narrow though I ordered wide. The bottom of the shoe rubs uncomfortably and causes my foot to pronate. Returning. Disappointed.

The Bondi 8 is not an improvement for me. They are difficult to put on due to tightness across the top of the foot. They rub on my little toes. Overall they're uncomfortable. So, I am now looking for another favorite shoe, without much luck so far.

Sizing and fit were spot on but the problem is they look like clown shoes. The rubber soles project so far out and adding to the fact I wear a wide shoe and it was a NO for me. I really felt like my feet arrived in the room seconds before the rest of me and it made me more concerned that I would "bump" into things. Hoka, I had high hopes for these shoes. The comfort and size were spot on but the appearance was the deal killer for me. Please improve these. I don't need to add a red nose and squirting bow tie to my wardrobe.

I ordered these Hokas with such high hopes and to be honest the fit, comfort and arch support is excellent. The main problem is the look. I have to wear a wide width shoe because of a bunion. No problem. I've worn plenty of shoes with a wide width. It's the styling of these that is way off. For some reason the rubber soles in this design flare outward. Maybe it was also the gray on gray color but honestly, I think it would look the same in any color combo. I put them on and it looked like I was wearing clown shoes. Walking around the house, I kept feeling like I was going to trip. Like the shoe would arrive at my location a few seconds before me. Lol. I compared them to other sneakers by NB and Brooks and the toe box is the same but the base was more in line with the shoe. So sadly, these are going back. Disappointed because they do have an awesome fit. Hoka, please keep this in mind when designing a wide width shoe. I really don't want to be in the circus. :-(

Do not buy the bondi 8! I have been a loyal hoka wearer but they have redesigned the heel area and as a runner, I am wearing holes in the heels within a month. On my 3rd pair of exchanged hokas due to the heel wearing. I compared to a Hoka 7 that is still have in the garage and they removed all heel padding. Dont waste your money!

Bulk and hard to walk, yet alone run with. Not for everyone.

I wore Hokas for work all the time, I wore a Bondi 6 which was a perfect fit. These did not fit well, they were too large.

Recommended by an ortho MD. But definitely not for me. Narrow in the toe box, and tight overall. Sorry Zappos, I love your customer service.

For some reason, arch support hurt my feet and knees, width was perfect. Hoping these shoes would work for me. Had to return.

These used to be my favorite shoes. But this pair is much larger than the last pair I bought. Also, they look cheap. The fabric is wrinkled and the color looks faded. I am returning them and am going to look for a new brand to try.

Bondi 8 is a downgrade from Bondi 7. And Bondi 7 was a downgrade from Bondi 6. They should go back to Bondi 6. Bondi 8 material is cheap and the shoes are very uncomfortable. It feels like my toes are going to go right through the material. And they are very ugly compared to Bondi 7 and 6. What happened?

Wore these shoes walking my dog. Tripped and fell on hard cement because padding is so obtrusive. Returning due to fall. I am not old and did not trip over anything. The extra padding must have got caught on the cement.

They are too wide. trip hazard for lateral movement.

This high quality shoe is not a good fit for my foot. The heel is too loose and the toe box is too narrow.

been loving Hoka's but these make my feet look huge! Unhappy with this choice.

The shoe is smaller and narrower than i'd like, and i bought a wide. I'd love it if Hoka had an extra wide as this shoe is too narrow. . The padding is awesome!

I really wanted to love these sneaks bc I really love the hoka brand! I have the carbon x and Mach 5’s. I’m 6 months pregnant though and started needing better padded running shoes to support my weight. I purchased these given how much cushioning they provide but the sole of the shoe feels like it’s meant for people with certain curves and arches on their foot. My run felt ok at first but then the pressure on the sides of my foot started to really hurt me. Sadly once you use the shoes you can’t return them so I think I’m stuck with these but I’m def disappointed given how my other Hokas fit me. *sigh*
