I can’t believe that Hoka has ruined this shoe. Been wearing the Bondi for several years and this model is HORRIBLE. Too narrow, not as much cushion, heel padding is legitimately painful. Going to have to go back to Brooks I guess, but I need the plush cushioning of what Bondi use to be.

The quality is way below the Bondi style. The loop at the back was a piece of string. For the amount charged for Hoka ALL styles should be the same...from Rincon to Bondi

The shoe as a whole was very poorly made. Looked like someone wore it for a while and returned it. I have bought the same shoe previously and it was no way near what I received before. Very disappointed.

Although, I love the shoe, I felt like it was too bulky for me.

These are the most uncomfortable sneakers. I had never had sneakers until this pair that I cannot wear shopping or for any walking activity. They have to be defective. My Bondi 7’s are extremely comfortable.

Strange fit on this version. 1/2 size smaller compared to Bondi 7. And toe box too narrow. I have a narrow foot but need toe room. Both little toes are compressed. I ordered a wide version which does give me more toe box room but the metatarsal part of the shoe is much too wide. And I don't understand the thinking in having such a WIDE outsole! It's like a snow shoe! Dangerous maneuvering steps. And comfort provided by the cushioned sole is eclipsed by the fit problems. Can't you just make a shoe with more toe width?

Somewhat disappointed in the shoe. I have worn the Bondi 7 and really loved the shoe. The Bondi 8 feels to wide and does cradle my foot the way the 7 did. Since I have worn them I am stuck with a very expensive shoe that is not comfortable at all

These did not fit like the older ones. The toe box super wide and I started having heel pain. Returning them asap

I was very disappointed in these shoes. They actually seemed to "roll" my foot in and put a lot of pressure on my big toes, causing pain for hours after wearing. They also did not seem to have any arch support. I have returned them.

By the second day of walking in the shoes I felt like my arches were bruised.
