I have worn the Hoka one one bondi for years. this bondi 8 that I purchased. does not feel at all like the previous bondi I have purchased. I had hoped that waring the shoe to " them break in" may ease in to the cushion and very comfortable feel of past bondi shoes but sadly this is not the case. It was like nothing matched to my foot.

The shoe fit great, width and arch support good. When I walk shoe makes squeaky sound. I would like to exchange them.

I normally wear LLBean 7 W. I bought these in 7.5 W. I bought this during Xmas season but I didn't wear them in the winter because they are not warm or waterproof. I started wearing them in the spring. When I walked three or four miles, I noticed that my left small toe became sore and tender. Then the nail turned black. My big toe got sore too. The shoes are not as wide as I thought. The thick rubber sole wraps around and irritates my toes.

I tried this shoe because of all the glowing reviews, but i found the fit to be narrow and overall too firm. I need a wider toe box and much more cushioning.

DO NOT BUY!!! The 2023 model is 40% less comfortable than the 2022 model. I work on my feet on concrete for 14-16 hrs a day, 5 days a week. These used to be the only shoe that I could be in all day and it would save my joints, knees, and back. Whatever they did to this model has made them significantly less comfortable. I alternate the different shoes each day and I look forward to the days when I have to wear the 2022 model. Not sure if they made the change to save money or because of inflation, but this is very sad to me. I believed in these shoes so much that by my word-of-mouth, I know 20-30 people with these shoes. Now I tell them to steer clear. I hope very much that they will go back to the old sole. Unfortunately history says otherwise. How many products became "nerfed" or "inferior" because of companies trying to make more money by saving money? So very sad. If you agree, please let your voice be heard. These shoes are too expensive for them to become less comfortable. DO NOT BUY!

Felt narrow, uncomfortable. Style is horrible. I looked like I had clown shoes on. Huge, huge shoes.

The shoes are gorgeous. They are very comfortable on first trying them on, but they are very very narrow in the toe box. You have to wear the shoes to see if they fit, but 2 days in, I have a huge blister on my right big toe and my foot is in excruciating pain. I desperately wish I could return these very high priced shoes. Very disappointed but if you have a very narrow toe area, they might work for you. Note: I never wear wide shoes.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but they were terrible on my knees -- which I guess can happen sometimes. I bought them as walking shoes for a trip to Europe, and was surprised to feel knee pain that grew progressively worse over the time that we were there. I was doing a fair amount of walking, 7-10 miles a day, and after switching shoes out, I realized that the Hokas were contributing to that. Knee pain went away after I stopped wearing them. Tried them again at home on moderate walks around the neighborhood, and knee pain quickly came back. I know that they are great for many but the cushioned footbed pushed my weight too far forward on the balls of my feet, I think. Hoka has a 30 day return policy if you buy directly from them, but Zappos typically doesn't honor that, just fyi -- though Zappos customer service did help me with this issue, thanks for the great customer service, Zappos !

Hoka Bondi 7s are pure perfection. Why the drastic change? I can overlook the appearance for comfort, but they just felt off to me after wearing the 7s. I wear a wide and they look wide on your feet, but the width is not in the toe box. I also found the heel was very tight. There is a lot of padding there that felt unnecessary. Sadly, I am moving on from Hoka for now. I really hope they bring back the "Hoka 7 classic". Anyone remember "New Coke"?

I purchased the Bondi 7 last year and I loved them as soon as I put them on. They fit perfectly and we’re so comfortable. I would have purchased another pair but there weren’t any available so I went with the Bondi 8. No thank you! They aren’t as comfortable and the one shoe is too small. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I am very disappointed in the Woman’s Bondi 8 Wide. It is narrower in the toe box which is resulting in a blister. The description of the new Bondi 8 Wide did not say that the toe box in the wide would be narrower. I wish that the 7 was still available.

I liked the fit and feel of these shoes, but the thick, tall soles caused me to trip. I can't take the risk of falling, so I sent them back.

The toe box in the Bondi 8 is narrower than the 7. I read the description of the Bondi 8 before I ordered & it didn't mention that they did that. I am now starting to get blisters on my toes. Sadly, the Bondi 7 is no longer available . I am very disappointed with the Bondi 8.

I haven't worn Hoka before and decided to try them. My usual size was hugely too big, one size down was hugely too big, yet another size down was tight. I like the Hoka concept, but I've tried--and returned--three sizes. I give up.

First, these shoes were used! They had someone’s insoles inside and they came in a bag (no box). Second, Hoka has changed the design and the toe box is much narrower. They are not comfortable. I have been wearing the Hoka Bondi’s for years so I am very disappointed in Hoka and Zappos.

Bought these to assist in my gait walking post Achilles tendon surgery. Very comfortable but hurts at the heel d/t my incision rubbing on heel. Had to return them. They are comfy and are the go to shoes working in a hospital. Just did not work for me.

Although both sneakers, off white and black, fit properly, the style of the show makes might feet look like "clown feet". The area under the ball of the feet is too wide and sticks out from the sneaker itself. The padding is extremely comfortable but the look is just not for me.

This is the worst running shoe I've ever tried. I'm a marathon runner and I have trained in many different brands of shoes: Saucony, New Balance, Brooks, and even the new Tracksmith. With the exception of running in long races in inclement weather, I have never gotten blisters--even when running in new sneakers. The Bondi 8 gave me the worst blisters on my big toes I have ever experienced in my life within just a few miles. Some will say that the toe box is narrow and that if that happens, the runner should choose the wide option. I do not have wide feet. On the contrary, I found that my toes fit comfortably in the toe box but no matter how I tied the laces, my feet would go numb, forcing me to constantly stop my run. In addition, I found the the arch of the shoe ran incredibly hot (even in cold weather), so much so that it felt the rubber was baking into my sock. I tried running in different types of socks of different fabrications--no luck. I purchased the shoes thinking that there was a 30-day guarantee if they did not work out. In my haste, I did not realize that only certain running shoes apply to this guarantee. Oh well. Will be the last time I try Hokas.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Saucony

These are ridiculous. They feel big and sloppy, the heel is so oversized that I feel clownish wearing them. The Bondi 7's were perfect. I don't know why this redesign was necessary. Ugh. I've worn them once and I'll probably donate them someplace bc sending them back is too much trouble.
