My arches hurt, blisters in my toes, legs and back hurt real bad
I purchased these because of the recommendation, and ratings Very dissatisfied. My sketchers held up better than these.
Disappointed,

Because it's supposed to be reflective, it makes the al white shoe look blue or grey on the shoe laces and the sole of the shoe. So be wary, the white shoe is not as advertised at all. Still a cute and comfortable shoe in general, but if you're looking for all white look elsewhere.

I have chronic foot pain. I did some research amongst my nurse friends and many recommended Hoka. Unfortunately, after one 12-hour shift at the hospital, my feet are hurting horribly.

arches are too high, extremely uncomfortable. back collar is too high, rubs on the ankle bone.
I was really looking forward to these shoes for the highest cushion rating.

I bought the Hoka Bondi 8 which came highly recommended by my friend. They are said to be really cushioned, good arches. I could not feel the arches ( mine are high) and nor did they feel very cushioned. IMO for the high price they don't live up to the hype. Just don't work for me.

I bought these shoes (along with 3 other shoes) in a size 9 wide since I was told the toe box was a bit small. they are very cushiony and add about 2 inches to your height. The arch of the shoe was oddly placed and dug into my foot in a very painful way. And it was exactly the size of my foot. I typically wear an 8.5 regular. I returned them and reordered a 9.5 hoping that the larger size would fix this issue. The 9.5 was definitely a better fit, and much more comfortable. it gave my toes the wiggle room they needed. however, the frame of the shoe was still digging into the arch of my foot. I decided to find a store that sold Hoka brand and try them in-store to see if the other sizes or regular/wide would be better. I tried 9 pairs of shoes from this brand and they all did the same thing. I started to think I was going crazy and maybe my feet were just weird. I had my mother and friend try the shoes as well and they had the same complaint that it dug into their arch. This Bondi one was the worst and made a red mark on my foot from where the frame pushed on my arch and hurt the most. I recommend if you want to buy this shoe that you find a store and try it on and save yourself the hassle of paying hundreds+ of dollars and having to return it. Like I did and play a game of ordering more and returning them. The refund also does not come back till after they receive them and review it so it could take 15 days. I got the orders much quicker than that so in the process out almost $700 waiting to be refunded, afraid to buy another one that does the same thing. I would not recommend this shoe if you have not tried it before. After trying to see if this was just a few people's issue I have found multiple complaints and Readit threads about this issue.

I went for the wide width since I saw other reviews that said shoe was narrow. Even the wide width was too narrow for my foot. The insole on the sides where digging into my foot. It was very uncomfortable and unwearable.

I have always bought Clifton's in the past. I was excited to try something new so I bought the Bondi. They are a higher shoe which is nice and it was easy to get use to! I thought I just had break the Bondi shoe in. After putting in some miles, I felt the Clifton's had more support and cushion. I do not feel any soft cushion in the Bondi. My feet actually hurt in the Bondi which I have never had in the multiple Clifton's I have purchased and worn.

Go back to the Bondi 7's. The new sales on the 8's are way to wide. I am afraid I am going to trip over myself. It also makes you feel like a clown.
I'd also recommend:

It set me so far back into my heels, my posture bent forward when walking in them. I always look for a wedge type shoe. BUT an exception oddly is the Hoka running shoe that literally forces me to immediately roll to the ball of my foot; a great thing. I wear the running shoe for everyday now. Weird right? But Feet/ Shoes/ and Posture are all interrelated.

I bought a wide width on advice of my podiatrist, to leave room for my bunions. The sole is not too flexible, which I need, and the shoe is VERY comfortably cushioned, but -- I wear prescription orthotics, and the toebox felt small, even with the wide width. My big toe went to sleep. I don't know if it's because of the toebox itself or something about the very cushy sole. (Yes, I did take out the removable insole that comes with the shoe before inserting my orthotics. I don't have the same problem with New Balance 840)
I also have to say, the sole of the shoe extends way out past the sides of my feet - the sneaker is super stable because of that, which is great, but I kept whacking my ankle with the opposite foot when I walked!

This shoes looks great, but it was the exact same size as my other Hokas and was tight all over. Had to return.

I have had 2 pairs of Bondi models. The sole of this model is very wide and unattractive. I kept tripping on in these shoes.

For one foot, the edge of the insert that comes with the shoe dug into my arch and left an angry red line even on short walks. (The other foot was fine. Go figure.)

These are comically wide on the bottoms. There is no way I could be seen in public with a shoe that looks like it belongs under a circus tent.

The heel fit perfectly, but the entire sneaker felt like wearing a tugboat ... too bulky.
I'd also recommend:
No sneaker seems to fit my narrow foot without serious heel slippage.

This shoe was extremely wide in the toe box. After I purchased, I did read on their website that a wide toe box is their specialty. So I guess it's my mistake.
