I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. I got the white Bondi 8 and I love the style and fit but I ordered white shoes and these are light blue. Came with blue laces too.

I LOVED my Bondi 7 HOKAs. I showed them off to everyone and talked about how comfortable they were and how well they had held up. Wore them every day at work (I work in Healthcare) for about a year before deciding it was time to look for a new pair. I was disappointed that the Bondi 7 was no longer available, but willing to try Bondi 8. Since there are absolutely no locations within 1.5 hours of me that have more than 1 or 2 pairs of HOKAs in stock, I have to place my orders online. Immediately upon trying the Bondi 8 on, I realized that I'd have to go up half a size, as the toe area was significantly tighter than the 7s. Upon receiving the larger size, I found they fit ok, but not nearly as well as the 7s. However, I felt I should give them a chance after loving the 7s so much. I've been wearing them off and on at work for a few months and they are starting to really hurt my feet. Very disappointed with the changes Hoka made here. I will not be purchasing again.

So disappointed. Bondi's used to be so soft and cushiony. The 8's may have a very thick sole, but it is very hard - not like prior versions which felt like walking on clouds. Also, toe bed is larger and has more loose fabric and the right shoe has more of a protrusion in the medial arch area compared to the left which will likely cause a blister. Great neutral color (sand & eggnog), but not worth the cost!

I got these for Christmas and was sooo excited to wear them ... but they are light/icy blue / lilac.. I have exchanged in hopes it's a one off (even though others have noted this) because I'm really hoping for a true white. Love the shoes, can't deal with the color.

I have had my Hokas since August. I do not use them to exercise, but I do wear them frequently. One shoe already has a hole in the toe and both shoes have the color worn off the edges. They look horrible but they are still very comfortable. For the price, I should be able to wear them for 6 months with light use without them falling apart.

I did not like these shoes at all, and I could live with that as we are all different and this is simply not the support that i need. The problem has been the awfulness of dealing with a making the return. Nearly 30 days has gone by since I mailed the return (and only tried on, not worn) and I am still out the money. I am very hesitant to try any other shoes from this company, and don't find the descriptions helpful in choosing the right one.

I used the sizing chart to figure out what size I would be ( I'm normally a 7 1/2)I tried a few other brands that I wear and the size chart said I'd be a size 8. So I ordered a size 8. Well should have stuck with my size 7 1/2 because the size 8 that was suggested is too big. Very disappointed. I usually never buy shoes online. Lesson learned.

I have three pairs of Bondi 7 shoes and love all three of them. I wanted an all black version to wear as a step up from my Bondi 7s. The Bondi 8 doesn't seem like it's at all related to the 7. It was nowhere near as comfortable and it looked like a pair of clown shoes - very wide in the front. I did not order wide shoes. All in all a big disappointment.

I have been buying Hoka brand for about 3years and have always felt that they suited my needs best. However, the last pair I bought didn't meet my expectations. Normally, I love whatever it is you use to make the insoles. The extra cushion make my feet feel great even though I have been on them all day. The Bondi 8 didn't do that. For the price I would think they should also have that type of insoles.

I got my normal size 10 in sneakers. The right shoe is uncomfortable - it feels like the material is not molding to/fitting my arch. I will probably exchange or go back to Nike. Not sure if this is a size thing or poor construction...

I have purchased 3 pair of the Bondi 7 in the past. They were the most comfortable, plushiest shoe that I've ever worn. I needed a new pair, so I purchased the new Bondi 8. They feel NOTHING like the 7's. I was so disappointed in them that I returned them. Not sure why you had to change them up, but now I'm on the hunt for a different brand that can compare to them. I will say I have a pair of the Clifton 9 and they are okay, but nothing like the Bondi 7's.

Bondis have been my favorite for cushioning but with the 8s the heel juts out. I have had a couple of close calls going down steps when out walking and had to catch myself from falling. With this hazard I'm sad, but will try another style in hopes their cushioning is close to that of the Bondi.

I've tried to love Hokas but they do NOT work for my feet. I don't think that running shoes should need a break in period where you have blisters (unlike sandals or leather sneakers). I purchased these in store and wore them for a full week, walked/ran around 30 miles, and I got the WORST blisters on the inside of my heel. It was so painful to walk in these. Pro tip: keep your receipt and purchase from Hoka.com or an authorized retailer so you can return if you don't like them. They have a 30 day guarantee, so even if you wear them, you can return them for a full refund which is what I did.

I love Hoka running shoes and wanted to purchase the Bondi style again. The old pair I have provides excellent support where I needed and felt so comfortable (cushiony) on my feet so it felt amazing while running. This time I ordered it from the Hoka website expecting this year's Bondi to be the same. Not the case. It doesn't feel at all like my previous pair. My feet ache a little every time I run with the new pair. The shoe isn't cushiony and the parts of my shoe that offer support are uncomfortable. I'm disappointed and now have to find a different style or different brand.

Loved my Clifton 8's but didn't care for the new Clifton 9 design, so thought I'd try the Bondi. Cushion was great but the heel was very deep and slipped a lot. The Bondi was more uncomfortable than the Clifton 9. Really wish Hoka would bring back the Clifton 8

The first time the shoes were put on, the heel strap pulled out on one end. Hokas are typically better.

I love these shoes but they are already falling apart. The seam is creating and the fabric is falling apart. I've had these shoes for less than a year and only wear them to work. I do not think these shoes are worth the price

I loved my Clifton's and people at my nursing job praised about the Bondi's so I decided to try them plus they're cuter, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. They kept affecting my arch and would get painful towards half way of my shift. I thought they needed to be broken but it's been 3 months now and my feet are not happy.

From a cushion standpoint, these shoes are fantastic. I am a long time Brooks wearer and decided to try out Hoka for the extra cushion. Sadly, I think I will be going back to Brooks. Immediately I started getting blisters in both my arches. I thought maybe I could "break them in" and it would go away - which made me miss my return date - and sadly the blisters never subsided. I even tried swapping the soles from my Brooks to the Hokas to see if that helped and it didn't. I'm not quite sure what the issue is other than I know they are wider than my Brooks so I am guessing that's the issue. If you have average width feet, these might not be for you!

I got the Arahi first and ordered this one for my plantar fasciitis but there's no cushion on the side at all. I even added an insole to see if it would help but does nothing. I think this would be best for those who have NO foot issues and want it for just walking around for short periods of time. Going to return this one too.

I was hesitant to buy these shoes due to the price. Hoka came highly recommended by friends and my podiatrist. These shoes felt great when I first started wearing them. Was thrilled to have less foot pain. After about 2 months they started rubbing on the side of my big toe and rubbing on the sides of my little toe. I'm on my feet for about 9 hours a day and I feel like they have caused even more foot pain.

The shoes fit too large in the front. Like clown shoes. The outside of the shoe, the width is too large where you stumble with the other shoe if not careful! Makes the shoe and foot look large and oddly.
