I purchased a pair of Bondi 8s' in June and I was so happy to finally find a pair of shoes that were wide enough and fit with my high arch. I own my own business and wear them at least 16 hours a day in wet and dirty conditions. They have held up well. After 6 months I felt it was time for a new pair and ordered the same shoe and size. They are short and not even close to a wide enough. I had to go looking for a different brand of shoe. I hope one day you will make a GTX and I will try again. I really didn't want to change.
Hopefull,

I went to a retail store to try on the Bondi 8 wide and they were extremely comfortable. When I ordered the same shoe and size through Hoka's website they were way too tight in the width I returned them and exchanged them for a half size bigger. I'm still waiting for my new size to be delivered.

I wore them to work the next day and they weren't that comfortable. I have to stand on my feet all day so they were not that great. I really like the rincons though.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but they just didn't fit right on me. My feet kept rolling to the outer edge. I had to return these.

I ordered white. These shoes are not white, they are listed as white but are a light blue color.

The design was absolutely beautiful on these shoes, unfortunately the same could not be said for comfort. If you have a low arch and overpronation this is not the shoe for you! I put the shoe on and it instantly felt like I had a hard tube up against the middle of my arch. Be sure to do your homework and find out what kind of shoe you need before you buy!

I have 2 other pairs of Hoka in wide width and I love them. This style however is not wide. They were so tight. I returned them the next day.

I’m giving up on this shoe. Every time they update the Bondi it gets worse. The toe box is now enormous, and it doesn’t feel like there is any cushioning. Very hard soles.

I bought my first pair of Bondi 8 from a running store near me, and they've been a game changer for mobility. I have severe osteoarthritis in my left knee and have struggled to find a show that would minimize pain when walking. I put 18 miles on this pair walking around Chicago the following 3 days after purchase and never looked back.
I purchased my 2nd pair less than a month later on the Hoka website. Same shoe, same size, but different color. They are a little stiffer than the 1st pair, but all seemed well until this weekend. Part of the rubber tread is coming off the bottom. I'm a middle-aged woman who only wears my Bondi 8 shoes for walking around and I work from home. I use a recumbent bike for exercise in my basement, with different shoes. My point is that the wear and tear on my black Bondi 8 shoes has been minimal and there is no excuse for such poor quality for this price. I have pictures but there is no place to upload on this site.
I bought a third pair but after looking at the specs, went with the men's version in size 8, per the recommendation from the Hoka website. The color I wanted wasn't available in women's wide, and women's size 9.5 wide is 4 & 1/64 inches while men's regular size 8 is listed as 4 & 1/64 inches. Unfortunately, the sizing specs listed is not completely true, and the men's shoes been a little narrow, so I'm wearing them around the house to break them in.
Rating:
1st pair of shoes were comfortable and a perfect fit, and I wanted to buy more. 5/5 stars
2nd pair of shoes were a good fit but has rubber tread coming off despite minimum wear and tear. 0/5
3rd pair of shoes is men's size due to minimal color selection for women's wide and are too narrow. 3/5

I'm an RN and care for spastic quadriplegic children. I have a lot of foot pain and was just diagnosed with bursitis in both feet. I purchased Challengers in August and found them to be more comfortable than other brands. I recently ordered Bondi 8 as they are described as "plush" and thought they would be a better choice than the Challenger for comfort. They are a lot LESS comfortable. They feel very hard and not forgiving at all. Maybe your description is wrong... I'm quite disappointed.

I was so excited for these shoes, I have heard so much about Hoka shoes but The shoes caused discomfort as they hurt my arch; I feel the knot in my arch after I wore them for 30 mins. they were not comfortable. Initially, I thought they were too small, so I gave them another shot by purchasing a larger size. However, they still caused pain, so I returned them. Despite being lightweight with beautiful colors and a lovely design, they were not comfortable. It's disappointing that I never want to put them back on, prompting me to return them.

My mistake for not noticing Bondi 8 doesn't have the easy slip on feature, the back folds in when trying to slip into. That plus I should have ordered it in "wide" are making these Hokas very uncomfortable.

For the first 3 hours it felt great and I thought finally, a shoes that actually works and isn't causing severe pain on my foot until after three hours and my foot felt as though it was on fire for the rest of my work hours. Worst pain I felt so far. Just didn't work for me, sadly. O top of that, the toe box is bit too small. Better if they wide it a bit as our toes properly is.

I ordered the Bondi 8 from 2 different locations thinking i ordered the wrong shoe the first time. The white color is blue, the shoe is blue and the laces are blue and it has it as white on every website they are sold, and the photo is white as well. There is no other option for white for this style. Im so disappointed because i really like the shoe but the color isnt what i wanted nor do they even offer it. Hoka should really take white off as the color, its is very misleading.

The exaggerated, extended width of the sole - especially forefoot - is like walking in snowshoes. It sticks out so far beyond the rest of the upper that if your feet aren't exactly straight and a certain distance apart, they hit in passing. The insole isn't as cushy as I'd hoped, but with time might have been fine. But since I can't walk in them without tripping, they are going back.

The Hoka Bondi 8's run very small. According to Hoka's own size chart, the size 5 medium should have fit me perfectly, but they're extremely narrow. At first I thought they just needed breaking in, but I wore them on a few long walks/hikes, and had blisters afterwards. Going to find out if it's possible to return them. It's unfortunate, because I love the thick cushioned sole and the bright colors.

Have been a bondi fan for years. The Bondi 7 was perfect, and these are not the same. Toe box feels wider and arch is tight. Please, hoka, please bring back the old design!
