I saved up a lot of Bean's Bucks to help pay for Hokas which seemed to have just what I wanted--a very cushioned feel and cute colors. When they came I was sooo disappointed because the cushioning wasn't there and they felt clunky.
Sent them back and got a Brooks shoe that isn't as cute but feels lovely with each step!

I have been wearing Bondi for years! The new Bondi 8 wide tapers too drastically and is painful on the side of the foot. This is very disappointing as the cushion feel of the shoe is good for plantar fibromatosis.

Hoka is such a comfortable shoe. This was my first...and last pair of Bondis. I just returned these after wearing for 10 months. I am a late 70's arthritic grandmother who walks a mile a half every day in her neighborhood. I'm not a "serious athlete". Look at the photos I attached. The rubber soles are completely destroyed. I've had Cliftons which I still wear for leisure and those soles are still in good condition. Thank you, Zappos for refunding the price. This is the first time I've used this very generous return policy. I hope it's the last time.

I have big wide feet most every shoe I buy is a 10W this shoe is to small in the toe box. Wide feet don't need a tapered toe box. So now I have to wait until January sometime before the shoe is available again. What fun

I loved these shoes at first but after a little over a year of wearing them, the back inside of the heel is completely broken down. I work 12 hour shifts and after some time I noticed something hard poking one of my feet as I walked and when I looked there was a hole in the back heel with some sort of plastic sticking out - shortly after, the other shoe had the same issue. After some research and talking with my friends who also wear these, I learned it was a common issue and many people need to replace them just over a year of having them (convenient that the warranty only covers 12 months). Unfortunately will not be buying again, as they are too expensive to replace once per year.

I've been a ride-or-die fan of Hokas for a couple years now, as they've been the only shoes I can wear and still be able to function without severe foot pain at the end of the day (I have plantar fasciitis from onset obesity). I also work in healthcare and am often on my feet for 12 hours, so this brand's shoes are a necessity for me. The Bondi 7's and SR's both served me well; I've basically worn my Bondi 7's into the ground at this point and felt like it was time for an upgrade, so I bought some Bondi 8's in the colorway Blanc De Blanc / Sunlit Ocean. I was super excited about this colorway because it's unique and also right up my alley. Cushioning and responsiveness is great, but I'm so heartbroken over the colorway. The upper white mesh body, specifically at the toe, has already scuffed and greyed/blackened - and all I've done is walk the floors in hospitals. I haven't walked into any mud, dirt, spills, nothing! I've made minimal contact with anything but oxygen - so, why is the upper mesh already blackening and greying after only a day or two of wear? I tried cleaning them per care instructions provided by the website, nothing helped - only made things worse. I've only had these shoes for a week at best, and I'm already having to return/exchange them for a different colorway in hopes I don't have the same results like I did with this colorway. I'm so disappointed and heartbroken. My Bondi 7's in all white never scuffed and got dingy this badly and this quickly. Please take this feedback seriously; the colorway was everything I could ever want and more, but how is it functional if it's just gonna get dirty in a minimum of a day after LIGHT WEAR, and not improve with cleaning?

So, I read the reviews and decided to give this a try I was having second thoughts because they are pricey and I thought for the cost it must be comfortable well it wasn't I bought the bondi 8 the first few days it was good the sneakers have thick high instep and that's my problem if it wasn't that high I could add insole.
I know they say try it for 30 days but I had cut that cloth at by the instep so I thought I couldn't cause I cut it.
I ended up at the orthopedic because they cause severe pain in my heel so now I am doing physiotherapy for the pain and discomfort.
My therapist said I should be recommended by a store where they put your foot on the machine but I was recommended from the website so that my biggest mistake.

I work as a CNA and in retail (part time) I am in my feet 8-13 hours a day. I bought these hoping they would help my sciatica. They felt good for about 2 weeks. My feet didn't hurt and my back started hurting less. Then out of the blue 2 hours into a shift, my feet hurt. I kept trying to make them work since I paid so much for them and the doctor recommended them. But the pain only got worse. Also they attract dirt like crazy. Will not be buying this style again

I used these for walking my neighborhood. After a foot injury I saw the need to upgrade my footwear. I bought several pairs of shoes including these. The brand was highly recommended, I liked their style, and initially they were very comfortable. But in a short time (a little over a month) they began to break down. Most of the tread is gone. The bottom of the shoe has a lot of exposed foam (all the white you see on the bottom) so anything I step of can make a gouge. The stitching around my Achilles started to come apart so I put in some patches there. For shoes that are this expensive and have had this kind of use, I expected better.

Love Bondi 6, bring it back please! This Bondi has smaller toe box and the arch support is not positioned correctly in the shoe! It's too far back so it hits the fleshy part of foot before the arch. Painful. Had to send them back and trying to figure out another plush HOKA in wide. I need a new pair!

I wore these for 20mins and it started bugging my arches. To the point I bought other inserts and still had to take these shoes off. It feels like there's a hard rock that my arch is walking on. They were so red and raw I'm going to have to return them. I wish they worked out for me.

I wanted to love these so bad, but the white color is NOT white. In person, they look like a light blue and not at all like in the photo. The style and fit are exactly what I wanted, but just not the color. I've seen other reviews mention this too and wish they'd address it so the white is actually white.

I don't find the "plush" to be very plush and the shoe is waaayyy too wide. I bought the bondi 8, hoping it would resemble the bondi 6. Wrong. Not even close. Returning.

Specifically asked for a recommendation on what shoe to wear to help my plantar fasciitis while walking a 10K. Shoes look great but by the 2nd mile I was hurting.

my physical therapist reccomended for my foot issues. They are great for plantar fascia, but horrible for peroneal tendonitis, despite what I was told. The hard side comes up too high and digs, puts too much pressure on the peroneal tendon. It has made my condition worse. too painful to wear. Wide in the toe box only, but too narrow in the arch/side, even though I ordered wide.

I've only ever heard great things about these shoes but for me they were super uncomfortable. Usually I can just wear a normal size shoe, but I had to get a wide shoe and size up in these and they still did not fit. I'm a nurse so I work 12+ hours a shift and by the end of my shift I had to take them off. The bottom of the shoe was digging into the side of my arch so much that it was slightly bruised. Needless to say, these shoes did not work for me.

I ordered these as a motivation to get and walk more. I also planned to wear them on a trip to Disney, figuring this would be a true test of their comfort. I have bunions and I realized too late that I should have gotten a wider shoe. My feet were in pain all week during my trip. So now I continue my search for a sneaker that looks nice and feels even better.

I went with a half size smaller than the shoes I had purchased previously that felt too big. The new shoes are way too narrow even in a wide shoe.

The base is so wide I was tripping over it and kicking myself in the ankle, but the actual space inside the shoe felt very tight. The sole is nice and cushiony, which actually might be the problem. Felt like the shoe was swallowing my foot.
