Fixed tongue make this a no go. Couldn't get on my feet at all. Pass this one by. Many other great shoes to pick from.

I really wanted to like these shoes but I had to return them. The quality, waterproofing, size, and style were all great. But the sole is a hard plastic that does not flex at all. You can't even bend it by hand. This resulted in the heel slipping up and down, causing a blister. The size was right, but it was like walking in wooden shoes that had a comfy upper.

The shoe is well-made and nice looking. However, big design flawthe tongue is sewed into the shoe so you can't get your foot into the shoe without a big effort. Seems silly, but it does work well.

Odd fit. Tight in toe and loose in heel. Necessary to return.

They are very nice looking shoes. Unfortunately, my size is too narrow for my foot so I returned them. Even if they were wide enough I would expect shoes in this price range to be much more comfortable than these felt.

Shoe opening was not enough to put my foot in easily. The tong is stitched on both sides and will not allow it. Also uncomfortable once on even though my foot fit in the shoe

Shoe is made way to tight. Can't get your foot in. We even went up a size.

The shoes are great looking when new, but quickly pickup all dirt and moisture. The suede easily discolors and the leather "strap" on the back is poorly designed and sheds. The XC4 has so much potential, but this model has fallen short.

The new "jet fighter cockpit" that replaces traditional tongue is too constraining for me. There is no way to negotiate a bit of room for my arch.

I just received a pair of shoes. I have bought two pairs with different design but the same size 8. 5M from J&M before and those were great. However this pair has design problem, it is impossible to put my foot into the shoe and there is no adjustment by using shoe laces.

I wore one of the shoes for 2 rounds of golf. They hurt my feet . I have returned both pair for a refund.

This pair is extremely uncomfortable and it gives a cheap look. I will not buy an other pair from Johnston & Murphey.

Could not get my foot in the opening of the shoe. The way it was constructed and sewed. There was no way for my foot to slide in with any give. I even tried using a shoehorn. impossible!

Bought these because of looks, but when received found that the tongue of the shoe is sewn in. This provided no adjustment with the laces. Very narrow shoe also

These shoes are almost impossible to get feet into without a shoe horn. They are much heavier than I expected.

Design error-, fitting you foot in to this shoe , at least a size 11, will require a shoe horn- every single time

I didn't like this sneaker because it didn't look like navy to me and this material is cheap because it has foam. This shoe is not a good looking and I would not buy it again. Improve this quality for better materials for waterproof, and more.

I wish i could get my money back, as the shoes were my size but i would need a shoe horn and a lot of muscle to put them on....
