This was a birthday present for my husband. It was such a narrow shoe that it was cutting circulation on my husbands foot. I should have read the reviews which stated exactly what we experienced. I sent them back and I am waiting for a full refund.

I wear an orthodic on my right foot/leg and this style will not accommodate this device.

Loved the look -- but because the tongue is COMPLETELY sewn INTO the shoe, I could not get my foot into the shoe without loosening the laces all the way down towards the toe, and then inching my foot in with my toes pulling the foot inside. Took wayyy too much effort to put these on... absolutely stupid design; should simply use a normal detached tongue like every other sneaker/running shoe/golf shoe does. Very disappointing -- I'm returning these shoes today.

I love your shoes but I can't get these on. They need a stretchier tung

These shoes looks very cheap when you see them up close. I sent my pair back the minute that I laid eyes on them.

I returned them. They are hard to get on. They didn't provide the foot support that was advertised. I ordered size 10 and got 10s but they were way to big. I have other pairs of J&M that are great. These are not.

These sneakers DO NOT have a moveable tongue!! Don't be fooled by the laces. This is basically slip-on footwear as the tongue is fixed in place. I always order a size up on footwear, but even with a larger size I could not fit into these sneakers because the tongue is fixed in place and there is no way to widen the opening. A shoe horn didn't help either. I don't understand how people fit into these sneakers!! The company needs to clearly indicate that the tongue is fixed in place. The picture is deceiving and it is terrible design. I can't speak to the actual comfort of this product because I couldn't get it on my feet!!

I bought these for a three day trade show. I wore them day one and switched back to my traditional shoes for days 2 and 3. Also they are very difficult to get on, I ended up having to buy a shoe horn due to the fact that the tongue is attached to the body of the shoe. I plan on retuning if possible.

Due to having a high arch I couldn't slide my foot in. The tongue doesn't have any give so an impossible fit for me.

Just order these online as the shoe looked very stylish. Unfortunately the opening of the shoe, even with the laces loosened up, was so small that I could not even get these on with a shoe horn. Either this shoe runs very small compared to other Johnston & Murphy styles (I have three other pairs, all size 11) or you would need a very narrow foot to get these on.

I have a high instep and the material was not flexible enough to get my foot into the show. Even with a shoe horn, the fabric is very tight. If you added a tongue, they would be a perfect shoe.

I've been trying to wear them a little everyday to "break-in" a pair of sneakers!! The sales rep told me to remove the footbed but then you give up too much cushion comfort. You don't have "wide" so I got a size larger but even without the footbed, they still hurt across the top and middle of my foot. I bought a lot of clothes and 5 other pairs of shoes along with this pair which are great... these hurt, bad design!

This shoe is labeled as M/W. I thought I would give it a try but with the tongue being sown in, I could not fit the shoe over my wide foot. I returned the shoes - will look for another wide labeled shoe.
