The lace opening was not cut out, could not get my foot in the shoe in any way!!!Looks like a defect, returned.

Beautiful shoe. I don't know how you can say that you have a medium/wide size. You must have a person with a narrow foot writing that. I sent it back because I could not get my foot into it. The shoe and the tongue were sewn together so there was no way to loosen the shoelaces to get it to open further. I would be interested in an authentic wide shoe where the tongue is not sewn to the shoe. I like the style and have a pair of Johnston Murphy shoes that I've had for 25+ years.

His shoe must've been designed late on Friday or too early Monday morning. There is no tongue To open the shoe to insert your foot Very narrow opening, and I could not even get my foot in there I'm an 11 medium and I had to return these Not sure what they were thinking about this design Really disappointed because they seem to be excellent shoes with exception to the poor design

I bought a 9.5 size, this shoe was too tight for my foot, I returned it. Maybe try the next half size longer.

I'm very disappointed in this shoe. As others have stated, the design does not make as much sense as their older models. My largest complaint is that they advertise this shoe as being compatible for wide set feet due to the removable insert. However, they SEWED THE TONGUE TO THE SIDES so that the shoe opening is about the size of my wrist. It does not adjust whatsoever. That makes NO SENSE. How can you expect someone with a wide set foot to squeeze into an "adjustable" shoe if the opening is smaller than the previous models and cannot be adjusted in any way?

The insole has completely changed since the first three pairs of shoes I have purchased from you. I do not know if there was a squeeze project or not but these shoes did not live up to your branding at all and are the cheapest feeling shoe I've worn.

i can not even get the shoes on even with a shoe horn.

Not the usual JM comfort. Way too tight and hard to get on. I got a boatload of Shoes from you guys , this is not gonna be one of them. Sent back.

Shoes don't fit. Opening was to small couldn't get foot in shoe. Poor design and last. I own a lot of Jm shoes and these shoe were bad.

I bought 2 pairs of these in different colors. 1 fits perfectly these are too small with both insoles and too large with 1. I had to return them.

I had to return them because they are too narrow on top and I couldn't get my foot in.

Couldn't insert my foot into the shoe because of sewn instep flap. Returned for refund. This style shoe doesn't work for guys like me.

I hate those shoes, sent them back, my size 9 and1/2, could not even get them on although they physically they were larger than a size 12. Very unhappy, the pictures looked so good but shoos so bad. must have been a mistake in manufacture, I hope all of your products are not that bad!
