The shoe checks the boxes for what I was looking for in terms of fit and comfort in a water proof shoe. It is, however, a royal pain to put on. It is so tight that it makes me less inclined to wear it. Maybe that's the cost of water-proofing but I'd suggest loosening the opening a bit.

This is a beautiful shoe. High quality and great looking. The problem is that the tongue is fixed so my husband cannot get his foot into the shoes. There is no flexibility for someone with a wide foot to wiggle into the shoe. Sad because they are a Christmas gift that he really likes.

I am a big J M supporter, so I was very surprised that this particular design is tight to put on. Specifically, the opening is a defined with and was not large enough to comfortably insert my foot.

Shoes were very difficult to get on without a shoe horn.

I like the shoe when I can get it on. It hugs my foot but is hard to get your foot into it.

These shoes look great and seem well made. Unfortunately, I cannot get my foot into them due to the narrow opening. Because the tongue is connected to the sides and there is no stretch (unlike some other JM shoes I have) there is no way to get my foot in. I have an average instep and average sized foot. I really wanted these to work!

This pair of shoes has only one negative but it is enough of a negative to bring what would have been a 5-star review down to a 3-star review. The tongue is attached to the shoes on both sides of the tongue. I have narrow feet but I must use a shoe horn to put the shoes on. After one day of wearing the shoes they feel great and are very flexible. And the shoes look fantastic! However, I still must use a shoe horn each and every time I put the shoes on. This is a huge design flaw.

I ordered 1/2 size larger.Works good with padded work socks. Very comfortable. Removed insole shoe was extra roomy. Loosen top strings first. Waterproof . Sole kind of slippery on some wet surfaces. #ThaGRINDERS

Love the look, but gotta say removing the inner sole to accommodate a wider footbed is a disappointment. This is my second attempt at purchasing the dual-sole shoe. the change to the shoe comfort is noticable.

Great look and feel, however, almost impossible to get my foot in the shoe. The opening is extremely tight.

Wanted to love this shoe but it was simply too tight all around, even after removing the insert that supposedly makes it into a wide.

Nice shoe that I wish had worked for me. Even upsizing to account for width, I could not get my foot in the shoe. It is a very tight fit.

Great looking shoe but sizing is an issue. I have bought JM shoes exclusively for 15 years. Size 13, perfect fit, great style and quality. This shoe has an insole that makes the shoe too small with the insole and too large without the insole. Not sure why they didn't stick to standard sizing without the removable insole.

Walking all day, they are as comfortable as I had hoped. Hot spot on my heal when power walking, but otherwise great. Getting them on is an adventure, though. Not a tongue, but full sleeve that while soft does not flex. First pair pair of sneaker-looking shoes I've ever gone looking for a shoe-horn to put on.

This she is very nice and stylish and upgrades your casual dress look. They are a little hard to put on because of the elastic boot so a shoe horn is needed. They are water proof in the sense that your socks will not get wet but the actual leather will stain even after conditioning with saddle soap or other protectant. Otherwise they are a nice shoe.

My husband couldn't get his foot in the shoe due to the design. I have returned. Really disappointed; it is a beautiful shoe.

The shoe was great looking. However I can't believe it was partially made out of plastic. And in my opinion sized incorrect in the past I have purchased many tops from you. And love them all however The shoes were a big disappointment
