I use a size wide and by removing the inserts the shoes were a perfect fit and were very comfortable walking. The style is so so, attractive enough but I prefer a moc look.

these are beautiful shoes. I really wanted them to work. even with the removable insert the top of the shoe was way too tight across my foot. very uncomfortable. I have a wide foot and these don't come close to fitting. the other reviews that say these are hard to put on is also correct. there is no tongue. I guess thats because they are waterproof. I really wanted to work but alas they do not fit.

Once on, these shoes are everything they promise. The tongue is permanently stitched, and does not move. This makes it difficult to get the shoes on. Once on, the shoes fit true to size and are comfortable. Still waiting for my 10% discount code.

Foot support is excellent. Medium/Wide is really not a wide. I bought a 1/2 size up and the width is ok, but I prefer DDD kind of wide. The big negative, is that the tongue completely attached (like a slip-on shoe), and there is no stretch. I have a high arch, and have to jam my foot in. Otherwise they look great, and walk great.

I have owned a pair of XC4 for many years. My old pair had a loop on both the heel and the tongue; along with an elastic collar they were so easy to slip on and off. This new pair only has one loop on the back of the shoe, and the collar lining does not stretch, making for an arduous shoe placement.

I get compliments on the looks of the shoe. It's comfortable if you don't stand or walk a much. There isn't much cushion in the sole. So, the bottom of my feet hurt after a few hours of wearing them.

had to send them back they looked like tir ups but had a solid stretch h tongue which I couldn't get my instep through. also much longer than the 11 1/2 that I bought at Dillards.

Good looking shoe but extremely difficult to slide your foot into. Opening is small, jam your foot. Once in they are okay.

I really like the design and style, Unfortunately, I could not slip my foot into it, as the tongue of the shoe is attached to the collar of the shoe. So if your foot is on the wide side, that would not work. Too Bad as I was excited about it.

Shoe looks good but is almost impossible to get on. Happy d to believe it was designed so poorly. I'm considering cutting it to allow easier entry. This should not be the way to fix a problem.

I order the M/W shoes from you because I have a wide width. Usually they will be a bit snug but work in. I've purchase XC4 from you in the past. This particular design has a really snug throat making them hard to put on. Additionally, having to remove the inner sole to make they wide sacrifices comfortability. It would be better if you made actual wide widths.
