I had a pair of the Xv4s, I like them better than the Hybrids. the hybrid is comfortable, yet more difficult to put on as the opening is narrow. I also like the xc4 laces better. it would be great if you could make a step in, non tying shoe like these.

This is a good looking shoe that supports the foot very well. I am a little disappointed in the fit. It doesn't fit quite as comfortably as the other XC4 shoes I've purchased.

I love these shoes and have bought 2 pairs of them for work. They are comfortable all day long. The only complaint I have is the laces don't stay tied, even with double knots.

Shoes are as described and expected. Toe box is a little wider than most tennis shoes. Good if you have wider feet but not great for people with narrow feet. As always, quality is top notch.

Love these shoes. Most comfortable dress sneaker I ever wore but having them less than a year and part of the brown sole started to peal off. I want to get another pair but I'm hesitant now

Always love JM shoes! They are comfortable immediately. This pair is no exception. The only issue is the size of the opening. It is small and a bit difficult to put the shoes on. Once on the fit is very comfortable, though. Thanks!

Do not care for the band inside of them other than that they would be extremely comfortable

Great shoes with comfort and class. Perfect combination of casual and dress appearance. The one thing that would make them better is if they actually came in a wide width instead of the removable sole.

Great style, material, and workmanship as always but very rarely does JM have a design flaw, the tongue is sewn in and you have to climb your feet in and can only be put on with a shoe horn. Size up because the toe area is much narrower than other shoes. Heal pocket is loose too. I normally have an instant fit.

I really want to give it a 4.5 star rating. 4 is just too low. And it is not quite a 5. Overall I like the shoe because of its casual look. They hold their place with worn with slacks, jeans, and even joggers. Really like the "Nubuck" look and feel. It is a very unique shoe as I've not seen many on the street. Downsides: the nubuck apparently stains easy. Sadly I found out after day 3. New owners should IMMEDIATELY apply a protectant. I appreciate the attempt at the dual fit system as I have wide feet. However, removing the insert meant little to no arch support. For those who need a bit more arch support, you may find replacing theirs with a Dr.Scholls ( or custom as I did ) added a bit too much bulk. For me, their supplied insert didn't offer the arch support that "I" need. My Solution was to buy half shoe depth arch supports

I really like the shoes, but I had some difficulty with sizing. My normal JM shoe size is 11M, but that was a bit tight in this style. I tried 11 1/2M, and definitely too large. So, I settled on the 11M, and they are O.K. after wearing them for awhile.

Great shoes. Fit well. They are to hard to put on even with a shoe horn.

The looks are sharp and it's extremely comfortable. I just wish tongue of shoe wasn't attached to the rest of the shoe as it makes putting on the shoe more difficult.

This shoe wears great. It is difficult to get the shoe on because of the attached tongue but I think they will loosen up with wear.

I'm a shoe snob. I don't buy shoes in the $500 plus range but have more shoes than most men in the $150 to $300 category. Listen up! You need a show horn to put these shoes on the first few times. After that an index finger in the heel will work. YOU DO NOT TIE ANDN UNTIE THESE SHOES! They go on and off but don't slip on like loafers. These shoes are 100% waterproof and look great with jeans or khakis. They have inserts to remove for a wide foot or leave in for D width! While almost 200 bucks for a sneaker is a little stout, this shoe is a winner! Great Job J & M. Now make some attractive loafers and stop making most of you shoes with white soles. This trend is getting old.

Everything was great until I tried to get my foot into the shoe. I very much liked the style and look of the shoe! I have high arches and because of the construction I was unable to get my foot into the opening. I need a shoe that allows me to lift the tongue to insert my foot. Would like to have a similar shoe if the construction permitted me to wear it.

Great work of art! The shoe is very versatile. Just remember to remove the extra insoles until you break the shoes in- otherwise the shoe will feel tight. They also come in wide. Great buy !

I love the feel of the shoes once on but wish the tongue was not seen so tightly to the body of the shoe as it makes them hard to put on.
