Wish the fabric was a little thicker, other than that, love the nightgown

I love these and have bought them for 20 plus years. Medium is my size, but started ordering Large, since of shrinkage. I am 5'6 133 lbs I no longer put them in the dryer, I hang to dry. Yes, large is a tad big, but having it a bit larger is more comfortable. Very soft. Lasts years..

Material is wonderfully soft and stretchy. A tad short and rides up sometimes.

I wear Pima Cotton tops all the time. This nightgown reminds me of wearing a comfortable top turned into an above the knee dress. Wearing this as lounge clothes looks nicer than oversized Tee shirts. I can actually answer the front door with this nightgown and not have to hide behind the door.

This checked almost all the boxes of what I was looking for in a night shirt. I wanted short sleeves and a long enough length and 100% cotton. I bought a small and a medium and if I purchased another one, I'd go with medium as it shrinks a bit and I like my shirts to be loose. The small was not bad though. I would like to see more color options. Ocean blue, purple. More unusual colors.

I purchased this nightgown even though I had qualms about the length. Since I'm short I usually buy petite sizes but decided to take a chance on this nightgown. Wrong decision: it was way too long to be "knee length". The fabric is very nice and sllky, the fit was as expected (I like very roomy nightgowns) and the garment appeared to be well-made. I returned this and wound up buying a petitie nightgown on another site.

I've been buying this same nightgown for many years and the length has always been just like the online photo, lower thigh (see photo). This last one hits just below the knee, 4" longer than before. Everything else is excellent. See photo of older light blue and new navy.

These nightgowns are perfect. Generous comfortable fit, softest fabric, beautiful colors. Only reason it's not a 5 star rating is that there is a label in the lower side seam. Why can't this information be stamped in near the neckline as the other info is? My last version of these nightgowns I bought at least 8 years ago and they're still wearable.

Just got two of these. I haven't washed them yet, but right out of the package they fall about 3-4" BELOW the knee on me. Why, oh why, do you not offer these in petite?? You and I know that if I shorten them they will never look quite right, but that's what I will probably end up doing. Your competitors in Wisconsin offer petites, but their nightgowns get shorter and wider every time they are washed!

After consulting the size chart and speaking with an LLB rep, I ordered a large size. I usually wear a size 10/12 pant and size 12/14 top. The gown fits but is a bit more fitted that I care for and in future I will order the XL. I am 5'4" and have washed the gown once per instructions and it falls above the knee. I am concerned that future washings may make it too fitted and too short. The garment is well made, the fabric is nice and soft, and the medium blue color is beautiful.

I really like this sleep-shirt, I have been buying them for about 12 years, 8 or 9 of them total. They are extremely comfortable; full enough but not too full, durable with many, many machine washings, cool around the neck but comfortingly warm at the shoulder with the short sleeves, the Supima cotton is cushy enough to feel good and silky at the same time. I am a wheelchair user and they are short enough to be easy to take on and off but just long enough to be discreet. The problem is that the stitching at the hem unravels. It ALWAYS starts unraveling in the right front side! Many of them have been missing a couple of stitches at that spot when brand new - some look complete but either way THE HEM ALWAYS UNRAVELS! I guess I think that it is an OK trade off; that is why I gave 4 stars not 5. It would be nice to see a similar item with long sleeves for the winter (not 3/4 sleeves.)

Normal sizing, material is very soft and supple, would love to see patterned fabric version made available at same price as solid colors.

Love the Pima cotton products. Very soft and wear well. But after a couple of times through the washer and dryer, they shrink a lot in length. This nightgown starts out above the knee, and ends up at mid-thigh. That is not enough coverage. I wish you would make them below the knee so they would shrink to knee length. I can't wear the long-sleeved model as I live in a warm climate. If you would make this change, I would wear this product for the rest of my life. That's my only complaint.

Supima cotton is outstanding in softness and thickness. I am disappointed in the fit. Needs a bit more of an A line cut to fit comfortably around the hips with a little swing.

I didn't measure, but think this probably shrunk 4 inches, I'm very disappointed. It is comfortable, though, just would like it to be a little longer.

I bought this one in blue last spring. All the other ones (2) have been very roomy almost too big in the middle and length. This one is very tight and still an XL- as am I.

My main critique of the Supima short sleeve nightgown is the neckline is different in the new version. It used to be a beautiful, perfect, actual scoop neck. I have 4 old ones I am still wearing, but the one I just received has a somewhat smaller, almost u-shaped neckline. It's a personal preference but I liked the original, more relaxed scoop neck a lot more at least for this style nightgown. If I had wanted a higher or u-shaped neckline I would have looked for that. I thought I would be receiving the same LL Bean style as always, but it seems to be a modified version.

Just received the latest Supima nightgown, and it is a good 4 inches longer than the older one I have. There are two contradicting photos on the web page. The front view is what I was expecting, the back view is longer, and more in line with the one that I just received. I love the fabric, but would not have ordered it if I knew how long it was going to be. Sorry to say, it's just frumpy.

1x size is always big on me as I like the extra roomy comfort of a too-big nightgown. This one fits like an L. Sadly I bought this a couple of months ago and just wore it for the first time. I realized it's way too short (I'm 5 foot 2!) and too small.

I own two of these nightgowns. The first one I purchased fit perfectly, the fabric is nice and soft, even after many washings, no pilling, true color, and very comfortable. I was very happy so I ordered a second one exact same size, same color and big surprise....it wasn't the same. Although it is noted as the same size, it measures almost an inch smaller across the chest, through the arms and length of sleeves. I have been buying from LLBean since I moved to Vermont in 1994 and was always impressed with the consistency of quality of their products and the customer service. This nightgown is a big disappointment. I have not tried to return it because I have washed it so that when I compared it to the previous nightgown I was comparing apples to apples. But I do not recommend it to anyone because sizing of this product is apparently random.....you just don't know what your going to get!

Overall this is a nice cotton night shirt - I'm 5'9 and after one washing it has shrunk to be just past my bottom - if it were a bit longer it would be a great product. It is hard to find nice cotton night shirts - this is the best I have found but not great for a tall person

Fabric is great, but a much longer nightgown with short sleeves would be appreciated.

Basic summer nightgown, nice material. I wish the sleeves were looser and a little longer. I wouldn't want to size up however, already did that as I like my gowns to be roomy.
