I'm 5'6" and 122lbs. The XS fit me perfectly without being too tight or baggy. The material is soft and thick without being bulky. I wore it to bed most nights this summer and it still looks brand new. I love it!

The Nightgown was a last minute birthday gift for my wife. I knew that the fit was critical and when my wife tried it on she smiled.

I love this nightgown. It is soft, comfortable, washes well and is very comfortable. I prefer a nightgown to sleep in and this one is perfect.

This adorable nightgown is perfect; the material is silky and soft, but substantial; it fits like a comfortable t-shirt, but is shapely and feminine. I wish it was available in more colors.

Haven't worn it yet, looks fine. The only thing I'm not happy with is the length. It falls just below the knee instead of above the knee as advertised and the way my previous LL Bean nightshirts fit.

In the past the length was shorter, just above my knees. This one was longer and bulky.
Please make it shorter again as I like this sleep shirt

I've bought many of these over the years and this one was the same quality, but much longer than the picture shows. Rather than mid-thigh, it is mid-knee. I'm ordering another and hoping it will be the shorter version.

Comfortable, well made, washes well. Ordered the navy which looks nice. Gave it 4 stars because it is longer than expected.

Love the feel of this nightgown. Just wish it was a little bit longer. It is about 5 inches above my knees. Wish it was knee length on me.

I have several of these nightgowns, all of them are size small. This nightgown, when compared to the others, is smaller, has less fabric than any of the others. I really don't understand why this is happening with LLBean clothing. It fits, but it isn't as comfortable as my older nightgowns that are the exact same style. If it isn't exactly the same style, then it really needed a complete redesign so customers would know that it was not going to fit the same as he other ones.

I ordered this a size up and was glad I did. It fits like a long T-shirt and my generous backside needed the extra space. I wish it was a couple of inches longer. However the fabric is nice and it seems well made.

I agree with others who have said the sizing has changed. I have two of these from a couple of years ago in XL that fit perfectly (I like them on the loose side for sleeping). Re-ordered XL and it's noticeably smaller. Exchanging for a 1X.

Very comfortable fabric. Length is a bit too long for me because it bunches up under my hips while I sleep. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with it.

Beautiful fabric that I've come to love year round. However, the sizing is off: this 1X is smaller than one that I already have. I wish manufacturers would stop cutting the corners and make items the correct size that we rely on. Not everyone has a slim, model type of body.

Like this nightgown but disappointed there aren't any pockets, that would get it 5 stars!!

I ordered my usual size with LLBean and the nightgown that I waited for is a bit too snug for my liking. A nightgown should be roomy for comfort during the night and this one is smaller than the one I already have. May need to exchange it for a larger size. :(

I normally wear a size Medium top in LL Bean and that usually works for nightgowns as well. But this one is cut straight so I found it too snug over my hips. It fit but it was not as comfortable as a nightgown should be.

These are amazingling soft and comfortable, like your favorite twenty year old nightgowns, but two of the four I have ordered i n the past developed tiny pinholes in the fabric after a few months. At first I thought I had snagged one on something, but no, it
happened again. Still the most comfortable gowns ever, and I have re-ordered, but not terribly durable I guess.

My husband got me this for Mother's Day 2022. Although very soft and pretty, it just doesn't feel like the cotton that I am used to. I used to purchase nightshirts that feel like long, soft T-shirt dresses. This nightshirt feels like it's made from polyester or spandex. It is stretchy, slippery and shiny. Is this really cotton? Did someone pull the "wool" over the eyes of the LL Bean buyers? I can't believe this is cotton.

Soft. Thought it would be thicker, although thin is good for summer. Still thick enough to launder well. The navy blue is inky and dark and lovely. Good stretch.

This is my fourth nightgown purchase with the short sleeve. The style and very soft material are appealing to me. They wash well and last a long time. However, with the last two purchases, there does not seem to be quite as much width from the waist down.

I bought this one and the long sleeve Supima cotton nightgowns and both have an itchy plastic seam instead on the shoulders. I don't know why they would use an inferior and inappropriate thread with a Supima cotton nightgown. Otherwise this nightgown is almost perfect. I do prefer the long sleeve one since it's a little longer. I'm 5'1" so this short sleeve one covers my behind even when I bend over but the other one is just that little bit longer where I don't worry at all. The sleeves on this are ok, I wish they were a tad bit longer too so when rolling over it's bed they didn't pull up. The neckline hits nicely. The lilac color is pretty but I wouldn't wear it without a robe in front of company since you can see breasts through it. The navy color in the long sleeve doesn't have that same issue. I would love this gown in black, green and other darker colors and pretty prints. There seems to be a hole in the market with fabric prints, the night gowns are either too youthful or too old ladyish and look like the fabric on a 1950s sofa. Gorgeous middle age friendly prints are needed for nightgowns please.
