I've bought these in the past and loved them - soft, comfortable, not too snug across the chest or the middle (where I carry most of my weight). My older versions of the same nightshirt have been worn for several years - they held up VERY well, and it's only now that some of the fabric was starting to wear thin from years of washing/wearing. I ordered a couple to replace them. These are well worth the money! If LL Bean changes the style or eliminates these I would be so disappointed!

This nightgown works well for summer temperatures; plus its breathability, durability, washability, and comfort give me a great night's sleep.

So glad you brought these nightgowns back!! I bought 4, 2 for me, and 2 for mom. So soft, and they don't bunch up when you're sleeping!! Pretty colors too.

So glad this style was brought back as had previously and loved it. Also ordered the longer 3/4 sleeve. It is luxuriously soft, fits beautifully, washes and dries with no shrinkage time and time again. Does not pill like some cotton knits.

I purchased two of these nightgowns. They are very soft and comfortable. I really like the knee length. They don't tend to ride up while I sleep and get all bunched up. They also wash up really well.

Just what I wanted. All cotton, comfy, no buttons or lace to scratch or itch. The cotton is a bit heavier than I expected.

I have been wearing these nightshirts for years now. They last really well, but one finally wore out. I am so glad you have them back in stock. I am also happy that they are now a little longer. They do shrink a bit in the dryer, so now the lenghth is great. My old ones were just a bit short. The pima cotton is so comfortable for sleeping--not too hot.

I bought this same nightgown many years ago & actually wore it out. When I saw this nightgown in my latest LL Bean catalog a few months ago, I ordered another one. They are very soft and comfortable.

Excellent quality, well-made, very comfortable. This is my 3rd purchase of these nightgowns. Will keep purchasing as long as they're available. Some new colors would be nice.

I've purchased three of these over the last few years and love them. I've washed them normally but do not put them in the dryer (when I love the fit of something, I don't take chances.) I'm glad these are back on the website, and just purchased another after not seeing them for the last year or so. Since they are the same pima cotton fabric as many of your tops, I don't understand why you don't offer them in more colors. The color of one of my older nightgowns was called Crystal Blue - it's a beautiful light blue shade, would love to see that color come back. In any case, I hope you will never stop offering these nightgowns.

This is a very comfortable night gown. I really like the weight, softness and smoothness of the fabric. I can see it's well made now that it's been washed several times. I think it will last a long time. Glad I ordered it.

I love these nightgowns. So glad LL Bean was able to bring them back. The material is super silky soft. I ordered the blue color, in my usual size (XL, I'm a 38DD on top) and it fit perfectly, a little loose, but comfortable. I like the length, right at my knees, not too long or short. I will be buying a few more while they are available.

Oh dear, I came here to write a superb review and the only size is XS in color navy. Please tell me that this item is not discontinued. I have insomnia and require sleepwear without buttons, etc. Just plain soft fabric. I have bought a few in the lighter blue and now I see the page is looking bleak. I will keep on checking and I hope that you are simply looking at new colors. Please do not change the style as it works beautifully for me.

After my mother recently lost her most favorite LLBean nightgown that she had for a decade or more while hospitalized for a stroke, I bought her this replacement, hoping it would be a favorite for her now. She put it on the night she received it, and has worn it every night since. She loves it. It's soft and comfortable, and short enough for her (4'10"). Perfect!

This is the fifth short sleeve nightgown I have ordered. Just love the Supima cotton garments from L.L. Bean and wear these at all times.

Am most happy about the fabric. I ordered the navy, short sleeved nightgown. It fits as it should, and the fabric is substantial enough without being too warm.

LL Bean nightgowns are great and it's the second time I've purchased the exact same one. Cotton, comfortable, and just the right amount of room to not be too big and get crumpled up when turning over. I weigh 165 and am 5'7", and purchased the Large size. Fits well, didn't shrink, and is soft and lovely right out of the package. I'm not a fan of flannel (too warm), so these nightgowns are perfect for me year-round.

I read many reviews because I didn't know why it didn't have a 5 Star. I bought my first one about 15 years ago and it's falling apart but still the most comfortable night shirt ever. Who cares about form fitting. Your sleeping and besides that it stretches out. I've continued to purchase these over the years and have 5 now. Although a few things have changed, the comfort and feel has not. I will however agree with one reviewer that the hem does unravel. It doesn't bother me and has never actually come all the way out, but it shouldn't unravel at all really. Other then that it's the best thing I've ever slept in.

Soft, comfortable. I usually wear a size 10 or 12, but I ordered a Large. It's a bit roomy, but definitely better than too fitted given that it's for sleep. Some people have complained that it's too short; it does feel to me more like a sleep t-shirt than a nightgown, but I prefer it that way.
