My last gown was perfect, size and material but this one feels like different material and it is smaller than the same size I ordered last.

Too Long to be comfortable. I want at or above the knee.

I love the fabric a color but us biggies need it longer.

Nice fabric, but too short for my taste. Wish I could return it, but already washed it.

Very soft material which is nice. I'm 5'5" and its almost a little short tho. Because of that it rides up when you sleep.

A simple cotton short nightgown for the summer months to sleep in.

I ordered this because my old nightGown of 10+ years has worn out. I ordered the same size as my old one but this one was much smaller so I sent it back. They did not have any more of the next size up so I'm still wearing my old nightgown.

The night shirt is great, but it shrunk in length about 2 inches.

Product is shorter than expected. It is very soft and light weight.

Fabric is soft and the garment is well-made but it is cut more as a dress than a nightgown- too skimpy. Fortunately the fabric is very soft and comfortable so it does not feel constricting but something with more room and a fit that is looser would be better which is why I give it three stars and not four or five.

neck was higher than it looks plus it was heavy for being a short sleeved night gown.

I purchased two tshirts in M and L at the same time as this L gown. I returned the L tshirt as too big. I tried on the gown, thought it was loose, washed it in warm, and now it is clingy. Ick. Anyone else have the product shrink?

While I really love the feel of Pima cotton, and I love the style and length of this particular nightgown, I do not like the color but it was the only thing available at the purchase time and I needed to get something quickly...I did buy two of these navy gowns - I must tell you that I sleep with it inside out as I cannot tolerate seams touching me (very sensitive skin) and I do not dry my clothes in the dryer but hang them and put them in the dryer after they are completely dry to soften them further....I do recommend these but wish lighter colors were available...I also love the pima cotton pajamas when they are available! (my daughter loves these gowns also)

I own several of these nightgowns, all purchased many moons ago. They're my absolute favorites, but I've worn a few of them to tatters and need to replace them. What a disappointment...the new ones of the same size are way too long and are much narrower, making me feel constricted; not at all conducive to a good night's sleep. I'm now mourning the loss of my favorite nightgowns and will have to begin a new search elsewhere for suitable replacements, which is a total bummer.

I bought this same gown last year and loved it. This one seems to be made of a different material even though the tag states it is not. It's not as soft as my old one and looks cheap.

I found it little too short. Small across shoulder

This nightgown feels good. The lilac color is not flattering (only one available at time of purchase).

This night gown is very well made but I'm donating it to charity because it's annoyingly short (I'm assuming I can't return it because I've worn it). The hem is at least 6 inches above my knees and, in the back, predictably rides up even higher when I bend over. Additionally, it's plenty roomy, but another thing that I didn't like is that it's very clingy and outlines my anatomy way more than I want. Disappointed. I was replacing my prior LL Bean nightgowns which I loved but are worn out

Have to wear this indside out because of horrible synthetic thread used to sew the seams.

I have many of these nightgowns bought over the years. I love the soft fabric and so comfortable. But, it shrinks quite a bit in length.

This nightgown runs small and short. I'm 5'6 135lbs.,ordered large, fits with NO room to spare. It also shrinks washed cold and hung to dry. Boring style and color. What happened to the cute, short sleeved, longer, better quality pima nightgowns you used to have? I'd really like to know!

I bought several LL Bean short sleeve Supima nightgowns in the past, and they were 5 star in all respects. The ones you are selling today unfortunately do not live up to expectations. First, the plastic strip a number of others have complained about are indeed annoying. In response to one customer's review complaining about the plastic in the shoulder seam, you stated that "there is clear elastic tape, which reinforces shoulder seam". Elastic is generally made of spandex, rubber, or latex, and none of those materials is clear and shiny. And why did you think the shoulder seam needed to be reinforced? Of all the nightgowns I bought in the past, not a single shoulder seem has ever come apart. If anything needs reinforcing, it might be the underarm seam, but please, not with whatever it is you are using on the shoulder seems now !!!! Second, what you are selling now are not as roomy across the middle and hip areas. I laid one of my old nightgowns over the one I just bought. The old are at least a couple of inches roomier than the current ones. I can only guess that a cost saving measure was taken by using a little less fabric for each nightgown. I would much prefer to pay a little more for the same great nightgown you used to sell.

The fabric was nice, but I didn't like the fit. It is straight with no A-line. It was also tight under the arms. Another negative for me was the seems are rough. I returned.

I'm 4'10" and the garment barely comes to the top of my knees. Disappointing.
