Nice material, however, absolutely no style. Looked like a lavendar sack. I returned it. LL Bean, you can do better!

I purchased the lovely green color (glacial teal). That was all that was lovely. The gown was not flattering-looked like I was wearing a sack. Reminded me of a hospital gown. I returned it.

I have many LL Bean supima nightshirts from previous years: have warn them so much that they are threadbare. I have been trying to replace them in recent years but find the latest version of the product to be disappointing. The fit is slimmer and straighter (actually went up a size for the first time ever, since my last attempt at getting replacement pajamas failed), but the fit is still more snug than the old ones, and the odd sleeves (not quite capped but very short and somewhat tight) make for an uncomfortable sleep shirt. I am so disappointed. Please bring back the original product!

Very disappointed in this gown. The older ones are more substantial and feel like a better product. Also would have liked petite size.

Not as soft as I thought it would be. And shape isn't very flattering. Just hangs straight. Will work, but won't be a favorite

Great product but the stitching came undone after one wash cycle. Sent it back and it went into the abyss. I think they must be all backordered. :(

As others have said, this nightshirt doesn't fit like the older versions. It seems that they took about 4" off the sides and added it to the bottom, so now it's too long and too narrow. I had hoped to exchange for a larger size, but it is out of stock. Really disappointed as this has always been my go to nightshirt.

Finally I have to replace my favorite style nightgown. Although I am not crazy about the color, I ordered the navy Supima short sleeve because I have loved the style for many years. When I tried it on, the neck and sleeves were a good fit, but the hips were much tighter than my old gown, so much so that I returned it. Now I will have to look elsewhere for a comfortable nightgown.

Surprised at L.L. Bean products. I've been ordering from L.L. Bean for many many years. My dad ordered from L.L. Bean many many years ago and it was always good and reputable. But this nightgown fell apart on the second wearing. I washed it very carefully and wore it the next day when I got up the seam on the neckline behind my neck just fell apart about 3 inches came out in the thread where it would come apart even more so. I was shocked.I was going to return it but I love it so much so my friend who sees is going to stitch it up for me. But I just wanted to let you know the shock I was in that it fell apart after wearing it once. What is happening to L.L. Bean products?

Owning and loving an L.L.Bean Supima night gown, I was happy to see the Supima gown in the catalog again. I ordered the same size (Medium) short sleeve gown as I have had for several years. However, when I tried it on, the new gown fit well on top but felt tighter around the hips. I measured it against my old gown; and, yes, there's 4" less material in the new gown from the hips down. While the old style has a comfortable flow of material, the new one is form-fitting from the hips down which would not be as comfortable for sleeping. I returned the new one and still enjoy the comfort of the original style of my old gown. It is very unusual for me not to be satisfied with an L.L.Bean product--hence my "Profile Name" of "Grateful" which I must have used on another review. "Grateful" does not fit this review which expresses disappointment.

I've been wearing 2 LL Bean nightgowns, size M, for years. They are of excellent quality, which is why they have lasted so long. I bought this nightgown in a size L, but it is much too small, and not of the same quality as my old ones. I am having great difficulty in finding a well made nightgown at this time.

It fit just find but it seems to be stuck on the "too small" key. I like something that is lighter weight
and is a light summer soft cotton. Supima cotton is slippery and seems more like a polyester and
too heavy. I really didn't know about Supima cotton but now I do.

I expect you used WNBA players when you said this fell above the knee. I know I am only 5'2", but it was several inches below my knee. Not at all what I expected based on past purchases. And rather flimsy material besides.

Not what was ordered, you send a different product.if you don't have what a customer wants don't send a replacement especially without a way to return it.

I ordered XL, which is my usual LLB size. It is far too short, too tight everywhere, and has the absolutely most annoying feature, the plastic tape stitched into the shoulders. Just WHY. Returned immediately.

I bought 2 of these in past years and loved them. I lost weight and bought a new one the same size as the others and it was way to small.

This is the 3rd nightgown like this I have purchased in the past 5 years. I have lost 10 lbs since I bought the last nightgown. This one is the same size as the other 2. It is ti small everywhere even though I lost the weight.

I wish I could give 5 stars because the cotton is great BUT I must wear it inside out because the seam thread is plastic. The plastic makes me itch and break out. Whatever happened to cotton thread? Also, why is the neckline so low?? My boobs fall out and get cold. Stupid.

Bought 3 of these. After 1 WASH in front loading washer. Back of neckline, above where tag info is printed: one unraveled 2" other two visually appear to have a stitch missing, and I expect on 2nd wash will unravel. How is this possible?! Must size up - a regular xxl at the biggest and cheapest store equals a 3x in this. Also too short. On 5'6" shows upper thigh and good china.
