The flannel was very thin and not warm. I returned it.

Material is very thin, thinner than even a summer weight robe.

LL Bean has certainly started using cheaper quality flannel. This robe sheds and pills

I used to have an LL Bean flannel robe that I just loved! But it eventually wore out. That robe, however, was lined. This version is just a very thin flannel that is not lined. (It was a gift from the same person who bought me the previous one--I would have perhaps investigated it to make sure it hadn't gotten worse.) So while it looks nice, it's not warm. It will be a nice summer robe, but then flannel seems an odd look for summer. For a hundred dollars, I'd expect a thicker flannel.

I received this as a gift and will be returning it. It's extremely thin flannel. The fabric of this robe is thinner than most flannel shirts I've owned. It's unlined and you can practically see through it. It does not seem worth the price.

I was very disappointed. This is a good looking robe, but definitely not for cold weather. Spring and fall only.
Was also very disappointed with the pockets. They don't hold my phone. I had called because I really relied on the people answering the phone to give me good input. But this time I got a young man who said he had no idea, but he'd ask his supervisor. I wanted to know which of 2 robes had the bigger pockets. The answer came back immediately. The more expensive robe has pockets that are just a tiny bit bigger, no measurable difference. I really got the impression it was a "get the sale" answer, nothing researched.
While I am unhappy that manufacturers aren't paying more attention to women's pockets, I'm more upset at not getting the service on my call. Guess retail is changing everywhere.

This robe is too thin to provide any warmth in a Minnesota winter. It's very soft but because of the soft flannel, it's hard to brush crumbs or hair off of it. I have nightgowns that are warmer than this robe, and I wish I'd never spent a hundred dollars for it. I hope to find a warm robe somewhere and wear this LLBean robe in the summer.

Love the fit and the comfort of this robe. But, for the price I think it should last more than 2 years. I have purchased two robes over the past few years and both wore out in the middle of the back. How is that possible? Will not be spending money on a new one!

Not for my height, sadly. The placement of the belt loops are too high for me which made the robe uncomfortable.

Most women's sleepwear has a pattern of some sort. Very difficult to pair anything with these plaids. My old LL Bean solid color flannel robe has long needed replacement. Unfortunately having to shop other stores after waiting for solid color flannel to be offered again.

I was very disappointed in the quality. I expected a much not sustainable garment for the price, it is very lightweight. Do not Recommend.

I bought this robe almost a year ago. I loved the pattern and thought the flannel would be a warm option. I have been super disappointed by my purchase. The fabric has pilled tremendously, the robe never stays closed when tied, and after a few washes the robe lost its shape. The quality does not match the price point.

I was disappointed as the robe weighs the same as a pair of flannel PJ's. I had a great robe from LL Bean for 5 years and it was flannel on the outside and berber on the inside which made it warm and toasty for NY winters. So when I got this robe I was disappointed but can be used be for fall and spring. Also I had to have it taken up by a seamstress which added another $20 to the cost because it was so LONG it was a safety hazzard. I am 5 ft 5 inches tall

I tried to order a winter bathrobe to replace the one I had from LL BEAN that was 5 years old. The old robe was well made, flannel on the outside and a berber lining in inside which was comfortable for NY winters. Unfortunately LL Bean didn't have what I was looking for so I ordered this flannel robe. It hit me below the ankle so I had to have a seamstress take it up 5 inches so I wouldn't trip, that cost me an additional $20 to the cost of the robe. The robe itself is the same weight as a pair of flannel PJ's so good for Spring and early Fall but NOT for winter. Was disappointed.

Besides the XS being too large, the robe is to light weight for a winter robe. I wish they make a much heavier weight flannel.

I was really disappointed when I got my order in the mail. The flannel is quite lightweight and does not feel like it will hold up for very long. It is not warm enough for Vermont winters.

I could tell without even taking it out of the package that the flannel was of such low quality that I would not wear it. I have an old men's bathrobe from LL Bean that I got many years ago that is still much more wearable than the new one that I returned.

Rough, pilling fabric. I'm keeping because I cannot find any other flannel robes out there. Not quality I would expect from LL Bean.

I was so excited to get this robe. It shrunk after the first wash and the material is incredibly itchy. So disappointing.

On the positive side I do like the color. Other than that I was very disappointed. Since I live in Texas I don't need a really warm robe so I kept it. This is thin, flimsy and very over priced. I should have returned it. I guess I am hoping that it will wash and wear well. If you need a warm, cozy robe then do not buy this. LLBean is not what it used to be.

The material is very poor, very thin thread count, after washing it was loaded with batches of cotton which were all over the floor when shaking it out. Which continues throughout wearing around the house. Now sleeve length was short and tight at shoulders and a bit tight at hips. The color was great.

This robe looked great right out of the package, but after washing according to the label instructions, it left purple fuzzies EVERYWHERE. I had to vacuim out my washer, my dryer, and the carpet. I called customer service and they told me to return it. Unfortunately they made me pay for the shipping. I'm not very happy about that considering it was a quality problem.

This robe is light but it's made of the thinnest fabric I think they could have made a robe out of even thinner than the LLBean flannel nightgown I have. It is soft, but within an hour of opening it on Christmas morning, it caught on my drawer (which has no rough edges; I checked) and snagged, and a thread started coming undone. I stopped the snagging by tying a knot, but I still think this shows shoddy craftsmanship.
My main complaint is that this robe is not warm. It's practically just decorative. It's not warm enough for me to use during winter. Maybe it would be warm enough for spring or fall, but I never gravitate towards wearing flannel then. It seems to work for some people, based on the positive reviews, but I think this robe is an example of how LLBean quality doesn't match what the company built its reputation on. I'm very disappointed, because LLBean is such an easy go-to, but this robe makes me wary of relying on them for staples again.

Was disappointed that this winter robe felt more like a summer robe. Was happy to see that there were 2 ties so that it would be more secure when wearing. Do to the light weightness of it I returned it.

The robe is soft and warm but it is shedding! after 3 weeks!!! The sleeves are frayed and I find sheddings all around the house I could not recommend this product.
It is large and would fit a person 3-4 times my size.
