Made for a 6' 200/lb person. Not at all sized correctly, not even close. And then $6.50 deducted from return credit to account. What nerve. You lost a customer.

At first, this robe was wonderful. It was very soft. I expected some of the nap of the flannel to shed. And it did and several months later, it still is. I find it in the dryer lint and even in my hairbrush after brushing my hair! Now the robe is pilled like the very awful flannel sheets of yesteryear...the pills make the robe scratchy and uncomfortable. I'm really surprised by this, ll bean doesn't usually put out products that do not wear well and become unwearable due to poor fabric performance. I intend to return this robe for a refund and of course I have to pay ll bean the $7 or so dollars for the return label even though it's not my fault that the robe must be returned.

The fabric of this robe is as thin as anything I'd wear in summer, which is not why I'd order a Scotch Plaid Flannel robe from LL Bean. I looked everywhere for a good quality flannel robe for Colorado winters and couldn't find anything, but I knew Bean would have it. I was wrong. Maybe they don't exist anymore... I have to comment how the garment fits to be able to post a review, but I'm not trying it on.

Was hoping for a nice warm robe instead got a rather thin, light weight robe. Not at all what I hoped for considering the price.

I don't know what '100% Portuguese cotton flannel' is supposed to be, but this material, after one washing feels neither like flannel nor cotton. It pilled, it gathers static electricity like cheap polyester, and it catches and holds lint like a cheap suit on a guy with bad dandruff. I expect more from a robe costing $75. It is nothing like any other robe I've bought from LLBean. It is really hard for me to believe it is 100% cotton. Someone is fudging somewhere. Cotton doesn't act like this material does.

I replaced my 32 year old llbean flannel bathrobe because the belt finally shredded and it was getting pretty threadbare, with this really disappointing substitute. I understand that i am probably really out of touch with what is available in the bathrobe business but this bathrobe is not even close to my old one even in its decrepit state. The new one is thin and the pocket is already falling off. I always counted on LLBean quality but I guess nothing is forever.

I was REALLY excited about this robe. I ordered it in a few sizes and decided to go oversized so it was extra cozy and could be worn over sweats and other loungewear. Love the pattern + fit BUT.... the fabric is just not what it used to be. My mother jokingly told me I ruined Christmas with the amount of flannel lint that consumed my holiday visit and her corresponding cleaning (even after I left). The amount of shedding this robe does is unacceptable and sadly, it got returned. I'm surprised there are no other comments about the excessive lint. My friend said she had the same issue with pajamas last year.

As a long time llbean customer, this bathrobe is the very first purchase I am totally unhappy with. As usual, I washed before wearing in cold water on delicate cycle by itself. My washer was covered with balls of fabric, the robe had little pills all over. Same happened to my dryer. Repeated process with same results. Threw it out. Do not recommend, obviously.

I bought a plaid flannel robe in petite small for my adult daughter for Christmas. When she opened it and tried it on, it was hard (read impossible) to believe that it was the correct size although the tag on the robe said indeed it was. The sleeves were much too long as was the length and the overall look was bulky. Normally I don't want to register for accounts for vendors but I did so that I could warn others of the sizing issue of this robe that looked wonderful in the photograph.

Bought one of these in size petite XL and it was so long it drags on the floor! The sleeves were also way too long as well. I am not impressed with the fabric. I far prefer the pima cotton robes made in Peru sold on this site as they fit as they should and the fabric is far superior. I cannot recommend this robe. Sorry L.L. Bean.

This robe is clearly cut for a man. It has really big shoulders, extra long sleeves, and it's a big boxy body with no shape. I'm 5'4, 105 pounds, size 4/6. I ordered an XS. When I close the robe, the one side goes completely over the other, leaving me only one pocket. If I wanted to wear a men's robe, I could have ordered this from the men's robes long ago. I'm not going to return it; I can wear it when I'm alone. It is made of a nice material; it's a soft lightweight cotton flannel, but If you want a robe that's pretty enough to wear around other people, don't order this one. L.L.Bean should be ashamed of themselves for passing this off as a WOMAN'S robe.

I was really looking forward to the arrival of this robe. The description of "exclusive brushed Portugese flannel" that has been "brushed on both sides for superior softness" certainly does not apply to the robe I received. Not only was it not soft, it actually felt scratchy against my skin, even after several washings. The fabric was also very flimsy, not at all what one would expect from high quality flannel. I am very disappointed in this product...it is not what a consumer should expect from LLBean.
