Felt cheapy made for the price point and brand name. Had to give it as a gift to my mom for Christmas with the receipt so she could get something that didn't suck. Would not recommend.
Disappointed,

I needed a new LLBean flannel bathrobe. It had served me well. But it had a few too many holes after about 10 or more years. So I put one on my Christmas list. And I got one. So disappointed. This was a women's version of the flannel bathrobe that I had before. Little did I know that LLBean provides much more in a robe designed for men than it does for women. This feels more like a spring or even summer bathrobe than something that will be keeping me warm this winter. Too bad. Really a drop in quality.

I was really hopeful about this robe, as I have been looking for a flannel robe for some time. Although the colors are pretty, the fabric is rough and the weight is very thin, definitely not warm and cozy.
Returned it, and will continue the search.

So surprised at the low quality. Robe and monogramming subpar. Not what I expected from L.L. Bean. Monogram super small

I am disappointed. The fit is great, but the robe is pilling after the first wash and the belt rolls up/won't lay flat and looks cheap and I don't like it. Not the quality I expect from LLBean.

Decided to finally buy one of these after wanting one for years. It came in the mail today. I was really excited about it, I washed it according to the instructions, and it's already pilling. I don't think it's going to hold up for very long. It looks ratty already and for a $100 robe, I am over this. feels very fast fashion.

It's like wearing a cotton sheet. Just a thin fabric that pills on first wash. I've had it for a few weeks and have not worn it for more than a few minutes once. It is just not cozy or comfortable. I do not recommend.

Liked the style of this robe and pockets. This robe is not warm and is very thin flannel. I returned it. Wish L.L. Bean would bring back the very good quality they had in their products.

This robe was wonderful until the first washing, despite following the washing instructions. The once soft cozy flannel shrunk, became nappy and shapeless. Extremely disappointed with this item, particularly because of the price. Definitely expected an upscale product not a cheap knockoff. Rating given on fit is post-washing.

I've been eyeing this robe for years. Finally, I received it as a Christmas gift and was shocked by the quality or rather lack thereof. It is so thin and see through and for $100, not the quality I expect from LL Bean. This one is going back.

As others have noted, the material is cheap, thin, shapeless. Worst "flannel" I've ever seen. Definitely not up to L.L. Bean standards. Return process was easy.

Cheap, cheap, cheap! Shame on you. LL Bean. $99 for a flannel I can see through, you can do better than this.

I had purchased LL bean flannel sheets and duvet cover and thought this robe would be of a similar quality. While I did not want anything too heavy, I did want it for winter wear. This robe is too lightweight for that and is almost see-through when held to the light.

So disappointed that for bear 100 dollars this robe is so thin. I wanted a warm and cozy robe for winter.

I bought this for my mom hoping it would be of good quality fabric, thick for a MN winter but when it arrived it was thin and poor quality. I returned it.

I’m very disappointed by the quality of this fabric. If I’m paying $80-$100 for a robe then I’m expecting it to be warm and decently thick, this was disappointing and thin.

Got as a Christmas gift from my daughter & this was a big expense for her. Have worn this robe daily for 1-1/2 years. It has developed a hole in the pocket and a tear at the elbow. My husband bought his about six years ago and his is still fine. Quality has gone downhill and my robe is very thin.

Very disappointed. This robe is the thickness of tissue paper and not soft like a nice flannel. This winter has been unusually warm in the 40's and 50's and this robe was so cold. This robe will not keep you warm on a chilly 60 degree day. LLBean used to have nice weight, soft flannel but is now selling the thinnest, lightest weight fabric that is not soft. This is not an inexpensive robe but an exorbitant price for what they are selling. I would pay more for a decent flannel. I hope LLBean's quality comes back up. Otherwise I will be shopping elsewhere. Their competition is doing better. My advice is look around for other alternatives!

Smelled like someone wearing perfume had tried it on, perhaps even worn it. Could smell it without even standing close and it wasn't pleasant. In fact, awful. Also the material is very thin.

Lightweight flannel. Not warm. Expected better quality. I have to wear a sweater over the robe to get warm.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I bought this same robe ten years ago. The quality has definitely changed. This robe is a scratchy flannel that sheds all over the place after washing. I hate it and will donate it. If I hadn’t washed it, I’d return it.

I am now on my second robe, each lasted only a few years before both had holes in the center of the back! The robe is extremely comfortable but for the price I should not be walking around with a robe that is missing a good amount of its center! Shame on LL Bean!!!
