I have had my flannel robe for about 2 months now. I have washed it and several times, and it did shrink a bit. Note: Be sure to remove the belt before washing, and DO NOT put it in the dryer, as it will come out a wrinkled mess. Instead, carefully smooth it out and lay it over a hanger to dry. The robe is warm enough here in Texas,, but might not be warm enough in a really cold climate. I only gave it 4 stars, because I really don't care much for the dark plaid, as it does not look at all feminine to me. I wish LLBean would offer women's robes in some pretty floral patterns or at least pretty pastel plaids.

My wife is generally happy with the material quality, design, construction and styling of this robe. The only negative comment she has is that the LARGE size is a little too long for my wife who is about 5'2" tall.

I like this robe but have a two suggestions! First I wish the flannel material was a bit thicker. Second I wish more attention was paid to the belt. The belt has no support and after washing has turned into a thin twisty string tie. Otherwise the robe is comfortable and well-sized and I'm enjoying it.

I love the flannel bathrobe from LL Bean. This is my 3rd one. They're pricey, but after trying cheaper ones, I always come back to these. They get softer with washing..and last quite awhile. I like the weight of the flannel- not too heavy to feel bulky, not so thin that it feels cheap. Thin enough to layer over other pajamas. My only complaint is that you have to expect it will shrink the first time you wash it. My recent purchase seemed to shrink more than the robes I purchased a few years back. The sleeve length is a bit too short now, but I will live with it. I'm 5'7 for reference.

Nice robe, fits well. Like the plaid. Comfy after my shower.

Initially I was disappointed with how thin this robe was but I after I began wearing it I really liked the weight which is perfect for throwing on after a shower. I love how soft this robe is and the length is quite long so has great coverage for chilly winter mornings. The colors are very pretty too (light blues, gray).

I received this robe as a gift. I love the material & plaid. However, I'm 5'5"& it is VERY long. So long, that I stepped on it going up stairs & tripped. I'll need to have it shortened to prevent another fall. This robe is best for tall women. It is not available in a shorter length. Beware if you use stairs.

As others have noted, this flannel is very thin compared to most. For the Florida winter it's perfect, but when I visit the northern states in winter I have a more substantial flannel robe. I'm 5'5" and this robe hits at high ankle. If you're not very tall, you might find it too long. The blue and red colors are very vibrant and the robe didn't shrink when I washed and dried it according to the directions. I'm pleased with it, but if you're looking for a heavy weight flannel this one isn't for you.

Suits my purpose very well. I was hoping for a slightly heavier flannel.

Overall it is nice - but when I see "flannel" I expect it to be thicker - it is pretty thin so wont do as a winter robe though that is what I needed - still, it will be OK the rest of the year

This particular plaid, Indigo Tartan, shrinks up quite a bit. Order the next size up. Otherwise it's great. Wonderfully soft.

It's fine but so very much thinner than in the past. I only bought it because I could not find that style elsewhere. You need to go back to the one I bought for years and loved! Much thinner!! Better as a summer robe.

It's so soft and soothing. I just wish it was a little thicker.

Love the fabric and the color, & the generous cut, but the robe is about 6 inches too long, and I don't sew. So dropped a star, as it will be months before I can find or get to someone to hem it for me, given that Hurricane Helene has just left this area.

I bought this to replace my old LL bean bathrobe. It's considerably thinner and very lightweight for a winter bathrobe. I will keep it but sad that you no longer hit the high standards that I use to associate with all LL Bean clothing

Well made. Soft fabric. Not as heavy fabric as my last robe but will be nice for cool mornings.

I odered a size EXTRA large becAUSE MY OLD ONE WAS X L. tHIS ONE IS MUCH TOO BIG. aLSO i ORDERED PETITE BUT IT DRAGGED ON THE FLOOR. iT WAS AS LONG AS MY LATE HUSBABD'S ROBE WAS THE SAME LONGTH AS THIS PETITE ONE.. i AM DISAPPOOINTED AND WILL BE RETURNING IT IN PERSON. i STILL LOVE THE PLAID AND HOPE i CAN FIND ONE TO FIT ME.

This is at least my 4th of this style robe over the past 40 or so years. The material weight has definitely decreased, but can't beat the coziness to wrap up in at night and relax. For after shower, I prefer a more absorbent material so I have other robes for that purpose. Robe washes and wears well and will last for years I am sure. Thank you LL for keeping this robe in your line up!

The plaid is very pretty, but I was disappointed in the robe overall. My old one finally wore out and I was hoping that this would be a good replacement. The shoulders are narrower now and it has patch pockets, which I don't care for. My old one had on-seam pockets, which I much prefer. The fabric is about the same thickness as the old one that I've worn for 15+ years! The robe seems to be made well, but the fabric and the style are not the same, so I returned it. Of course, it's more expensive, but I'm sure it has doubled in price in all the years since I got the last one!

A little big for stated size, but warm and comfortable.

I love this bathrobe. Just purchased a new one after having a Scotch plaid robe for several years. It's a great robe in winter and summer. I now have the cream, blue, gray plaid. I just want to say I wish they had a more feminine color option. All the colors make me feel like an old man. There must be some cuter, prettier flannel patterns out there.

This is my second LLBean Flannel Robe. I wore the life out of my first one.

I love this robe. It's cozy and warm. It's large because I ordered it that way.

Good quality. Comfortable. Nice feel. Too long for me as I am 5'2" and front drags the floor. Gotta take it to alteration shop to cut/hem.
