I ordered this robe to appease my wife, who's been begging me for years to replace my old, fluffy, red bathrobe. I have to say, I'm so glad I made the change! The Scotch Plaid Flannel Robe is comfortable, dignified, and practical. The front overlaps all the way from side to side, giving good coverage. The pockets, side loops, and inner ties all appear well constructed, so I expect this robe will last me a while. It may not be quite as warm as my old, fuzzy bathrobe; but I expect it to work for a moderate Seattle winter, and the upside is that I can wear it in other seasons, as well! Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Red plaid flannel robe- lightweight but warm enough for Colorado winters. Full length, perfect sizing. Just a really nice robe for a great price.

This robe is LONG ENOUGH! I can take my dogs out at night and not have an icey wind blow up my legs and I can sit down and cross my legs with enough robe to cover them! The fabric is very high quality, super soft, washes like a dream with beautiful vivid colors. I actually own all three plaid patterns available and it's a perfect medium weight robe. For even colder nights I have a LLBEAN fleece robe in the same long length. Somebody put a great deal of thought in this design. You'll never own a better or more comfortable robe. Do it!

I love my flannel robe.It keeps me warm enough without causing hot-flashes. It runs a little large, but I prefer that. The color is more red than the picture advertises, and I love that too.

Love, Love, Love this robe. The flannel is soft and warm, and is yarn dyed so it won't fade. I waited a long time for it to be available again with LLBean. The last one I had lasted 20 years - yes it was threadbare and worn, but it was the best robe. I hope this one is just as good. Thank You LLBean for returning this robe to inventory!

Received this robe as a Christmas present and I am thrilled! It is soft, beautiful and warm, while not being bulky! And my favorite thing is that it's long enough. I'm 5'6" with long legs and I like my robes to cover all of me. It doesn't go to the top of my feet, but it's close. Highly recommend this product!

I love the weight of the flannel. I am short (5'2"), but I ordered misses bc I don't like the way petite clothes fit me. I love the longer length. I'm replacing a worn out men's flannel robe I wore for years. So happy to have a women's version. Even though it's red plaid, it feels very feminine. Well worth the expense. I expect it to last for years. And, it came out perfect after it was washed.

Love this robe. It is warm but not heavy as fleece robes can be. The shoulders fit perfectly and the length is perfect too. I have not washed the robe so do not know about possible shrinkage.

Didn't want a heavy fleece bathrobe and could not find a thing that I liked until I found this wonderful bathrobe. Extremely soft and the perfect weight for wear. I bought a petite medium and I am 5'2" so this was a little bit long, but one wash and it should be perfect. Would definitely buy this again or even for anyone else. LOVE IT!

I put off buying this robe for over a month because of some of the negative reviews on the weight of the flannel. Let me tell you, this material feels wonderful on your skin or as a second layer. It's so soft!! I don't think it's supposed to be as thick as the awesome flannel shirts of LLBean. It's great quality and my new favorite!

Very nice robe. Generous cut. Washes and dries nicely. The red color is a very deep red, something to consider if you like the bright Christmas red. The flannel is a medium weight. I would have liked a heavier weight but it is still nice. Ordered a petite large but if you waffle between a medium and large size down. The sleeves are not too long which is something short armed people struggle with so that is a plus. Very happy with this purchase.

This was a gift to myself and I couldn't be more pleased, fits perfect and is amazingly soft but extremely warm. No need for a throw when you put this on and relax on the couch. I love it! I am 5'2" and the petite is a little long but not terribly so and once it is washed and dried I'm sure it will come up a bit.

I was given this for Christmas and I am so happy with it! I got the XL in Misses (not the petite) and it fits perfectly. I am normally a size 18 and this was perfect. There is lots of fabric to wrap around so no draft gaps in the front, and it is nice and long. The sleeves are roomy enough to wear flannel Pjs under it, and just the right length for me. The flannel is cosy and soft and clearly a good quality fabric. The colours of the tartan are beautiful and rich. This is the best winter robe I have ever had.

I ordered three different robes from Bean, hoping one would be right, almost like story of the beds in the The Three Bears! One was too heavy, one was too light, but this robe was Just Right! It is a nice flannel and very roomy so I had to return the xl(I am 5'9" and a bit plump) for a large. The large is plenty roomy enough. Same as the pj's which I got to match. I live on Cape Cod so winters are damp but not overly cold and the flannel is enough weight to keep you snug and warm. The sleeves are nice and long for this tall gal.

I love this robe! I have been looking for the perfect cotton flannel robe and this is it! I do not like big fluffy synthetic robes, so if that is what you like, this may not be the robe for you. This robe is super soft comfortable and attractive. I love the Black watch plaid. I don't think the model picture does it justice I am tempted to buy one in another color just to have it on hand in case this one wears over time. Thank you LL Bean

Ordered a small based on the sizing chart and it fit perfectly. A lovely deep shade of Red and a good weight flannel. Will likely get softer after washing. Happy!

I LOVE my comfy flannel robe and pajama pants. They are soooooo warm and comfortable during the fall and winter months.

I never saw a reason to wear a robe, but I love Dress Gordon Plaid and first bought throw, then nightshirt & lastly robe. I love this robe because it is not too bulky and I am almost always cold, but since I have been wearing this over any of the plaid nightshirts I am nice & warm. I almost ordered it in another color but I am glad I ordered Dress Gordon. It is my favorite purchase this season, along with the nightshirts.
